Do your research

So I joined InteleTravel last year in the hope that I’d be able to get holidays at great prices and become an independent Travel agent.
In hindsight I should have done more research before joining.

In my opinion I found the online training/webinars very confusing and difficult to understand, you didn’t have to complete all at once though. After listening to the webinars and doing the online training you’re all of a sudden a fully qualified travel agent!? How, when people go to college for years and have apprenticeships to become one?? Let that sink in.
Why would someone want to book with you after doing online training for a few hours rather than a travel agent that has years and years of experience?

I do agree with alot of people that this is a pyramid scheme!! Obviously they are illegal but this is very very similar!! You have a mentor - who messages you via social media selling you all this that you can make X amount of commission etc. at first they are very very nice and welcoming and helping you to start your business but when you’ve launched you are on your own!! Your mentor doesn’t want to know at all. It’s because, once they have signed you up they get commission. They get commission every time you sell a holiday.
Which leads me to my next point..not once did I find a holiday cheaper in the back office or in the suppliers sites. It is cheaper for customers to book direct. In order to get loads of commission you need to be booking expensive holidays.

I really wish I did more research into this and read reviews.
Please if you are thinking of becoming an independent online travel agent do research.

Misleading Experience – Focus Is on Recruiting, Not Travel

I joined InteleTravel believing I was signing up for a genuine opportunity to earn money by booking travel and helping clients. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing and felt more like a recruitment scheme than a real travel business.

From the beginning, I was given misleading information. I was told clients would receive the same pricing through me as they would booking directly, but that they’d benefit from my help and service. In reality, every client I worked with found cheaper prices on their own and ended up booking directly — making it impossible for me to earn anything meaningful.

Worse, the support was almost nonexistent. My mentor couldn’t answer basic questions, and when I reached out to the team director, I was met with rude and dismissive responses. I felt completely unsupported and alone in figuring things out.

What became clear very quickly is that the real focus of InteleTravel — especially through the PlanNet Marketing side — is not travel at all, but recruiting. The emphasis is on building a “team” and getting others to sign up under you, which creates a cycle that feels more like a multi-level marketing structure than a professional travel business.

When I asked for a refund due to this misrepresentation and lack of support, I was told I didn’t meet the refund criteria — even though the experience I had was clearly not what was promised.

I would not recommend InteleTravel to others. Unless you’re interested in recruiting more people rather than selling travel, you may find, like I did, that this isn’t what you thought you were signing up for.

What an AMAZING opportunity this is!!

I’ve been with InteleTravel for just 7 months, and it’s been nothing short of amazing. Since joining, I’ve saved money on every holiday I’ve booked (yes, really!) and even started earning extra income just for doing what I love TRAVELING!

In less than a year, I’ve already been on 5 (almost 6!) incredible trips and I’ve got plenty more lined up. Whether it’s beach escapes, city breaks, or luxury getaways, this opportunity has made it all so much more accessible.

If you’ve got a passion for travel and want to explore more without breaking the bank this is honestly a no-brainer. I get to live the travel lifestyle AND make money from it? Sign me up again please!

I signed up with them 6 months ago - awful experince so far

I signed up with them 6 months ago , Pay a month subscription. The deals i can get as a travel agent are great but I would strongly recommend trying ot register as a travel agent antoher way
Inteletravel has poor customer service...a booking back end system older than when i used to be an internal travel agent back in 2013. Very glitchy and you only get paid on thigns 60 days after clients have travelled. I feel that they are greedy and no idea where all our money is going to

Such an amazing company

Such an amazing company - so many travel deals that I've never been able to find on the usual Internet searches. Agents who book safaris, world tour trips and cruises and never an issue. Will always use them knowing that my holidays are safe and my money is well spent

Fabulous Opportunity to own and grow your own travel business

I joined in August 2024, I absolutely love it. I've made a significant amount not only through commission but also savings on my own holidays. There is so much training and support so for all the negative reviews, all I can say is you obviously didn't do the training and put into practice everything you're taught. It is your business so you obviously have to treat it like a business and work at it, it's not a get rick quick scheme, but if you are coachable and put in the action required your earning potential is unlimited! It really is a fantastic opportunity.

Don't let the bad reviews put you off, if you are hard working and want to get out of the 9-5 or just want another income stream then go for it. I'm so glad I did!

I joined InteleTravel as an Independent…

I joined InteleTravel as an Independent Travel Agent because I was already helping friends and family plan their holidays and giving recommendations — but earning nothing from it. Now, I get paid for doing what I love anyway: booking travel, sharing amazing deals, and helping others create unforgettable experiences.

There’s a lot of negativity online about ITAs, and I get it — people are quick to judge what they don’t fully understand. But here’s the truth: this opportunity has been worth every single penny. It’s more than just a side hustle — it’s a real business with real income potential. You get out what you put in.

Working through InteleTravel has given me flexibility, confidence, and a new sense of purpose. I’ve not only saved money on my own travel but also earned commissions just from bookings I was already helping people with for free. Plus, I’ve connected with an incredible community of like-minded people who support each other every step of the way.

If you love travel and you’re already the go-to person for tips, ideas, or planning — why not get paid for it? This has genuinely changed my life, and I’m excited for what’s still to come.

Best decision ever! Wish I’d signed up sooner!

