A FUIR les achats sur internet. Service client MALPOLI et ATROCE. Raccroche sans cesse, des heures en attente, refus de transferer un appel au superviseur, et encore faut perdre DES heures pour rappeller et reprogrammer un livraison. Fraud actif- vous payer pour goods and services pas reçu. J'ai deja ecrit a leur HQ pour demander si fraud est le politique de ce business. Je suis deux doigts de les poursuivre en justice. I have worked in customer service for 14 years and I have NEVER in my life encountered agents as clueless and as unhelpful in their jobs . Clearly French customer service are not hired for their critical thinking nor logic skills. I am absolutely disgusted and will NEVER be purchasing from IKEA again.

fridge freezer

Just bought a fridge freezer from IKEA delivered on time only one slight problem one of the delivery guys took it upon himself to walk it across our concrete floor in the utility room bashing it In on all 4 corners I have complained and not even received an apology just a list of what I could do exchange/get a refund etc what a joke by some miracle after letting it stand for over 24hrs it appears to be working IKEA’s customer service is a disgrace we intended to spend a lot of money on furniture etc but not anymore we will be looking elsewhere disgusted this is not the IKEA I have known and loved shopping in over the years very disappointed.

Ektorp 2 seater sofa

Ordered a sofa on sunday. Confirmed with delivery date following saturday. Arrived on time. Good service. Sofa exactly as ordered. Easy to assemble...i managed easily on my own. Fabric covers are good quality.

IKEA France... Did not want to believe the review (silly me), but now I experience it first hand.

If I could do 0 out of 5 rating, I BLOODY WOULD!

IKEA= I know a lot of your items are cheap, I didn't know it reflects in your customer service? Your complaint/after sales/delivery system absolutely fails you. UNACCEPTABLE. Especially if I pay for the service... it's not like your delivery is free/cheap.

Ordered online, selected delivery day and cleared my schedule just to wait for all the items. Was promised a delivery time slot confirmation (latest 9 PM a day before the assigned date of delivery, obviously did not receive it), They didn't give me a courier tracking number. I only had the IKEA tracking number and I tracked my order using that via website it still says my order was scheduled to be delivered on that day.

Guess what? YEP, YOU GUESSED RIGHT, THEY DID NOT DELIVER IT. Was I notified for this missed delivery? NOPE. No attempts from text, email, or calls. Great stuff.

I had to chase them up from the website online chat, customer service line, after sale department... Yes, all they do is refer you from one person to another to another. Make promises, such as giving you an immediate callback, but of course not... they did not keep their promise. They all said "We can't track your order too"... great.

Again, I had to be the one who chases them up. I made three calls that day, two of them I waited 40 minutes for. After waiting that long... I was frustrated and I needed the item latest the next day, I canceled it and even they suggested a refund process. Absolutely, return my money, please.

I agreed and I asked "Will I get a refund confirmation via email/text? When?" and they said and promised I will get it on email once the phone call end "I am doing it right now," he said, did I get that confirmation? Of course not. By then the customer service line has closed, so I can't call them back. I waited for the next day.

I emailed their "after sales" department the next day via the website asking for the refund confirmation, got a reply on the same day to my surprise.

"My colleague created the cancellation request.

Don't worry, you'll get the confirmation once the order will be cancelled and also your refund.

So I waited patiently for my refund, they insist it takes 14 days so I have no choice but to be patient, right? WRONG.

Out of no where, I got an email saying I have 3 seperate delivery scheduled for tomorrow (04/04/2019)...

Yo, when I called your after sales team, they confirmed that the item were still in the warehouse/store. It was not dispatched. The fact that the items are being delivered tomorrow means.. You did not process my cancellation and refund, as you promised on the phone.

Refering to the email here, "My colleague created the cancellation request"... clearly not. The item is still being dispatched after my complaints. Clearly, whatever SYSTEM it is you have going on is failing you too.

Why do you have such a relaxed approach to your customer complaints? Especially when you hold their money? Big money too.

Let's put it this way... If someone owes you 300+ euros, trust that you will chase it up all the time, right?

