Many customers expressed significant dissatisfaction with the service received, often finding it to be a complete waste of money and time, with treatments not delivering promised results. There were also complaints about misinformation during consultations, unexpected charges, and a lack of accountability from the company when problems arose. Some people were dissatisfied with the staff, citing issues with professionalism, rudeness, and a lack of follow-up care, particularly after adverse reactions to treatments. Don't give them one penny

Don't give them one penny. They are predatory and refuse refunds for lack of service availablity. They cannot fulfill their own 'contract' to you. When I made a loan to them, they did not have an appointment for 5 months. When I showed up, they cacelled because the provider was sick. They never got me another appointment. I learned much later that was signing a no refund contract for 6 months. Renewable, but they want your credit card on file to charge you in case you're a no-show. They do not need my credit card when I have already fulfilled my obligation to pay. Since they refuse service without a credit card on file, they are making me vulnerable as a consumer. I've already read about others being charged without authorization. I consider this predatory for trapping people into 'no refund' even if no service is provided.

Poor customer service

Don't believe them when they tell you your contract provides a lifetime guarantee or reduced pricing because they will not honor it. I called for a laser touch up and was told they could not find my records because they purge them every 2 years so I would have to sign a consent form. It was not a consent form, but an entirely new contract that supersedes my original contract and provides for the higher pricing for touch ups, rather than the $1 pay per pulse. I followed up several times and even reached out to their corporate counsel who could not be bothered to reply to me. Instead, I was told that my only option is to sign the new contract. Poor business practices and failure to honor their own contracts. Go somewhere else!

I am giving Ideal Image 2 stars

I am giving Ideal Image 2 stars. It's like any financed contract- buyer beware. For me, I was OK with the $1500 (one filler and the rest in Botox at a reduced price that is supposed to be provided as a "Lifetime Member- with Lifetime Member fee...)
My issue is actually with the Willow Grove site. In particular the "RN" Laura. She is very pushy and VERY deceptive. Even though you may already know what you want as far as treatments, she will try to really push you into other treatments. That was my first experience with Ideal Image. I ended up getting more Botox units than I wanted to because she just kept saying she would do it, and wanted to "go to town.." But having had Botox prior, I kind of suspected that I would regret a couple of weeks after treatment. Which I did!! droopy forehead... ugh. I should have known to listen to my gut and not the initial act that LAURA provides in entertaining you with her life story (funny stuff but I digress..)
My second experience was a cancellation on the offices behalf due to an emergency of sorts with staffing. And I completely understood. Getting a new appointment proved to be very difficult- at least 3 WEEKS later.
My third experience (mind you I have $1500 tied up in treatments!) was rather great, I had an initial lip filler done- and it WAS NOT with Laura. I wish I had caught her name, but I did not. She took her time- was smart with the procedure, explained what she was doing and what to expect.
My last experience was today, again with LAURA. A very long story short, I had NO Botox done today and will not be going back to the Willow Grove PA site. I just do not trust her, or her abilities to provide cosmetic procedures.

Coolskulpting

Coolskulpting. Not worth it! Each provider you see will say you need a different amount of sessions, hardly see any results and never with only 1 pass of an area. If you pay in advance, it's written in very small print that you cannot get a refund! Terrible customer service and very difficult to get in touch with. Don't waste your money!!

Deceptive

Not helpful. Took a year and half to get a refund after I was told I wasn't eligible to be treated. Seemed like a scam.

DONT DO IT.

DONT DO IT.
I've held off writing this hoping Ideal Image would fix the issues I've raised with them, but it's continuing.

The practitioners are nice and do their job well however I have had the last 3 appointments cancelled within 24 hrs of my appointment solely bc "the provider called out". THREE TIMES IN A ROW. Had to argue with corporate about 2 months ago in order to schedule my last two appointments only to have received a call just now (3pm) that my 850am appointment is cancelled.

