Excellent savings and customer service
Jake and Shae were both very helpful without being pushy. They found me the cheapest contract that suited my business. They were more than happy to give me time to think things over and called me back as promised. All my questions were answered during their calls and I'm delighted with the savings on future bills.

Saving by opting to fix early…
Having a small business I do like to save where I can. I've been dealing with Oliver for a few years now and he persuaded me to opt into a fixed term price early in Nov 2024. It was 5p/kWh cheaper than my current price. My renewal has arrived and I am still saving 5p/kWh for the next 2 years. So great for me £250 approx saving. Yep I'd recommend these guys. 👏

After some rather difficult experience our club has entered into an agreement with a provider using the services of Ideal Utilities. What made the difference was the service and support given by one of their agents, Jake Myers. Without his professionalism and good sense I doubt that we would have arrived with a satisfactory contract and solution.

Lacking Transparency!
Having read the reviews I'm surprised that i'm writing this.
I signed up for a 1 year contract for gas supply using this 3rd party. I normally take care of my own contracts. The rate offered was decent at the time and given the volatility of the markets I accepted a 1 year contract. I signed the 1 year contract and on I went quite happy. Sadly however the transparency in the contract was extremely poor. What I was actually signed up to was a 3 year smart tracker (no mention of 3 years in my copy of the contract) This only came to light following an in-depth conversation with the correct person from the supplier. This has lead me to believe that this contract was sold with one thing in mind and that was the commission.
Having spoken with a manager at this company who assured me that he would resolve the issue. He hasn't.
Edit - the contract was put in place by your colleague Jordan McSpirit on the 24th March 2023. Your investigation is inaccurate.
Edit - Very much still in a rolling contract with smartest energy if you wish me to post the actual document on here I’ll happily do so.

After reviewing the case, we can confirm that the contract in question never actually went live, and no supply ever transferred. We're sorry for any confusion caused, but we’d never knowingly misrepresent a contract – transparency and customer trust are extremely important to us.