Also, your online chat.... when your colleague can't answer a question, they just said "If you have been told the same information, then I invite you to be patient" and then end the chat! Great huh? I was not rude or anything please feel free to check my online chat history in your system. If you have problems understanding something/unable to answer the question it doesn't mean you just cut the chat off. Surely this is not how customer service works?

Feel free to track my order for this complain: 1023368652 (doubt that's gonna happen but hey I'm just proving my point even more huh)

Just get your items in the store and rent a van or Uber Van your stuff, or if you're filthy rich go get their 3rd party delivery (which I have a lot to say about but let's not slaughter IKEA completely today, I'll leave it for another day) avoid dealing with the humans... I hate to say all these but can you blame me for being so frustrated?

I did not mention the courier company name (you'll probably already know anyway) as I don't want them to be a part of this review. Because I think this is not their fault, it's IKEA's system or human errors that are failing me.

Never. Again.

i like others have ordered items online from the bordeaux store and been left completely fed up and disappointed with their lack of customer service- i have sent numerous emails to them regarding the lack of delivery - which was promised within 5 days and not one message from them- apart from a automated responses- i have contacted la poste and all they say is to contact the supplier- which i have been trying to do but they are ignoring me

IKEA in France!! Steer clear!

Customer of IKEA in the UK for over 25 years without a single issue.

Moved to France 5 months ago and IKEA in Bordeaux have ruined every online purchase we have made with them since our first one.

We have lost hundreds of euros because we didn't spend hours opening boxes to see if all the bits were there.

Their 3rd party delivery companies just bully and coerce you into signing paperwork ASAP

Appalling service

Ordered an IKEA sofa on line early in November and paid the extra cost for home delivery. Date slot for delivery was stated in the ordering process. SMS received confirming the delievery date and time slot by VIR transport. No delivery arrived and no contact from either IKEA or transporter with reason or another date. Phoned IKEA, duration of call 45 mins most of the time on hold, was given another date. Next date same happened, no delievery arrived, another long call to IKEA to chase, no apology a further date given again no sofa, in all 4 no shows and a total of 4-5 hrs spent phoning IKEA, no reason given as to what the problem was. I have given up now and hope to get a refund. Thought I would share my experience to warn others. Very surprised as had expected a good level of service from IKEA.

Very bad service.

We have an absolutely unacceptable situation with expedition department in Paris. We have bought a new sofa (decision we now horribly regret and do not advice anybody to buy anything at IKEA now) with the condition that they will fetch the old sofa from the apartment, service which we paid for. The new sofa has arrived, but they for some reason couldn't pick up the old sofa. They had to do it on 02.12.18, It has not happened yet to this date. As a result we have to sleep on the floor, since it is not possible to put the new sofa horizontally, due to the old sofa which takes the whole space of the apartment.There is no any sensible answer from the Customer service, where we had called numerous times.
Incredible bad!

Horrendous delivery nd customer service

IKEA - absolutely the worst experience in my life. Ordered two deliveries, a kitchen and a library; informed IKEA that delivery would need to be by a small van. Library delivery turned up in a big van(delivery company used was great) as they had not been told to use a small van by IKEA - ended up asking neighbours to help wheelbarrow boxes to the house. Kitchen was due a week later and never arrived. Phoned IKEA customer services who NEVER apologised and simply kept repeating that I would have to choose another delivery date - when I explained that my friends and builders would be away by that time they hung up. Eventually received another delivery some two weeks later - in a large van so no delivery. After another month and by having help on hand I eventually managed to get my kitchen to the house. IKEA's response was basically - "tough cookie, we have your money, now F off"

Impossible delivery.

Impossible delivery. SMS with narrower time slot did not arrive. Order did not arrive on scheduled day. I provided all instructions to contact me, including a sign on the door with my phone number. No message about what happend. Costumer service is impossible to reach. I heard similar stories from so many friends. I takes several attempts apparently, with Ikea not caring much. If you order, prepare for hassle.