I've been told "technically you're considered completed treatment." When I paid as much as I did to have consistent treatments throughout my contract period, then have my provider cancel last minute multiple times in a row (not to mention the random cancellations between appointments), for someone to tell me "too bad you've been treated X number of times and that's good enough for us" is not acceptable. And given the hair growth, I'm well due for an appointment and would not consider this satisfactory for the amount I've paid.

Now it's near impossible to get my appointments scheduled bc of lack of providers (I assume). I've also been told multiple times my contract would be extended to allow me to at least do my last two treatments. Today when I called, they said they had no record of anyone requesting an extension--which only they can do on their end.

I would also mention I book my appointments multiple months ahead to make sure I can get there and the time slot I need is available. Don't bother because they'll cancel late and they wont have another opening for 2 months.

The "Lifetime Guarantee" isnt lifetime and you have to pay yearly in order to get a reduced price on services. The 'free service' that comes with it, you have a period of time in which to do it--and they dont tell you when that expires unless you ask or until it's already expired. I got screwed over on that because my skin tone wouldnt allow for any of the treatments they offered and while I was trying to sort out with them what I COULD do, it expired. The manager never answered me on my multiple emails/calls to get it resolved.

DO NOT TRUST this service and…

DO NOT TRUST this service and employees.
I am typing this here for other people to be aware of the potential traps before enrolling. Hopefully it can help more people.

It added so many dramas to my happy life and they make you lost trust on people. They only care about money not people.

They will try to get you to pay for any service they have, once you pay, there will be many follow up rules and such to get rid of their responsibilities once anything happens. Customers do not have any rights.

The service is terrible and it seems like they always had issues going on with customers from their employees' immediate reactions.

Back to half years ago, I ordered one basic service, it didn't look as right so I asked if there's anything that can help with it, they immediately acted like 'no it's not us, it's you, we told you about it beforehand.' When I was basically trying to communicate and find a solution to eventually make it better, my goal was to resolve this mainly than blaming anybody.
They scheduled another appointment with me, but it was horrible, the girl who was in that appointment acted like a high school bully with attitude, I spoke out multiple times if she can speak softer with nicer words and I am very much not comfortable with this because it feels like an argument, she acted worse not better.
It was horrifying, when I was worried about my look while this girl throws nothing but attitude. Eventually I asked 'I am not comfortable talking to you, can I talk to your manager'. She said, 'No, you are not going to talk to my manager.' After that appointment, I cried hard in my car at the parking lot outside of their clinic.
I called their service again to talk about how bad this is, they scheduled another one, at the time, I already was very much tired of the whole drama and wanted it to be done. So at the 3rd appointment I just said yes and yea you are right.
At the time I thought it was just a one time thing, so I didn't leave any reviews for it. After a half year, I called back for membership free gift, they told me no I can't do it because it was expired because I had to use it within 90 days after the enrollment. I enrolled back to December and now it has been 180 days. That was really disappointing because when I had the first consultant call with a lady, she introduced me about this gift, I clearly told her I want to do cool toner and if I can do it in the summer and she said yes. So I called back during the summer as I expected, now they told me it was already gone. Why did the employee told me it is okay to do in the summer then if it will be expired within 90 days? I questioned them about this, they said they apologize for the miscommunication but there's nothing they can do.
So they basically meant that yea our people did mistake but you have to take it.
I recorded the whole conversation as I do not trust him anymore since the treatment I had with them incase anything happens again.
Def never try this service, it's a spam.

If I could give a zero I would

If I could give a zero I would. I called to make a consult appointment, they couldn't get me in so did an online consult. Long story short, I told them what I wanted they gave me the price, they approved my amount, go in for my filler appointment and it's not even for what I consulted about. I called to get refund for my fillers and was told they don't refund they credit for future services. #1, they shouldn't charge your account until the service is rendered and #2, it's my money, if I don't want service, I shouldn't have to pay for it. TERRIBLE place to go for anything. I wish I had gone to a different spa. Their spas are so boring and not welcoming. DON'T USE THIS PLACE FOR ANYTHING is my recommendation. You will REGRET. Wish I had done some reviewing prior.

