I used their service for insulating my loft and replacing the loft floor. The service was prompt and professional. Their quotes were also very reasonable. They also cleared up my loft of rubbish left over by previous owners. I can happily recommend them to anybody who needs insulation.

Went to a few different companies but in the end chose Insulating Homes due to their professionalism and I am glad that I did. We had external wall insulation done and my property now looks amazing with a lovely rendered finish! They kept me updated from the start to finish which was great and I am very pleased with the work.

Had cavity wall and loft insulation done through a grant and from the beginning of the process they were professional to deal with.

Absolute Cowboys. They did demolition work without putting up plastic sheeting to stop the dust filling the whole house.
During the insulation process I had to be on top of them the whole time due to them constantly leaving big gaps between the rafters and the PIR board so not creating an airtight envelope.

They also built me a new stud wall that is not straight but wavey

Finally the plaster work is shocking. Do not have the beads meeting, there are lots of streaks and marks in the plaster. The decorators do not want to paint it due to how bad it is

From start to finish, Insulating homes have been polite, professional and superb customer service.
The insulation team accidently hit a pipe in the loft which subsequently caused a small gas leak. I got this fixed ASAP and then advised the company who immediately repaid the cost of fixing the leak without hesitation.

Insulating homes were great to deal with. They insulated my walls and loft and were polite and friendly throughout the entire process.

I think this company is well intentioned and run by courteous people. I found the initial offer of a free assessment if you receive a ‘trigger’ benefit or charged for quotation if you don’t a bit confusing. The assessor paid a visit that was rather cursory and we then were presented with two options neither of which were what we thought we had asked for and were work for their company. Basically it is a charged for quotation. Be sure that’s what you are after. The assessor sent less than half an hour with us and we were charged £39 on the spot. The company kindly agreed to refund the money as we weren’t happy.

Amazing group of guys! good to know genuine companies are still out there advising you on what you actually need rather than spending lots of money. We’ve had damp issues for a while now and these guys were amazing to find the source of the problem and to help with it and only once I got that issue fixed they came back to do the insulation job where other companies tried to push me into going ahead even though my property was not suitable, Special thanks to Megan and Sonny for taking care of me throughout the entire process.

The Engineer came to survey my property. He pointed out the issues and made the explanation simple and easy for me to understand. He told me my property was not suitable for cavity wall insulation. Insulating Homes is an honest and trustworthy company.

Efficient dealings with this company. 4 weeks from enquiring and my walls and loft are insulated and I was very much kept up to speed every step of the way.

My loft is now very snugly insulated in preparation for the winter months (and the rising energy costs) and I paid extra, at a reasonable price, to get them to install elevated boarding for accessible storage in my loft.

I’m really happy with the service provided by Insulating Homes, they are a professional and courteous company that made it a pleasant experience to deal with them even though my home was disrupted for 1 week for them to insulate my inner walls with board insulation and plaster boards including plastering the walls. As you can imagine there was a lot of dust however they had the right tools in place and they were very careful to clean once complete which was great. I am pleased with the works so far and only time will tell now if it was worth doing!

I had damp coming into the property and didn’t know how to go about it however the team at Insulating Homes were a great help they sorted the issue from start to finish from coming out and conducting the survey to installing a damp proof course 6 weeks later haven’t had a problem since they also installed a fancy extractor fan that helps get rid of damp air. Would definitely recommend to anyone having damp issues.

Absolutely brilliant service from speaking with Samantha to the assessment with Marcus they took care of the whole process for me and I must say Sunny and Andy did a fantastic job.

A team of three came to my house and explained exactly what they were going to do and gave me updates throughout until the insulation work on my roof was completed. Very friendly, very thorough and they showed respect for my home. They also tidied up after themselves both inside and outside my house. Very impressed with the the guys.

Amazing and professional company just spoke to one of the members named Amanda I work as a manager and deal with sales and customer service. I must say I was very impressed with her manner and knowledge she managed to answer all my questions and reassured me that getting insulation done shouldn’t cause me any problems.

When it was announced that the price cap on gas & electricity was going to rise by 54% in April, I soon realised that there would never be a better time to have my home cavity wall insulated. A surveyor arrived from Insulating Homes who carried out a thorough assessment both inside & outside the property. A fibre optic probe established that the cavities were clear of debris & the property was suitable for cavity insulation. The number of meters needed to be filled was then estimated. Next the surveyor came inside the property to check the gas fire & lounge air vent plus condensing gas boiler off the kitchen. Finally signs of any wall dampness in each room were checked using a damp meter that might indicate a problem. Although this survey cost £39, it was the most thorough of the three I received & worth the money.

The surveyor recommended polystyrene beads as the best solution for my home & instructed a partner company called Advanced Eco to carry out the work. The only down side was that Advanced Eco took a couple of weeks to come back to me which was a little slower than expected. However Advanced Echo turned up on the stated day & insulated my home as agreed. All drill holes were made through the mortar, so virtually no brick material was lost. Most people would now have no idea from the outside that any such work ever occurred which is good.

The price quoted to me was reasonable & considerably less than that of a rival company which was excellent. The money saved paid for an electrician to fit a number of LED ceiling lights in my home, thus reducing my carbon foot print still further. All these improvements will now push my home from an EPC D to a C rating which is good for me & our planet.

In conclusion then, if you can afford to have this work done, do it as we all need to play our part in reducing our dependance on fossil fuels. The carrot is that you will gradually claw back your investment year by year & make your home a little more desirable to buyers should you wish to sell in the future.
