Do not sign up with GT!

I had a very negative experience with GT. Their customer service is extremely poor, with little to no support—responses can take months. I strongly advise against signing up as a travel agent with them.
Based on my experience, commissions were not paid as expected! I spent nearly a year working with them and received only about 10% of payments despite paying for the Platinum package, which was supposed to provide a 90% commission!!
I hope the appropriate authorities review these complaints and investigate the situation further!

0 Stars for this scam site.

If I could give - stars, I would. This is a total scam site. Pretending to be On the beach agents, they said they could charge me £50 return for a hold bag. I gave my bank details, then realised it was a scam. Contacted my bank and found out they had tried to take over £400. Shame on them.

I signed up for this company wanting to…

I signed up for this company wanting to know more about it. After you sign up you schedule a welcome call, in which every link that was sent would not work. Red flag number 1. You have a 2 week trial or your money back. You have to email or use chat in which No one answers till your 2 weeks has passed resulting in no refunds. There are so many red flags with those company. Please do not waste your money on this company.

A total scammer wannabe company

A total scammer wannabe company. I sat through a presentation that lasted over an hour. During the presentation we were told that if we sign up to become  independent travel agents with them, agents will get 20% to 70% discounts on airline tickets, hotels, cruises, etc. I asked the presenter to show us her screen and run a search so we can see the prices but she said that that is done during orientation. Then one of her slides had listed prices for 3 hotels. I instantly checked one of the hotels and the price was $138 per night vs her slide of $178. When I mentioned that she said that her slides were outdated and the prices for that hotel are much cheaper now on the Global Travel website vs her slide. Yet, when I ran a search the next day, the GT site listed the same hotel for $181.99.
I signed up and received a 14-day trial. When I immediately searched for the exact same hotel on the Global Travel website using my agent code and then searched the exact same hotel on Booking.com I was shocked to find that the prices on Booking.com were at least $400 cheaper for the duration of the trip versus the total price on Global Travel. I then compared a flight and the cheapest flight on Global Travel was with Delta. I immediately searched the Delta website for the exact same dates and destination, and the price difference between Delta and Global Travel was only 80 cents. I submitted a cancellation and refund request with Global Travel immediately. I can't believe anyone is allowed to do this without being arrested by the authorities.

I am writing to formally express my experiences

I am writing to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction with my experience booking through Global Travel. This was one of the most unprofessional and frustrating travel experiences I have ever encountered.

I arrived at the airport at 3:00 a.m. for a very important flight, only to be informed by the airline that I did not have a reservation. After double-checking my confirmation details, I was told that the booking had never actually been secured. In other words, although I paid for the flight, no ticket was ever issued.

At that moment, I attempted to immediately contact the agent who handled my reservation. My phone calls went unanswered. My emails received no response. There was no emergency support line, no accountability, and no urgency shown despite the time-sensitive nature of travel. As a direct result of this agency’s negligence and lack of communication, I missed a critically important flight.

This situation was not only financially damaging but also extremely stressful and disruptive. When customers book travel services, especially flights, there is an expectation of professionalism, confirmation, and reliable support. None of those standards were met.

Due to the lack of response and failure to deliver the service paid for, I am proceeding with filing a dispute with my bank.

I strongly caution others against booking with this agency. If a problem arises, you may be left without assistance, without answers, and without the travel arrangements you paid for. Travel is stressful enough customers should not have to worry about whether their ticket was actually booked.

Bait and switch

What out for this, seems great but if you ask them to verify there claims they say they will not until you pay in full , than once you do you find the numbers are not what they claim. Also they offer a 500 credit that changes to 100 dollar that changes to nothing . If you sign you get a free week vacation that is a voucher you need to pay for and/or take a tour.. All bait and switch. You have been warned

This company is giving not accurate price.

This company is giving not accurate price. As an agent I book for a friend and later the price was changed. The card was charged yet the booking did not go through asking for additional money. Why they would published a flight on their website and later on it will be changed.

