Extremely poor delivery and customer service

Extremely poor delivery service. Wrong delivery on the initial scheduled date. Stayed 40 minutes on hold before reaching a customer service agent who cracked a laugh when I asked if I can get the rectified delivery on the same day. Waited another week for delivery, and (surprise-surprise) the delivered item was wrong again. Waited 50 minutes on hold again and gave up on reaching a customer agent.
This kind of customer service is unacceptable in 2017. Managing to screw up delivery twice for a 80 Euro service without anyone (Ikea or the delivery company) taking responsibility is just as infuriating.
I cannot stress enough to avoid ordering Ikea online/asking for delivery of their products.

Ikea France online service is horrible

Ikea France online service is horrible. Had appointment to deliver the product on Oct 9th, but nobody came, nobody contacted us. Trying every time to get contact with Customer service, every time needs to wait sooooo long and can not get connect with anyone. Still don't know how and when will receive my product.

Never turned up with the new kitchen on …

Never turned up with the new kitchen on the date they said. Never messaged, emailed or telephone. Delivery is now delayed by 2 weeks. 2.5 hours on hold on the telephone trying to get through, without success.

Just awful.

Really shocking service from Ikea

Really shocking service from Ikea. Delivery confirmed for 8.30-11.30 am, but it shows up at 16.00. Ordered 2 beds but one is missing a bed frame. No way to contact customer services since the entire company is on holiday (it was not a national holiday at the time)! Now stuck trying desperately to contact someone to sort this out. Impossible to get through via phone and the chat service is pointless as they just tell you to ring the number. Ikea should be embarrassed to put their name to this operation, it really is unbelievably bad. Will never buy online from them again.

Unbelievably awful.

There are no words to describe the experience with IKEA. Went to Montpellier to order complete dressing room. Presented designer/ consultant with full measurements. Chose all units, doors etc. He prepared plan. Arranged and paid for units, delivery and fitting at total cost of over €4000. Delivery arrived on time, but fitter unable to fit sliding doors owing to insufficient room height. Advised by fitter to change to hinged doors. Trying to contact IKEA a joke - a wait of 30 minutes to dreadful musack is frustrating, then cut off and have to start again. When finally made contact they agreed to change doors and collect sliding ones. When new ones arrived 2 weeks later and fitter arrived 4 weeks later to fit them discovered bottom drawers of cupboards could not be used as room needed for hinges on doors. Furious and distressed tried in vain to contact IKEA. Eventually they emailed and promised response in 72 hours. 5 days later, nothing. We now have a pile of unusable doors worth over €1200 and no idea what to do with them. IKEA your customer "service" in France is a complete joke. What do you expect us to do with all of this and why will you not respond to our complaint. Your consultant was incompetent in the first instance and the fitter caused damage while trying to fit the new doors. He could not have cared less. Where we go from here we have no idea, other than hiring a van and dumping the doors on IKEA Montpellier's doorstep.
You have been warned.

IKEA - Customer Service

customer number file is 22218652.
I bought a bathroom cabinet from Ikea in Toulon which was delivered on the 2nd May. Same day I notified IKEA with a photo to show that the back board was the wrong size. Two months passed and they finally sent a replacement part, however, it too was the wrong size.
I have sent 30 emails and full dimensions to show the back board is 16mm short but nothing.
It is now 3 months, not possible to phone IKEA customer service as the queue is so long. They are just so incompetent..

Scam, utter shambles, this people should be all fired

Ordered Euro 2000 worth of furniture, paid by bank transfer. No replies to email, impossible to reach by phone. After several tries to reach them finally got a response that they found payment 3 days later. 3 weeks later delivery scheduled - No delivery, no calls to apologize. next day spent on the phone. another promise to call back the same day 100%. Nothing. Called again 2 times, - "delivery will be next 2 days". 2 days. nothing delivered. We and our one year old baby is sleeping on the floor for 3rd. No furniture in sight.
