I went to ideal image in March for cool…

I went to ideal image in March for cool sculpting, which costs $4100. The services where going fine until my 4th treatment. On my right side, the tech had stated that she don't believe the treatment took because my side wasn't as cold as it should be. I asked her what does that mean .. she stated that if the treatment don't take then they will file an insurance claim and I'd get a free treatment. So she goes out to report it to her supervisor.. then comes back in and day that her supervisor said the treatment took.. how the hell would she know? She wasn't in the room. So I emailed them for a copy of her statement? Never got it.. I went back for my last treatment 1 months later... I asked for the statement in person, all of sudden no one knew what I was talking about. So now my right side is noticably fatter than my left side. I will never advise anyone to get services from them. This was the Fairview South Park location.

High pressure spamming

I never got services from them, but I did fill out an online form to learn more. They send increasingly urgent emails for weeks, trying to pressure me and implying I was already a customer. I found this unprofessional and not how a legitimate medical practice usually behaves. I just got another email of too-good-to-be-true specials. I decided to check some reviews first. Glad I did. They are going to spam.

They just take your money

They just take your money! Horrible experience! Laser removal didn't work, and even though I kept expressing my concerns at each visit, I was told to "wait longer." Finally, after several treatments, I demanded they do a medical review (which took 5+ weeks.) Only to find out that I actually was not a candidate for laser hair removal, and I was out $1000. Go somewhere that has good customer service, and will back up there work!

Just finished treatments and after…

Just finished treatments and after spending over $2000 I am still having to shave every few days!! My plan was timed so my strongest treatments would be during the winter months since I am outdoors all summer. Ideal Image ended up canceling both of my winter appointments and were unable to reschedule them without me having to take days off from work! My local Ideal Image felt confident that corporate would honor my 2 cancelled and not rescheduled appointments since they were the fault of the company. One was cancelled due to equipment failure and the other they decided to change hours closing at 6 and my appointment was for 6. My local Ideal Image submitted my 2 lost appointments on 2 different occasions and both times my claim was rejected. Money wasted since I am still shaving both treated area just weeks after completing treatment. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. There are too many other options for laser hair removal. Save your money, or spend your money with an honorable and trustworthy company. Very disappointed in Ideal Image!

Annual fee

Wish I would have checked the reviews prior to signing up. Biggest complaint is the fact I was sold the $299 lifetime membership, but in fact it's an annual $299.
Called to cancel the 'annual lifetime membership' and I was told they couldn't give a refund b/c I found the charge on my account after their 30 day timing.

If i can give 0 stars i would

if i can give not star i would. first, i went only 2 times for the hair laser removal and the pain was tortured. I even use the numbing cream. that didn't work, I pay 2900 and when we ask to have the remaining treatments transfer to my daughter, they only want to give her $1571 you going to tell me that my only two sessions where worth $1339 when I still had several more treatments to do? I ask for refund they said no, I ask to work with me they said no. And now you only want to transfer 1571 for what??? that is not even for a full treatment. Honestly i am not one to leave reviews, but this place really did a number on me. STAY AWAY!

Shady business

Shady business. They will get you a loan and take your money, but keep putting you off and rescheduling your appointments for months even though they are never busy.

Beware of shady practices from this…

Beware of shady practices from this company. They take your credit card and charge you a membership each year whether you want one or not. If you don't cancel within 30 days of the charge you are out of $299.00. I called on day 31 after getting my credit card statement. They refuse to reimburse you and you get absolutely nothing for the membership. Stay clear of Ideal image.. I was going to get additional services that would have cost well over $299 but will never give them my business again. Stay Clear. Find a trustworthy company

Deceptive Sales Techniques and Misinformation

If i could leave Zero stars i would. The rep lied to me and ignored my current condition to still sign me up for Coolsculpting knowing that I am not an ideal candidate. I was looking for results in time for an upcoming Wedding and the rep assured me that it wasnt a problem. After I signed up they had no available appointments to get my treatments and results in time, and I found out that I wouldnt see the results I was desiring based on my weight/BMI. I tried to cancel within 2 days of signing up (with no services rendered) and they are cold and dont want to assist or talk to me. They got the full amount (through financing) and don't care if they perform the treatments, meets my goals, or gives me any results at all.