I don't know why this company should be…

I don't know why this company should be open and stealing from people.
I signed up with Global Travel Company based on the services they promised, but it quickly became clear that they were not delivering what they said they would. Because of this, I canceled my membership and lost my initial $199.

Unfortunately, it didn’t end there. After canceling, they charged my account another $199. When I contacted customer service, I was told the charge had been refunded. However, my bank later informed me that Global Travel Company submitted documentation claiming I had signed something stating I received the refund — which is completely untrue.

This experience has been extremely frustrating and concerning. No one should have to deal with unauthorized charges or false claims like this. I strongly caution others to be very careful before doing business with this company.

This is not a serious travel agency

This is not a serious travel agency. They omit crucial details while planning the trip. When things don’t go as planned keep money back which was promised to be fully accredited for another trip. Or are not responding to any emails or calls so that your chosen date passes by without a single contact. Agents are changing all the time but if you seem to have found a helpful one he can do nothing because you belong to another one who doens’t have any interest in contacting you back.

Well experienced travel agent

I was a travel agent and owner for 30 years. retired and decided to go back into part-time travel, once I gave them my money, nothing every comes of it. No help but lip service, promises not kept, no response on emails or questions. Their hotel and car prices were higher than booking directly with vendors. Their cruise's were no discounts and the way they handle things I would never trust them to follow through. Buyer beware is all I can say!

Horrible company

Horrible company! This company is a scam! They do nothing for you! And I would've cancelled my membership immediately after I was charged however, it was impossible to get in touch with anyone & no one would respond to my calls or emails. They do not do what is promised. I did not receive any discounted trips or even hotel rates. The rates are their site are more expensive than hotels.com. No one should ever sign up for their membership, the commission is very minimal and takes forever to be paid out. They should be put out of business. I wish I had read the complaints on this site before I joined the site. Such a huge disappointment!! So sad that a company can be able to take such advantage of people. This company's membership is USELESS!!

Stay away! They are scammers!

They promise you everything and anything just to trap you in!
They advertise fake photos of food where their food tastes and looks sh**, they advertise nice attractions what are closed already for years, they advertise beautiful rooms and they actually smell of damp!
Don’t trust them!

Daughter travelled to New Zealand with Global Travel

When my daughter L. said she was going to New Zealand for a year (from Ireland) on her own, I was very concerned.
She said she was organising her trip through Global Travel.
Global Travel organised the flights to New Zealand via San Francisco, the stopover visa in the USA, her accommodation in Auckland, someone to meet her in the airport in Auckland and drive her to her accommodation, a four-day site-seeing trip in Auckland, and an interview.
We are now nearly a week later.
Everything that Global Travel said they would do has occurred.
L. had the interview and got the job.
There is no amount of money that can buy this peace of mind for a parent.
Thank you so much Global Travel.

Absolutely a SCAM

Absolutely a SCAM. You won’t receive or be able to track commission. Customer service reps are mean, unprofessional and lack knowledge. I have over $6000 in trips booked and won’t receive a dime BUT this company will. For a $4500 I was only going to receive $145 that I have to wait 3 months for.. I will have paid more to be a member that what I will ever receive

Scammers

I made a hotel reservation using this scammer company. They took my money and send me a confirmation e-mail stating that my book has been booked. A few weeks, later when I arrived to the hotel, they did not have the book reserved. All they did was apologize... truly ridiculous and would not recommend them to anyone. Shame on you for not taking care of your customers and only worrying about profiting. I will never use you again.

Joined, still a member and would join again

Joined them as a travel agent years ago as I travel quite a bit (not during covid). I get travel agent discounts (hotels, cars, and cruises not on airlines). Their travel agent rates are usually much better than I can find elsewhere online. Commission have always been paid on time for me when I book for others. The are the oldest in the home based space. Also like you can call up to make reservations and get help with your bookings.
