Scammers
Went into two seperate O2 stores to switch up my phone, no stock in first due to a warehouse issue but told would be absolutely no problem using the Switch Up service as handset was in perfect condition, still looked brand new. The second O2 store confirmed the same but again had stock issues, so I completed the switch up online instead... Huge mistake, received my new phone, factory reset and sent my old handset to Ingram Micro, then received an email about 10 days later saying I was not eligible for Switch Up as my phone screen was damaged... Offered me £50 recycle value, total scammers. Of course I said no and asked them to return my handset and I would return the new handset back to O2, and lo and behold received my old handset back in perfect condition, not a mark on it and no screen issues. After reading some reviews it seems this is common practice for them, I was one of the lucky ones who received my handset back without damage it seems. No idea why O2 continue to use the company.
Damaged my phone and didn't accept responsibility
Damaged my phone. I sent in my phone via O2 Switch Up, It was in immaculate condition no damage whatsoever.
I get told the screen is damaged and they would offer £90. I refused and I got my phone back and got it repaired through Honor, sadly because of Ingram's incompetence it voided my warranty and I had to pay £65 to get the repair done. Absolutely disgusting service by Ingram.
Don’t expect to get the quoted price. Mine was reduced from £180 to £0
I sent my iPad via We buy any Phone as I had received a very good quote. I then got an email saying that due to the battery being under80% and screen damage the quote was reduced to £0. I managed to speak to someone online who increased the offer to £10. I refused this and asked for the device to be returned. To be fair to Ingram, it arrived today.
I then decided to recycle the device via O2 recycle. When I completed the procedure it was going to be sent back to Ingram. I will not be sending the IPad back to them and I will look for a company who do not use them
Quick to take your Money but not…
Quick to take your Money but not actually have items in stock. Make you wait over a month then say sorry we don't have the parts and cancel the order. Very disorganised.
No issues at all
I was initially mortified after sending my phone in without checking the reviews. However, my experience turned out to be fantastic.
A couple of days after sending it, I called them, and their customer service was excellent. They confirmed my phone had been received and explained the next steps clearly.
About a week later, I received an email stating they would pay the full amount, which could take up to five working days. To my surprise, the payment was made on the third day, first thing in the morning!
I’ll definitely be using Ingram again in the future.
total disrespect of customers
Absolute joke, 8 weeks to repair a Samsung flip 6 and when they finally emailed me on the 18th of December to say it was repaired and would be dispatched to me, they just wait to dispatch... now the Friday 20th, almost Christmas and still not dispatched, but DPD label done on the 18th. guess with Christmas closure what's another 2 weeks' wait right... trading standards complaint here I come.
Avoid Ingram Micro For Amazon Warranty Repairs
This is a warning to customers of Amazon who are instructed to send their products to Ingram Micro under a warranty repair. Ingram Micro in my opinion are dishonest, and calculating in their service and responses, and should be avoided and reported to Amazon. They cited an issue with a product that I sent them that was never apparent before, and ignored the issue that the warranty repair was raised under. They then quoted a repair cost for the unknown issue that was more than double what the product was worth, stating that the repair was not covered by my warranty. I asked for my I unrepaired product to be returned to me, and once received, discovered it was in a worse condition than when I first sent it to them. Please avoid this company at all costs.
Dreadful company!
Sent my Zfold 4 to be assessed and reimbursed on behalf of O2 Recycle scheme. As others have stated impossible to get hold of via phone, and email address initially supplied was wrong one. They eventually got in touch with an automated mail to state phone had gone missing for a week and was damaged and almost worthless (trade in value was almost £600). Raised a claim via Royal Mail as I'd paid for special delivery, (next day by 1pm) and Ingram refused to provide any photos to back up my claim so Royal Mail refusing to pay out on claim, avoid at all costs!!