They are deceptive, coercive, and try to pressure you into deals with limited information other than their lies. I recommend doing some research and staying away.

Waste of time for me and loss of money for company onwer

It was horrible they didn’t have a credit.card machine so I can get service . I drove 45 min for her to tell me it was stolen when covid hit and other one was not hooked up . I’m so disappointed I could not get my treatment. They don’t take cash also .I called corporate and explained Everything and one of the top people didn’t even know what type of payment they took . She would not give me a name of someone higher to talk to . I called back and did talk to another lady . I explained how the ceo or the owner should know how much money they just lost and how I was told this just happened with credit card machine weeks before this and she still never took care of it . I am a small business owner and if this was my company i definitely would want to know . My appointment alone they lost was over 500 dollars . I did not ask for nothing free and any type of treatment for free . I just want to let this company know what’s going on in there Rochester location. I did ask for the email for the ceo but was told I could not get it and I could look it up myself. I honestly know that I am a nobody to them but again the company staff should know
how they run a place because it shows so much . I think there prices are great and just wish the people that own the place see this and how much money they are loosing . If my employee ever was to do this and loose me out of money and my customer service happiness there would much changes going on in my company. I also would definitely thank the person myself who took the time to bring this to my attention of what’s going on in one of my locations. We all make mistakes but it’s how we handle . Again I don’t want anything for free but if anyone gets service there when they say they take all major credit cards make sure they can run it . The cards with chips also have to had numbers on it. . The Rochester location one machine was stolen and one was not set up and it was told it would take a while to set up . I felt like this location had this issue when covid was going on that should have been fixed by now . There is no excuse why it was not fixed and I had to wait about 45 minutes for her to try to fix her machine . They told her it take a while so I could basic get something like credit care and take a hit on my credit . It was a hard hit and I refuse when I was told I could use my card and even offer to go to bank to pay for it . They knew I just worked 17 hours drove 45 min just to sit there and they was not able to use there machine . Waste of my time and waste of appointment that someone else could have had . The company also lost out on money .please call before making appointments there to make sure they are able to provide a service you took the time out of your very important day .

I signed up for cool sculpting services…

I signed up for cool sculpting services & the outcome was terrible. The procedure disfigured my body front & back. When I came back for my follow up I spoke to Brittany who put me on a scale & said I haven’t gained any weight since I started & she started she used the same scale that was used when I first came in. She may have but the previous day before I was at the Dr office & their scale stated I gained 7 pounds. Then she asked was I not satisfied I told her NO & showed her my back which had more fat on each side than I came in there with. She goes out the office then comes back & states I have something that only 1 percent of people of my color get & started I can get $10 000 or get it removed. I told her I want it fixed.
The next couple of days I received a phone call from her asking me to come back in to see a Dr. so I did & the Dr confirmed there was something wrong & they would take care of it.
I then received an email from them telling me that I need to locate a surgeon to do the job. I explained that is not what I understood. She stated that is what needs to be done. I asked her where does she think I’m going to find a plastic surgeon at.
I then later received a email asking for a follow up. I advised I was still looking.
Later I received another email from a Robert Barr stating
This is to inform you that your file has been transferred to me for further handling. Please submit you quote to my attention or let me know the date of your appointment.
I’m not sure why I haven’t received a call instead of email.
But then I noticed I received another email from Robert Please stating please submit your quote within the next 5 days or your file will be closed.
At this point. I’m wondering if they think that I don’t have a Life.
I then submitted a return email advising that I haven’t still located a Dr. so I’m waiting for a response back. But I think I will be trying to locate a lawyer for them due to k ow my front areas have taken a disfiguration. Will see what that outcome has. Oh and also I was having breakouts for moths. I even contacted them to see if anyone has has this effect y it was so bad I went to an allergist, had me take shots also allergy patch test.

Beware before you give them money... you won't get it back!