I payed almost $2400 for a treatment

I payed almost $2400 for a treatment. Ideal Image cancelled my appointment b/c the nurse had other obligations. When I asked for a refund I was told to call head office. Head office never returned any calls. Called again today and was told all of the Canadian salons were closed two days ago. When I asked how to recoup my money, they hung up on me!

I signed up for laser hair removal in…

I signed up for laser hair removal in 2020 and paid the amount charged. Right from the beginning things did not add up. I was told I paid for so many sessions, then was told I paid for an amount of time to get as many sessions in as possible. I told them they never disclosed that information. They told me there is nothing that can be done. Fast forward, I have been going for touch ups and was told I was a part of the lifetime plan. I was paying $40 per session. Today I called to make a touch up appointment and was told I do not have the lifetime plan and would have to buy it for $299 then pay $75 per session. They completely make it up as they go along. I would not recommend this facility. They also quoted me $2185 for bikini area but $3272 for both bikini and legs. Nothing makes any sense at this place. Stay far away.

Scheduling is a nightmare

Scheduling is a nightmare. I’ve been going to the same technician for 8 years. Now I have to call for an appointment and they only have 7 days in advance. When I call, it takes forever because the receptionist has to manually look up appointments. Then I am offered one appointment in the middle of the day for the following week. If I can take it, they tell me to call back tomorrow. It is a nightmare. I should be able to book an appointment way in advance to fit my schedule. I am the PAYING customer. Should not have to jump through hoops. Even tried the online booking and it doesn’t tell who my appointment will be with and there was only one slot available. If I hadn’t already paid for a plan, I would go elsewhere. If you are a new client!!!! Go somewhere else. Trust me. .

SCAM Dont give them your credit card

SCAM. They take your money for services, dont answer the phone to schedule the services, and then when you finally get through they tell you they are booked out for more than a month. Then when you ask for a refund they dont return your money and you have to file fraud charges with your bank. STAY AWAY.

Like almost every one of the other…

Like almost every one of the other reviews of Ideal Image I found this company to be totally greedy, unresponsive (when asking for a refund) and unprofessional.
Updated on 4/26/23: After about 2 weeks I received a call from Jillian in Customer Relations at Ideal. She offered to honor what I had been told on the phone. This was one of two outcomes that was acceptable to me (the other being a full or partial refund).
So, although i am still disappointed with the response I originally received when I complained, I am happy with the final outcome.

I was talked into some Botox and…

I was talked into some Botox and fillers with Ideal Image. It happened so fast!!! Now I have an appointment to have basic fillers and Botox so I go in for my first appointment to do the Botox. The Botox first of all didn’t work at all. Second of all I gave me a bad reaction I decided not to go through with any more Botox so I decided to try the fillers because at that point I had asked the staff at ideal image if I could get a refund because I had such a bad reaction to the Botox and I am just not sure about This product but ideal image said no you cannot get a refund of any sort and then I would have to still pay it back. Well here I am paying for some thing I don’t use. I’m very upset with this company don’t use them. It’s a scam with promises of beautiful, beautiful skin. I have had nothing but bad reactions to these products and I just don’t see how this company can rightfully keep my monies with work that has not not will ever be used..🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️. I need help trying to break my contract with them. Bits been a complete nightmare with me still having to pay monthly for services I will never use! Help!!! Boulder, Co

Warning!

Warning!
I started using cool sculpting and cool toning about 8 months ago. I thought it was odd that they do not measure your fat % by calibers or any other fat % testing tools. However, I figured I would trust them when they weighed me and took picture. I did one round of treatment and saw no results. They said it takes time to work. I did a second round and no results they said it takes time. After the second round I learned of a side effect that can occur called paradoxical adipose hyperplasia (PAH) which hardens into an unnaturally shaped lump. They never told me about this during the sales pitch of course not. I have all the pictures throughout this process and my stomach fat did not change, the stomach fat actually got harder. I worked out during this process and put on muscle mass throughout my body, but the stomach did not change at all. I gained weight through muscle mass and this is how they denied my PAH, and I said its not a weight reduction process, but a fat reduction process. They also will not refund my money when there is no evidence of any fat reduction in my stomach area. I now know why they do not use fat % tools, because it allows them to use your weight and pictures as a subjective tool. This cost me $3,500 for no results.