I signed up with Inteletravel at the start of this year 2025 and wished I’d done it sooner. I love to travel and I love helping others travel too

It’s flexible, convenient, there are no targets to reach. You do this when this suits you. I don’t have to spend a certain amount to get “active”. I pay my monthly fee (which covers a whole host of things including but not everything… ABTA Membership, training, access to long standing trade members, a reliable and updated Back Office)

Not only do I benefit from all the discounts and commissions but from the incredible team around me. Nothing is too much trouble and EVERYONE is only too happy to help or give advice. It’s a pretty inspiring place to be

Don’t sit on the fence, sign up. If you put work into this business you will succeed

I have only extremely positive things…

I have only extremely positive things to say about this company.

The resources, support and training we have access to is incredible. I would never have been able to set up my own travel business without the support and the customer service team are also so helpful.

The only regret I have about joining InteleTravel - is not joining sooner!

I would recommend to anyone & everyone.

Valada Morris is a thief and a liar

Valada Morris is a thief and a liar. She was planning our family trip. First she insisted we provide 1/2 of the deposit 6 months before the trip, then we had to call repeatedly to get a receipt. When we asked for confirmation numbers she cancelled our trip, now she refuses to return over $20k. She originally said she would return our money on 3/7/25 then 3/14/2025. Not only has she not returned our money, she won’t answer calls and this scam agency refuses to help. Run far far away.

They're The Worse

I am a home based agent with this entity. I personally would give them zero stars if I could. I pay $40/month BUT have NEVER received my commissions on time. NEVER. I usually book enough to pay that amount only as I still have a full time job that pays my bills. If I were a big seller, I wonder if I would have the same issue? The person I came in under rarely speaks of issues with receiving her money so why do I continue to have issues? I wouldn't recommend them to anyone I cared about. Maybe you will have a better experience. The date of my experiences has been for the past two years.

It's a funnel scheme and there are no savings trust me

I hope this review helps someone who is considering using inteletravel.
I found that the savings made were nominal - in fact the only saving you made was through commission and after inteletravel took their cut it was very little you received (if at all). The amount of time spent trying to make a saving of the odd £ here and there did not outweigh the savings made. There are plenty of deals available on the internet that are much better.
For example I booked a very expensive cruise for myself and my family and extended family i was told i would get a commission and that was the lowest price available. Getting closer to the travel date i saw deals coming up that were much much better on igloo cruises. When i challenged this with inteletravel and the cruise line direct i was told i shouldnt have looked elsewhere and they can't beat igloo cruises as they have a long standing contract with them. In the end it was cheaper to cancel my inteletravel booking and lose my deposit and rebook with igloo cruises. Terrible. It was at that point i had made the final decision to leave however, i hadn't been paid for a lot of my bookings and was told i would have to remain a member paying my monthly fee in order to get my commission - again i thought this was unfair it was my commission but did as i was told. I booked a very expensive holiday to a melia hotel for a client and i never got the commission for this - inteletravel said to contact the hotel direct which i did and they said they were happy to pay they just need a direct contact at inteletravel to sort it. Nothing from inteletravel. After nearly a year of waiting .... yes ONE WHOLE YEAR i cancelled my membership and wrote it all off as a bad experience. The savings were so low and so was the commission - for example car park booking - car park booking after inteletravel took their cut i got paid £2! I have managed to get better deals doing it by myself. I also found that hotels weren't welcoming when i contacted them to say i was an agent of inteletravel i got the impression they thought you were just after a cheaper holiday and didn't offer anything lower than going on their website.
I wish someone had told me allll this before i dove in. if you think about it - it's a funnel scheme with only those at the top making money while you work ALOT! It was also well known that you could never beat the JET2 style holiday packages ... so why bother trying? I hope this helps someone.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had

I will never utilize this agency again. I booked a cruise with two high school friends, paid $600 towards the trip. I was told this amount included travel insurance. I had a health scare and opted out. I received only $50 of the cancellation fee back from AON travel insurance. I contacted my travel agent who gave me the run around for months until i decided to litigate. Now all of a sudden, my money went towards the other two roommates. K. Sterling you are a complete POS. You stole my money. You have no morals or ethics. My hope is that you receive exactly what you gave. I wouldn't allow this agency to book a trip for my dog. HORRIBLE

This company gives you the freedom to earn.

I joined Intele back in November and it was probably one of the best career moves I have made in 40 years.

As an ex police officer for the Met Police for 10 years I was sceptical after reading many reviews, however I did my research and this company is far from illegal or a scam. I do wonder how many of these reviews are from people who have actually joined the business or given up after not becoming a millionaire overnight.

It's a legitimate home based travel agency where you earn commission on your bookings. I have made bookings and earned commission back. Its very simple :-)

Like 80% of businesses out there they have a referral scheme which allows you to build a team, which I initially wasn't interested in but this part of the business is actually incredible and I have personally seen friends in the business change their lives from this model.
(You don't have to do this side of the business if you don't want. Its optional.)

P.S Pyramid schemes are illegal...this company are partnered with HUGE organisations such as Disney, Lapland, Hotels worldwide, Cruise companies and they have been recognised and won awards. They have been operating for over 30 years.
If it was a pyramid scheme it would have been shut down long ago and I don't think these well respected organisations would allow the agents to promote or book their services.

Any course you enroll in to learn a new skill doesn't come for free, yes there is a very small joining fee and a monthly fee but the amount of support you receive is worth it.
If you put in the effort - then you will get results
