I had a great time shopping on Koop and really appreciate the platform! I found it was easy to use, and fun to thrift shop online. That said... as a serious shopper, I was ready to spend much more, but I ended up removing about $300 worth of items from my cart simply because I couldn't see enough detail both in the photos, and in the item description. For example, many times there was nothing included about what material the item was, and at one point I had to simply guess and ended up with something polyester when I had hoped it might be silk (that's on me, a risk I was willing to take).

When shopping secondhand, clear and thorough photos make all the difference. I tend to feel more confident to purchase when I see tags, fabric close-ups, measurements, and for purses (especially) I need to see the inside condition and how it’s organized (pockets, compartments, etc.). The lack of detailed images and info made me hesitate, and I didn’t want to risk being disappointed.

I’m also planning to send some of my own items to be sold through Koop, but I will do so with some hesitation. Without detailed photos and descriptions, I worry that my pieces won’t be given the justice they deserve... which could prevent potential buyers from purchasing them.

I still had an amazing experience and will definitely be shopping here again!! I just hope the platform will take this feedback to heart because I really want to continue to buy and send my items here in the most confident way possible! Thanks Koop!

Love this company! Amazing selection, great prices and the clothes ordered are part of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe now. Amazing customer service also! Respond within 24 hours and they are always so accommodating. Has become my favourite online store for clothes shopping!

Love the simplicity of the process - fill a box with clothing, send it with a label you pre-pay for, and they handle the rest. The only thing I would change - is that I’d like to receive a notification when my box of items is received.

Some of the items looked really different on the website compared to when they got delivered to my house, and I was disappointed with a few of the things that I purchased. It won't stop me from shopping there again though lol

I’ve ordered from Koop twice now and sent one box in for consignment. I’d give it a solid 4/5 experience.

Positives:
First order, everything I received was exactly as described. I got a great deal on some NWT swimwear and was super happy with the price. Free shipping on orders over $100 was a nice bonus!

Second order, 5 of the 8 items I received were exactly as described and I got a great deal on all of the pieces.

The consignment box I sent to them was processed within about 6 weeks and they accepted almost everything. Five items sold within the first 24 hours and my payout was really good.

Negatives:
Both of my orders promised a $20 gift card applied to my account, but I never received those gift cards/credits. I’d like them to be clearer on how to redeem the gift cards and any terms of use like expired date etc. It’s like they mysteriously disappeared!

The second order I received had three items not as described. Two items described as in pristine NWT condition were definitely not. They were both NWT but one had two stains on it (which will probably wash out so I’m not concerned about it) and the other had a ton of fabric pulls. The other item was listed as NWT but came without tags.

They made a bunch of errors in listing the consignment items I sent in. For example, marking items as women’s when they were men’s items, listing an item as NWT when it didn’t have tags, and listing youth items (which I didn’t realize they don’t accept) as women’s items.

Customer service is fast to respond, which I love, but definitely on the defensive side - the customer is NOT always right let’s just say 😂

Overall rating is 4/5 mainly because the prices are good, they have great sales and discount codes, free shipping on orders over $100 and are a great alternative to donating clothing - you can make a decent amount of cash consigning through them.

I’ll be buying & selling with them again for sure.

I love Koop! They make it so easy to clear out nice clothing from your closet, just pack it up, stick on the prepaid shipping label, and off it goes. The payouts aren’t huge for most items, but a few extra dollars every month definitely adds up.

What I really appreciate is how headache-free and efficient the process is. Compared to traditional consignment stores where you lug in bags, wait around while someone sorts through them, and often get a similar payout—Koop is way more streamlined.

Since they’re relatively new, I imagine they’re still refining the platform. I’d love to eventually see listings that include more product angles and brand names wherever possible. A few of my items were marked as unbranded when they weren’t. But overall, Koop is a smart, simple solution for anyone looking to declutter with minimal fuss. Recommend!

I am not a purchaser on Koop - I am a supplier. I have sent over 50 items to Koop - most of which appeared on their site for purchase. Some of which still have tags. Many, many have been purchased. But I will never send them items again. I have high quality clothes and shoes. Lots of designer items. Clothes that cost me hundreds of dollars a piece. But Koop sells them for very little and then gives the supplier a small portion of this. I am getting less than $2 for a swim suit. Less than $6 for Karl Lagerfeld and Nygard items. I knew it would be limited in the amount received and I am glad the clothes are seeing new use - but Koop charges you to send them items. And it isn't a small amount. It took me sales of over 25 items just to recoup my costs for sending the stuff in. Ridiculous. If Koop wants to keep having quality items available - they need to figure out how to compensate their suppliers better.

I purchased a kimono and the colour was listed as red and it looked like red in the picture but it was not red at all. It was more brown or brick or burgundy. Please fix your lighting when taking pics of your products. I would not have bought it because I was really looking for red. Also please list the length. It was a bit short.

Koop was a huge disappointment as a seller and a total waste of my time and resources. It took them almost 5 months to list my items - then they sold my stuff at ridiculously low prices. My last two sales were both BRAND NEW with tags and payout to me was $2.40 for dressy shorts and a month later - .95 cents for a body shaper with tags. They hold the money for 30 days. But I could not collect anyway - as they have a minimum $5 payout! Then they don't even cover the paypal fees - those are deducted as well. So All I can say is I HATE KOOP!

Here is a list of what sold since I sent my items in early March 2024 - Items were not listed on the site until June 27th - Koop had a big sale as of June 28th. Several items sold right away.

So All together it may add up to $50 But For 12 items - mostly all branded , Many New, some with tags.
I paid Aprox. $20 For the clean out Kit (To send it in & Return). I Am writing all this because People need to know what to expect!

So Stop Twisting the truth! I know it is hard to run a business but you need to be accountable.

Easy way to sell my clothes.

As a seller…. Took forever to get basic confirmation that they received my items. The pay out is super low! Their dashboard isn’t very user friendly. I was really excited by the concept but the reality is 👎 Probably okay as a buyer because prices are good though.

I love thrifting with Koop - I've made a few purchases over the years and it's so much easier than shopping in person. The fact that I can filter by my sizes and so many other categories means I save so much time vs thrifting in store!

Super quick and easy as a seller. I do wish the checked for labels a bit better as some items were marked as unknown but were from an upper brand and would probably sell for more if the brand was listed.

I really enjoyed my experience as a seller on koop. I just shipped the clothes I no longer wore and they did the rest for me.

Very pleased with my first purchase. I got some great deals and every item arrived clean, neatly folded, and in brand new with tags, or brand new without tags condition. I was very surprised. I’m already filling my shopping cart for my second purchase. I’ve also let friends and family know as this was such a great experience. Decent brands, excellent condition, and quality items.

As a seller, I have been very happy with Koop! I have purchased items in the past, individual items as well as rescue boxes and been very happy with my items. Now as a seller, using their clean out bags, I am able to earn on items that otherwise would have ended up in a landfill. Win Win!

I've ordered a few times and I am very happy with the choice of items and the customer service.
You can order with confidence knowing that if an item is not in good condition or if you receive the wrong item, which does not happen often, you get a quick reply from them and they fix things.
You can communicate with them either in English or French which I appreciate very much too.
The prices are very good and you get discount regularly. I highly recommend.

Awesome clothing! The jumpsuit is so comfortable. The t-shirt is cute. The skirt looks wonderful. It came all in time.