Almost funny.. if I hadn't come home with wrinkles😭

I had a consultation.. free. She was great. However there was talk of a loan , $ payments and running my credit. Luckily ( and this is a first) since I had my identity stolen they couldn't run my credit ... I'm actually glad that came in handy for once. And fortunate not to have a loan. I never got as far as paying them. With age comes wisdom. Heres why I say that.
I showed up today for my appt, which wasn't easy . Having to change my schedule drive over an hour each way, being nervous because this is new to me, this ate up my entire day and evening. When I arrived the nurse remarked, so your getting Botox? Another thank God because NO . I WASN'T! I explained I just wanted filler. Which I had told each person and emailed that fact as well as texted it during confirmation of my appt. Well, no one knew this they claimed. AND they didn't have an hour to do filler. If that's what I wanted I couldn't get it done. I definitely do not want Botox and knew they had 3 oPen appts today still not filled which were around the time I was there .. right before and right after .. Certainly you can get together an hour from those open appts .I got a big no. . and they also had open appts all day Tomorrow . Saturday not filled yet Ok she said we can't do it today. Thanks .. that's great! Unbelievable.. mad , but Ilet it go. I explained I knew she had severely open appts for Saturday how about we try that? Before she could check the schedule I have to purchaset the filler ($ 700.00) then she could look for appt for me. What? Well by now I'm furious. Keeping cool though. I said I'll tell you if I don't know when you can do it in not purchasing the filler. It took allot for me to arrange today and with my schedule it's going to be difficult. So wouldn't you know it she didn't have an actually appt untill 2 weeks from now. What happened to all the open appts you had a couple hours ago
it's the same person doing both procedures. So what the heck? I would be out 700 bucks and still not be done. Or even close to being done. Mind you I thought I was coming home today with a finished product. So I didn't waste they money because I'm smarter then then.lol. but I wanted 5 hours of my time today and 3 hours during the week because they also had cancelled my appt yesterday.. yes that's right. And came home with nothing butfrown mine.
THANKS IDEAL IMAGE
I GUESS I WAS LUCKY AFTER READING YOUR REVIEWS .. I COULD BE IN WORSE shape.

This company is terrible!!!

This company is terrible!!!! They make you sign a contract for any service, but if you are not satisfied for any reason, they will not refund for any unused sessions. They hide behind the contract. What company does not provide a refund for unused service? Rochester Hills, MI is awful. Had 4 appts scheduled; had to reschedule 3 different times because of machine breakdowns and staffing issues. When I went for my 4th appt - the facility was locked and no one answered the phones. Paid $5,000 upfront and want a refund for unused sessions. Took customer service 2 weeks to call me back. They will not provide a refund. They said they would send me a copy of the contract, so it would save time to give to a lawyer. Looking to join a class action lawsuit. Talking to a lawyer in a couple days.

Congratulations you are approved for…

Congratulations you are approved for $1732.00 EZ1 !!!! That is their way of saying you are not approved for their interest free financing. Can you tell by that statement that that is what it means?
Here's another.." yes we have that appt. time .. " " ok if not I will not want to do it I have that whole week off."
"Yep when you are ready to sign the approval I will make sure the time is still there ... ok it is!!! Go ahead and sign now... I sign and then she says ..." so we have this time and this other time..". ""what happened to the time you said was there.? She ignored my question. She repeated we have this time or this time. Well one of the times was just 30min difference so I just said ok. " But 3 important things changed 2 times, The price, the time and the financing. So the 18 mos of no interest was not approved or given or even "a sorry.. you were not approved for.." so I think that was never available. It seemed dishonest. " Do you know what your credit score is?" Should she ask that? It never said it was because of my credit. The application decision never even addressed it. I have plenty of good credit it is not 18 mos of no interst. My impression is that everything changes from the scheduler to the consult on zoom. They made a poor impression for reliability. I will see how good the results will be since it is non refundable.
