Customer support problems

Everytime a eon's elite skylander comes into cex I have to email the cex customer support due to the fact every single time I know of it has just been a singular series 1 figure. Last Saturday a eons elite eruptor came into stock and I emailed requesting to know in regards to it. I got my response Sunday evening completely misunderstanding my point bizarrely thinking I was speaking about the quality of the figure not the fact it was a completely different variation with different functions and pricing.

This was very frustrating for me as I wanted to budget and buy it before Monday and it could have sold out so this left me very upset, having to contact support every single time is extremely tedious and based off the fact about 10 of my orders have been wrong in the past

Then 2 entire days later I got a response once again fully misunderstanding everything after I HAD SENT A EMAIL explaining how ee figures were released three years after the base figures, they serve different in game functions and are priced differently

Only now did I get a response just commenting on the price and how the image is to resemble the base figure and completely misunderstanding everything which is extremely frustrating. Unsure if this is ai not getting it or if cex does not inform their workers how to handle items that they sell on their own website. Inconcpment and frustrating support.

I understand your concern regarding the differences between similar figures and the importance of getting accurate information before placing an order. I also recognise how delays and unclear responses can impact your ability to make a timely purchase. Your feedback has been shared with the relevant team so this can be handled more carefully going forward.

We do aim to respond within 24 hours. However, in cases where we need to check details with the store, there can be a delay, and during that time limited stock items may sell out.

To help with this, you may consider placing a Click and Collect order when stock is available in low quantity. You can check the item at the store before accepting it, and if it is not the correct variation, you can decline it at collection or return it within 14 days as an unwanted item.

In some cases, similar NFC figures can appear alike, and there may be occasional listing errors. We do review such feedback to improve accuracy and ensure customers are not inconvenienced.

You can also use the “Alert me when in stock” option on the product page to receive updates when the item becomes available again.

Sold a broken controller and refused to change it

Bought an xbox controller was a grade c so expected some scratches or marks. When it arrived the right joystick had the rubber hanging off and 2 buttons were sticking. Brought back to the shop and was told can't change my fault cause it's grade c. The controllers unusable, 50 quid down the drain. Won't be back

What was ordered was exactly what arrived 3 days later and the condition was also as described. Thos os the 2nd purchase one on line one in shop and both worked out well. No issues.

Disappointing Experience

Bought a game online and it arrived without the disc! When the actual game finally arrived it was so badly scratched it would not load on the console. Very disappointed with the customer service I experienced after I complained
