Very disappointing experience.
Very disappointing experience.
We travelled nearly two hours to provide our NIPT blood sample and were told everything was fine. A week later, we were informed that the laboratory could not obtain results from the sample and requested a repeat test.
We then attended another appointment at the Liverpool clinic, but staff were unable to obtain a blood sample, causing further delays. As a result, we lost valuable time during a high-risk pregnancy when timely testing was extremely important.
I received a full refund, which I appreciate. However, the process still cost us additional travel expenses, time, and stress, without receiving any test result.
Due to these delays and unsuccessful appointments, we had to arrange testing elsewhere. Unfortunately, this experience caused unnecessary anxiety at an already difficult time.

Secret gender reveal scan ruined.
I had a gender scan and reveal package with imaginatal and wasn’t best impressed honestly.
The scan experience itself was fine. Very nice venue. Felt comfortable. The experience was actually pretty good. The kept the secret of the gender during the scan but the lack of care to detail let it down after.
We was given an envelope with the gender inside to keep it a secret but the gender card was facing outwards therefore we could see it very clearly through the envelope so this was then spoilt for us straight away and we didn’t get the chance excitement of finding out when we wanted to with everyone else.
We was Then also given a confetti canon to use as part of our reveal which didn’t work.
The fact we paid almost £100 and the whole point of it for us was for the secrecy of the gender for it to be let down was very disappointing.
Luckily we had an alternative way of revealing the gender and the confetti canon was only extra as it didn’t work it would have also ruined that for us too.
I just feel very let down because of lack of care to detail.

Bad experience overall
Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience.
Firstly, the scan felt very rushed and lasted less than 10 minutes. For a growth scan, I expected a more thorough assessment. The measurements were not clearly explained, and the images provided were of poor quality and did not appear to have been taken carefully.
Secondly, the receptionist showed me where I could park and advised that I could park there after 7:00 pm. However, I received a parking ticket within 10 minutes, which was extremely frustrating. It would have been better if the receptionist had informed me that she was unsure about the parking rather than providing incorrect information. I would then have chosen to park elsewhere.
Overall, what should have been a positive experience became stressful and frustrating. In addition to my disappointment with the scan itself, I have now incurred a penalty charge, which has further negatively impacted my overall experience.

With regard to the scan, we would like to reassure you that our sonographers complete all required checks and measurements in line with clinical guidelines. Scan times can vary depending on how quickly the necessary views and measurements can be obtained, and once all required aspects of the scan have been completed, we do not scan for longer than clinically necessary.
We are also sorry to hear about the parking issue. We do have parking available at the back of the clinic, which can be arranged if staff are informed. However, we are unable to take responsibility for where visitors choose to park or for any parking penalties issued by third-party parking enforcement.
That said, we appreciate your comments and will review how parking information is communicated to patients to help avoid any confusion in future.

The lady who did the scan was blooming lovely. Gave us plenty of time. Really felt like we weren't being short changed. She tried really hard to get good photos and talked us through everything in how the baby was laying etc. She and the reception staff recommended coming back for a free rescan as the first set of photos weren't great. The 2nd set were amazing!
Reception staff super chatty and lovely.
The place was really clean and tidy. Lovely decorated.
They all seemed genuinely invested in us having the best experience possible!
Only downside is website says it has parking but it doesn't really. It's more side streets apart from one spot out the front that was awkward to get in and out of.
And free present included! So thoughtful!
