I bought this insurance as the quote…
I bought this insurance as the quote because it stated £200 access but didn’t mention the extra % on top of that .
Didn’t see that until I had paid and it was in the conditions .
Will make sure I don’t make this mistake again - other insurers do mention this in their quote

Great and easy service
This is my first time owning a pet so took me a long time to research and choose an insurance company. My cat has had some issues with his eye and Insure Your Paws have been brilliant and have dealt with my claim very quickly with no issues, everything has been so straight forward so far, I would definitely recommend.

Great cover at reasonable cost. Insure your paws stood out on a comprehensive and informative list. I hope i will never need to use, but hope they will come up trumps if i need to. Easy to set up and great communication by email.

Claim handlers are inefficient
Positive: They paid out promptly, and eventually in full (they refused part of the claim without asking me or the vet about it but did pay once I queried it.)
Negative: When I submitted my claim the form asked for the vets contact details which i provided. Instead of contacting the vet for something the vet would have but I would not, they emailed me asking me to email the vet for it. Utterly ridiculous and so inefficient.

Efficient set up
Easy to set up, great prices. Obviously hopefully we won’t need to use the insurance but if we do I’m optimistic we will be looked after.

Jessica is "doggone" helpful
Our telephone assistant, Jessica was very helpful. She explained anything i didn't quite understand and made sure i was completely happy before proceeding with the policy taken out.

It was good to be able to compare what was right for my dog. He is six now and because I am retired on limited income I needed to make reasonable choice in case anything happens as vet bills are very high.