We ordered the counter top from Ikea

We ordered the counter top from Ikea. They told us it will take 2 weeks from measurement to deliver. 2 weeks later, they called us and told us that we have to pay extra $30 for something, so we did on the phone. 3 days later, we called to ask where is the counter top. They said they didn't start until we pay the $30, so it will take another 2 week. Seriously. Now, we are with out kitchen counter for more than 2 weeks, can't cook, can't wash dishes. And our contractor cannot install the backsplash. This just ridicule, why can ikea told us earlier instead waiting 2 weeks to call. For $30, you make people live without a kitchen for a month. I have kids and family, this just unacceptable.

Do not accept warranty on a dash…

Do not accept warranty on a dash washing machine for a few days after date limit.
Unless the fact that this "Electrolux" machine, labelled Ikea, is well knowed for electronic card failure. The machine doesn't light on anymore.

I have just received an IVAR shelving incomplete

I have just received an IVAR shelving from IKEA but I am missing various pieces which are needed to assemble it. I have had an unbelievably unsatisfactory conversation with IKEA's so-called help line. They claim I should have known from the internet offer that I would need additional pieces to assemble these shelves (590.160.75). They are only supplied with one crossed metal support but as there are two sections they need two of those. No support pins for the shelves were supplied, so it is impossible even to start assembly. It does NOT say on the online offer that I would need additional parts to complete, What idiot company would supply a shelving kit without the essential parts required to assemble it. Obviously it is IKEA. I am, apparently, according to their help desk, supposed to make a 160km round trip (including Autoroute tolls) to my nearest IKEA to buy the additional cross support and shelf pins. and IKEA thinks this is acceptable. Well I don't. In addition the wooden parts were not supplied in a carton so that they have arrived dirty. A very unhappy IKEA customer.

Please do yourself a favour and never order anything from IKEA. Approximately three months ago I ordered a kitchen from IKEA, this involved driving two hours to place the order at the Murcia Branch, as I was informed that this would speed up the process. Paid for the kitchen in full and awaited for the delivery and fitting. THREE times there have been delivery appointments where they have failed to deliver without even a phone call. We have subsequently cancelled the order and are still waiting for a full refund!!! We have been promised on two occasions that the money will be transferred into our account, nothing!!! Avoid these people at all costs they are incompetetence personified!!!

I share the same experience of the 69% of customer who consider IKEA is ruining their brand image.

I share the same experience of the 69% highly disappointed customers of IKEA France. I have twice submitted a question regarding my broken IKEA dishwasher via their website. An automatic reply promised "Nous avons bien reçu votre demande, nous y répondrons dans les meilleurs délais." Now 19 days later not one single direct response to my question. Hardly "meilleurs".

My experience of IKEA products has always been excellent. When needed their Customer Service team in the Netherlands, where we used to live, they were always exceptionally helpful and responsive. The French team are clearly not.

IKEA must be employing staff to capture web base comments about their business. Indeed this site also provides a check box to communicate a review directly to the company. It is thus rather amazing that the IKEA central customer service group has not already taken action to improve this unacceptable situation in France. Such bad service is very damaging to the brand of IKEA.

End november 2017 we ordered online some seats.
We set up a delivery date on 6 december 2017 : no delivery
We made an other appointment on 27 december 2017 : no delivery
We made an other appointment on 3 januari 2018 : no delivery
We cancelled our order and till now 23 january 2018 haven't received our money yet. To us : Ikea.fr start to look and act like a criminal firm.
They don't answer emails, they keep you hanging on the phone for half an hour ... we made 24 phonecalls !
Never had such a bad experience in my life !

I HAVE now been waiting two months for an Ikea delivery and they are telling me it will take another month before they can deliver. Worst customer service we have ever received in or lives. Verging on criminal.

I've bought a kitchen from Ikea …

I've bought a kitchen from Ikea Toulouse the 28/09 2017, and part of it has to be delivered by a transport company of Ikea's choice, Girard Agediss, Portet sur Garonne. The big problem is that this company has promised to deliver now 6!!!!! times, still nothing. I was told that my order has been in their depot since the 16/10. I expected Ikea to be an efficient and serious company that would work with companies alike. This would surely never have happend in Sweden nor Denmark. Try to contact Ikea and you have to wait 1/2 hour ormore on the phone to get to somebody.
