Booked with Iconic Spaces through Airbnb. After being asked to pay for parking via WhatsApp my Airbnb booking was cancelled It was recommended I booked direct with Iconic Spaces which I did. I then contacted Airbnb who told
Me the booking was cancelled due to trust and safety issues. I asked for a refund for the booking and parking but was told it was not refundable. I was not prepared to pay a £250 security deposit based on other reviews of this being withheld and also another story about Airbnb being cancelled last

Would not recommend booking with this company.
Before check-in, you are required to provide your credit card details and pay a £250 security deposit. If you do not do this in advance, they threaten to cancel your booking.
What was particularly disappointing is that they do not simply place a hold or pre-authorisation on your card. Instead, they actually take the £250 from your bank account, charge an additional £4 processing fee, and then hold your money for up to 14 days after your stay before returning it.
In our case, the deposit was not returned automatically and required repeated chasing before it was refunded. After many years of using Airbnb and similar accommodation providers, I have never encountered a host or management company that not only takes a security deposit but also charges guests for the privilege and then delays returning the funds.
For a one-night stay, having £254 removed from your account and tied up for two weeks is unreasonable and significantly increases the real cost of the trip. The whole process left a very negative impression and overshadowed what should have been a simple overnight break.
Potential guests should be aware of these terms before booking.

Would not book with this company. They also advertise on AirBNB- they cancelled a booking less than 24h before check in. Awful to communicate with.

Stay far away from this company. They are unethical, deceptive, and predatory. After my travel companion broke their knee, I attempted to cancel our booking. Their website explicitly offered me a "Free Cancellation" option, which I selected. Instead of honoring it, they charged me a £59 fee anyway.
​When I challenged this, their customer service was appalling. They refused to refund the fee, and when I told them I’d just keep the reservation and go alone, they told me I couldn't because they had already re-rented the apartment. They are literally profiting twice off the same room on the same night while refusing to honor their own website's promises. Do not trust them with your money
