Excellent cover with some additions. My dog is four this year and I've had to change policies due to unreasonably high renewal prices. In those cases the cover was not great, so I'm learning I also ne... See more

Like most things the cost could be better but otherwise it was all plain sailing - thanks.

They wanted to increase premium by 14.7 % they said they can only consider reducing the increase if it is, coincidentally, over 15%!!!!!!!

Friendly enough people to talk to, website easy to navigate. Everything is fine until you claim, the policy limits are unrealistic versus modern day veterinary prices and the claim process is painfully slow. On the last claim we made we had the vets do it directly and they were not amused with the time it took to process and they came back to us to complain about it.
Our dog is unlucky with her joints, in return we have seen our monthly premium exceed £100 a month at age 6-7, we were told that it went up because of the claims. This year we have been hit with a 15% rise which is very disappointing because we hadn’t made a claim in the past year and was hopeful that prices might fall, after all they had said it went up previously because we had claimed. It doesn’t stack up. I’ve called this month to ask why and the chap on the phone gave standard scripted answers, I’ve asked for a manager with authority to review premiums to call me back, two weeks and counting and I have no call back. If you think you won’t need to claim, then the initial low premiums are tempting, but I would say avoid, if you do claim the premium price rises are much higher than other providers.

Has issues setting up online, had to speak direct to one of your team to get the insurance in place.
Still waiting for all documents to come through the post as I requested

Policy well explained and seems comprehensive.
How easy it will be to make a claim I cannot comment on.

This is our second cat insurance with Insure Your Paws. Good value, very reasonable monthly payment. Very reasonable excess. Our previous cat was very ill and unfirtunately had to be put down. Insurance paid out for vet costs and even amount Wr have bought the cat for. Now We have new cat also insured and our monthly payment is even lower by few pounds .Very much recommend!

Gentleman sorted out the birth date because it wasnt showing properly no mater how much i tried, talked though all the options and answered my questions. Only trouble was i had to wait quite a bit for the call to be answered but once it was my query and everything including the insurance sorted quickly

Needed to make a claim. Completed online form, had no confirmation of claim being received. Making a claim is stressful enough, my expectation would be to have received a phone call at least or confirmation email. If the online system is faulty i will re consider my Trust pilot rating

I cancelled an auto renewal and received confirmation it was cancelled but despite this they took the money from my card. I sent multiple emails to them and the complaints department with no response. They’ve left me with no choice but to report them to the financial ombudsman and the bank. Extremely unprofessional and worried no safe guards in place. Stay away!
