Genuinely a great business to deal with, Mark is fab and is always quick on responses and nothing is too faffy. Placed an order a few months ago and he was happy to keep it on hold until I was ready for delivery, it was no trouble. As soon as I was ready it was delivered within days! It’s always scary paying such a large amount for something you can’t see so I’m always a bit sceptical of ‘am I actually dealing with a real person here?’ But yes, you are. And I highly recommend them.

The customer service was excellent, Mark was very accommodating. The day bed, which I ordered was true to the advertised spec and excellent quality. The delivery date was exactly as confirmed and the packaging of the item faultless. I would thoroughly recommend Iconic.

I’m beginning to feel duped. Is this a real company? I thought I’d done my research but I fear this is a scam. Over two months over due, little communication, no explanation. And obviously, no furniture.

I was very happy with my chair however if I had waited a week it would have been £500 cheaper as a flash sale came up.

I expressly asked if any discounts were available and was told that was the best price.

This kind of tactic always leaves a negative feeling I find.

I am delighted with my new Eames replica lounger and ottoman , the off white leather is beautifully soft and the wood veneer is a lovely subtle Matt colour which matches the chair perfectly. A truly iconic affordable piece of furniture. The chair is solidly built and so comfortable. I thoroughly recommend this product and Mark for the impeccable service.

I was considering giving 3½*, rounded down to 3* but after all the drama is over and I am left with a stylish Eames lounge chair, which looks good, I decided to give 4*. Leaving future buyers to upgrade that, when they find the following short comings have been corrected.

I was unsure about buying from an unknown Company, a six hour round trip away, without being able to view the product, for more than a £1,000 (always use a credit card), with no references and money upfront.
There are also plenty of competitors, many with lower prices but mostly with poor reviews. So, I was swung by the great review profile that Iconic has on Trustpilot.

The Sale
Mark, the owner, was pleasant enough and did the best he was able. He assured us that his Chinese factory produced a superior quality product. However, he did send out some leather samples, attached to a random piece of paper (not quality exuding) and had no wood veneer samples at all, only photographs.

The delivery
Delivery time from the factory was as quoted. Despite confirmation, the local delivery arrived one day early. This could have resulted in a soaked/ stolen chair. I was left to dispose of a palette, which was indeed stated on the website.

The packaging
Was spectacular- think gift wrapped china. I thought perhaps they were in the wrong business.

The self-assembly
This should have been straight forward. Definitely a level down from IKEA self-assembly; mostly as a result of low production design.
I struggled, for an unnecessary hour, and when I finished it was wrong. Referring back to Mark, he was somewhat at a loss. The problem stemmed from 2 of the instruction drawings, showing the screws, which were not correct, while another one was OK.
As a Graduate Engineer, with a lifelong career behind me, I reckon I knew what I was doing and I tend to follow the instructions. I then had to dismantle it and redo the inflicted errors. Very avoidably irritating.

The chair
Once the above was over, you could not tell the aggravation within the chair. It is comfortable, good looking and with no obvious signs that it is about 8 times cheaper than the originals on sale. A direct comparison may show up some differences but that choice is up to the buyer.

My much longed for Eames Lounger and Ottoman arrived this week, delivered on time and extremely well packed. There were even cloth gloves supplied to handle and polish the chair. The quality is outstanding and far beyond my expectations considering you're buying something you haven't actually seen. I would definitely recommend Iconic Interiors.

I am very particular about buying stuff. I appreciate not only masterpieces of design, but exquisite quality of materials and manufacturing too. My first piece from Iconic Interiors was a Le Corbusier LC4 Chaise Longue. It is superb, and I am delighted with it. On the strength of that, I ordered my next piece - a Barcelona Chair. It too meets my highest expectations. Therefore, on my immediate experience of these two pieces, I have no hesitation in recommending Iconic Interiors, and Mark in particular, for having sourced manufacturers of the calibre that these classic designs deserve. Long may that good fortune and attention to detail continue, and I look forward to buying further pieces in the future. If Iconic Interiors have what I want, I wouldn't even consider risking going elsewhere. Incidentally, delivery was also impressive, from polite and helpful individuals.

I recently purchased an Eames Lounger - the service from Mark was excellent. Highly responsive and helpful, ensuring delivery was arranged for a Particular date. And I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of the chair and ottoman. It is superb!