I was rushed through an online consultation and rushed through paperwork for a loan online so that they could get me an appointment within a few days. Instead ended up with an appointment 6 weeks later. When I had financial difficulties in the meantime and canceled my appointment, I was told no refunds, it's in the contract. I was on the phone with customer service Abigail Zinkl for 42 minutes, and she just kept repeating that there are no refunds, it's in the contract, it's our company policy. She spoke in a robot-like tone, like she says this all day long, every day. I begged her for a refund due to my financial hardship that has developed, and she refused, for 42 minutes. I had the idea to do something nice for myself for once, and they have turned it into a nightmare. I said I plan to call corporate, she replied, "I am corporate."

Scam

Scam! They make you pay before even seeing you. Then no refunds! I’m out $1700 because of this scam. Do not waste your time or money for the “free consult”

Retail gimmick

The company claims that they're giving a 50% discount and if you get membership, that's an extra discount. But, this is not true. The cost ends up being the regular price. I worked in retail where they increased the price and did pretending to give a sale discount, only to bring the price to original price. This is a retail gimmick and not trustworthy!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I was lied to on a couple different accounts by the sales agent who sold me the Ultherapy treatment for chin and neck. I spent nearly $2,000 for the treatment. I was told I could finance the treatment with ZERO interest. After the sales agent took all my information, it turns out there was interest. Not only that, I was promised the payment would be an even $300 a month, in the last 5 months more and more interest keeps going on my payment. So I was lied to to make the sale basically. On top of that, I was told it would take one treatment and I would see amazing results. Not only did I not see ANY results nearly 6 months later, I actually feel like my chin and neck got worse. The sales agent went above and beyond showing me images and discounting the treatment, but nearly 6 months and $2,000 I've had zero results and now I'm forced to continue making monthly payments that are more then what I signed up for. Extremely dissatisfied with Ideal Image, I will be going on 4 other review sites to make this statement seen by more people. All and all, don't go to ideal Image, place is a scam.

I wish I read the other comments before…

I wish I read the other comments before falling into their trap!

The lady who did the consultation with me kept convincing me to click (next) and click (I agree) and did not warn me that once I click on agree, there is no going back!!! And all purchases are final, and no returns or refunds. I called the next business day to cancel, and I was shocked that they will not refund my plus $5000, even with a fee.
I do not recommend Ideal Image to anyone! They mislead you and convince you to click yes, click I agree without mentioning that we're going to get your money and will not refund you even if the service has not started yet!!! This is ridiculous! I will make sure to mention that on Ideal Image Social Media over all platforms.

This company cannot improve because…

This company cannot improve because they are scammers. They make their money out of bamboozling young women into signing contracts that they don't understand, and end up with a debt of thousands of dollars before receiving any services, and remains a debt whether they decide to receive service or not. If the service is horrible you cannot get out of the contract. This happened to my daughter who turned 18 5 days before signing a 15-page contract that she was asked to review in the half hour zoom meeting. She was told that if she didn't sign it she would lose the awesome discount that this woman was offering her then and there. $2,000 out of her college fund because she was bamboozled into signing something she didn't understand. The person on the Zoom call who convinced her to sign surely got a hefty commission.

WORST experience

I have been forced to reschedule my appointment 4 times because of issues on their end. I have paid thousands to get my laser hair removal and all my hairs have grown back and at this point I'm not even sure if the treatment is doing anything. It has been half a year since my last treatment and you're supposed to be getting them every few weeks. They've also been cancelling my appointments just 2 days before the appointment and asked if I can travel to a different location hours away. The amount of times I've had to rearranged my schedule just to squeeze this appointment in is ridiculous. I've already contacted customer support and they've cancelled the appointment yet again.

Very UNSCRUPULOUS company

Very UNSCRUPULOUS company. When Ideal Image first purchased a lifetime laser hair removal package in 2007 for $10,000. There was no annual renewal package and I had Laser Hair removal for several years through 2012. I recently tried to get more laser hair removal on 7/28/23 and I spoke with a very aggressive receptionist on the phone who told me I had to sign another contract within 3 hours in order to secure my appointment. The contract now requires annual renewal fees (without even specifying the amount of the fee) for a supposed Life-Time Agreement. I refuse to sign a new contract and my old contract should still be in force. This is an extremely UNSCRUPULOUS and GREEDY company. I would not recommend. Olivia Kalu