Extremely Disappointing Experience
I sent my PS5 (disc edition) to Ingram Micro for trade-in, and the experience has been awful. Initially, I was quoted £250, which was already lower than other companies, but once they received my console, the quote dropped to £100! When I requested my unit back, it arrived missing the accessories and a game disc that was left inside. I tried reaching out to their customer service, but no one took responsibility, and I ended up having to involve Amazon to get any resolution. Very poor service—definitely wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
Traded in my old phone
Traded in my old phone, recieved a reviewed quote on the 2nd November which said if your happy with this no need to reply sp.i didn't. Recieved another email on the 7th November saying I need to reply to accept the quote so I did that. Now it's the 14th November and heard nothing and still haven't received any payment from them. I've emailed twice asking when I will receive payment and had no response. You have the phone so where is my money Ingram? The worst communication and customer service I have ever received from any company!
Absolute disgrace - do NOT use
If I could score any lower than one star I would. They are an absolute disgrace. They are now 21 days overdue paying me for a recycled iPhone 14 and they do NOT reply to emails ( five sent and counting ) and they do NOT answer the phone ( engaged tone solidly for three days now ). Do NOT recycle anything with this third rate “business” use other recycling companies. Their incompetence and ineptitude is surpassed only by their indifference. As an aside, have tried complaining to 3 and they are not interested either.
DISORGANIZED AND CLUELESS
This company doesn't know its mouth from its foot. It is by far one of the most disorganized and customer unfriendly institutions in existence today.
They changed their billing system and broke everything. Suddenly auto payments that worked fine for years, no longer work. Suddently you have many unpaid invoices.
When you try to cancel your account, it's next to impossible to do so. I can't believe the FTC hasn't fined this company yet. But, I believe its only a matter of time before they're on the radar.
So disappointed in Ingram. Can't wait to be done with this poor excuse of a company.
I would not trade your mobile phone…
I would not trade your mobile phone through these as you will not get paid at all and have to wait on hold for 1 hour. I traded my phone with three and they haven’t heard back from these. I have all the emails and that isn’t enough.
Terrible service!
I entrusted my headphones (Order No. 80424073) to Ingramm’s customer service, following Bose's instructions, on September 6th due to an issue with the noise cancelling, as the product is under warranty and should be replaced. After shipping them via UPS, as instructed via email, I haven’t received any updates.
When checking their portal, I found that the headphones have been under inspection since September 11th, with no visible progress. I sent several emails to customer service over the past weeks and finally received a reply today, after about six weeks, telling me to contact Bose for further updates.
However, Bose informed me that the entire process is handled by Ingramm, and they only act as an intermediary. In summary, after a long wait, I still have no news about my headphones, nor do I know if or when I will get them back.
This is truly unacceptable service from both parties, with a lack of clarity and support from both Bose and Ingramm. I am extremely disappointed by this experience.
Absolutely awful company
Absolutely awful company. You have wait on hold for a ridiculous amount of time to speak to someone and the staff are extremely rude and unhelpful!
keep sending you back to three even…
keep sending you back to three even when they are fully responcible for trade in.

didnt pay my trade in of £400
Absolutely appalling customer service
Absolutely appalling customer service. Every time I order something from Ingram Micro, I regret my decision. Their entire operation is a great example of how to outsource badly. I wish I could give them zero stars; that's what they deserve.
Abysmal support
There is a good reason Ingram have so many bad reviews, its because they suck,
Signed up as a reseller with them and it has been nothing but constant issues, their ordering systems do not work properly and nobody at the entire company knows how to use them except 1 guy called Dan Thomas, and getting responses from him is like winning the lottery. He also likes to gaslight and claim he has responded and made himself available and is proud of his amazing customer service skills even though every response takes weeks and weeks of constant chasing.
The rest of the support dept are hopeless and if you contact them, they just cc it Dan, who you have already told them is not responding.
After months of failed orders not going through and nobody having any idea why, Dan finally tells me that it is a known issue with Google that is affecting all customers since April, yet for some reason he didn't tell me about this until July.
So I contacted Google Workspace support about this, and they have said there is no such issue.
