This was my first time using an outside insurance to insure my cruise. I cruise often enough and we usually drive to the ports, so finding the right plan was a little confusing. My main concern is that we may have to be evacuated from the ship for what ever reason and I have heard horror stories of being stranded in small countries with no real way of getting home. I chose a plan that covered that and I had little to no concern over missed ports. Missed ports are usually for a reason of safety and I don't care about compensation. I will use this company again and I pray that I don't have to file a claim.
