I ordered a kitchen with transportation and assembly included, but upon delivery the delivery man refused to take the products to the house, stating that "he is not paid for this service".
At the time of contracting, we were NOT informed that delivery to the interior of the home would incur additional costs. I consider this a serious lack of transparency and correct information for the customer.
It is unacceptable that, for an order of such value, the customer only finds out essential conditions on the day of delivery. Frustrating, unprofessional experience and far below the expectations created by the brand.

I order a locker and a desk for my son , after one week I receive only the door of the locker, I don’t have any idea how they can be so trashy company. Shame on you for this kind of service

They have such big problems that they don't want to return the money they received, even if the order was canceled. Are they happy with any amount, because they are in a difficult situation? Poor quality furniture, abominable services
High priced furniture for the quality, abominable services...deliveries are a bad joke. Don't ever rely on the date and time for delivery it is more often postponed to a date of their convenience without any explanation or consulting you. In case you want to cancel the order or reschedule the delivery - the options are not available on the web page. You have to call the nightmarish answering bot.

Ordered, waited, nothing arrived but an email with a return, and after they issued another receipt and I had to take a day off to wait for the parcel again. I called customer services to ask why it was returned and then reissued, only for them to reply that they didn t had it in stock. So they sell stuff that they don t even have and then you have to wait for a month to get it. My order was on 2nd December, on 14th the cancellation, 15 th it was reissued and now my parents will receive their Christmas gift on 31st of December. Great job Ikea.
Also the assistant told me that this is how online shopping works, selling items that you don t have, this is outrageous as I m shopping online for years and this never happened. Shame on you Ikea

Ikea delivery and customer service is CRAP. Virtually non-existent. You order something and it does not arrive. You try to get in touch with them via email, you can't as they don't provide it. You try to call them and the robot says that Tha waiting time is over 1 hour. The bot is useless. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!

Delivered my kitchen furniture (boxes) and at the scheduled time, the team found out that one essential part is missing, because, as promised on the order, ikea wold announce when is back on stock.
I needed to order again the missing parts, rescheduled the setup and surprise: one day before got a call that is impossible to set it up, they got only 3 hours and they need 1 day.
Money are paid since 29.09.2024, kitchen is still in boxes.
Please try to outsmart me and other complaining here, and buy for another company, never ikea.

Ikea is quite decent if you buy directly off the shelf or go to their restaurant and eat a duck without breaking the bank. BUT, if you get into the details, there are procedures more complex than just picking something off the shelf (or digesting a duck on a bed of jam), you’re in trouble. If you want to buy furniture customized for your space, you’ll come into contact with staff and incomprehensible procedures (for reasons I don’t understand, I had to buy the kitchen drawers from the store and provide them to the Ikea installers when they come to assemble the kitchen). What? Yup... You have to do your homework so well that you can’t rely on the staff to give you alternative solutions or recommendations—it all feels very mechanical, like you’re at the post office (if you don’t know or don’t have a solution to your problem, then... you’re the one who’s complicating things, you’re a problem, non grata). I ordered and paid for the kitchen furniture and installation, it was scheduled, and for two days it was supposed to be assembled on-site. Not a single phone call, email, message, or pigeon was received explaining why the paid furniture didn’t arrive... Oh, I almost forgot, the installation was scheduled between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM—does one have to take time off work in Sweden to make room for Ikea? Let Ikea pay 500 euros per day for delays for not respecting their delivery terms and blocking people from their productivity. If you call to ask what’s up with the purchased goods and the installation, a lady who belongs to Artificial Intelligence calmly tells you that the wait time is at least 60 minutes. Yes, it falls within the realm of artificial intelligence.... I need to get to Ikea.... to solve the problem I created with my own money and time. Ikea, a store for shelves and duck with jam. That’s it!

Non-existent customer service
It is impossible to get in touch with them. I waited on the phone for over one and a half hours and nothing... no one even attempted to contact me back. The chatbot is useless and you can't write to them through an email to get in touch with an agent.
I cancelled a couple of orders and after over 10 days of waiting, I haven't received any notification or email about the refund process (not even an automatically generated one).
I like what they sell, this is a review strictly about the post-sale treatment which is non-existent.
Having worked all my life in customer service myself, this is honestly an embarrassing look for such a big and reputable company.
I am writing this in hopes someone will finally reach out and at least explain to me why am I not getting any updates on my cancellation request.
I would say, for other customers out there, if you want to buy from ikea do so, but do it in store where you can make sure your product will be undamaged and that you won't regret buying it later, because there will be no one to help you after that.

Crap services, beware
All is well if you can order online and don't need any of their help, but beware if you do. There is almost no way of getting in touch with them. If you call, you'll have to wait 30 minutes minimum, and that is if it doesn't get disconnected
Their chatbot is useless, don't even bother
Also, check and doublecheck their delivery service, you will almost always not receive your full order, and they could care less if you don't notice it right away
