Purchasing the card was easy. It was easy to add multiple cards to one app and scan everyone in at once. We used the 48-hour card for public transit (including to Schipol airport), discounted 1/2 day... See more

Good recommendations and many options of tours, sights, and discounts. The free public transport was a huge bonus as well. My only complaint is the price was quite high for a limited number of hours, even for several days

It worked smoothly
A bit expensive but worth it
Could do with more museums in the lists still!

The card worked very well on the tram system and we loved the discounts it gave us on many of the attractions that we were planning on seeing anyway.

It was great to use public transport with no worries, and visit some sites for free.

I found using the city card an easy way of seeing the sights of Amsterdam, once I got my card. I had trouble activating the electronic version of the city card on my phone using the app. I had to take a trip to the shop at Amsterdam Centraal to get the card activated. The man in the shop could also not get it working on my phone, so I ended up getting a physical card to use for 48 hours. I am not sure that I got value for money with the card, but it was convenient for entering museums and attractions.

Great value when you take into account all the free access to museums and public transport.

Easy to use and covered a lot of interesting places included

This might not be worth the money. If it covered transport from the airport plus a few more museums then I would consider but I think it was a waste of money.

I advise to everybody to purchase the I Amsterdam card. It is very useful if someone wants to visit as much as possible museums or other attractions in Amsterdam and surroundings.

Would recommend if you are planning to visit a lot of the museums etc we had a 72 hour pass. It saves money plus you can use it on transport

We loved the pass… only downside was we had purchased our passes well in advance so we could just activate the day we wanted to start usage, and when we went to download it wouldn’t let us. We had to take time to go to the Iamsterdam store where they issued a physical pass.

The amount of attractions and things to do, for the price, was second to none. Including transportation of the train, metro, and trams truly made the card an excellent value.

Got into loads of museums and used the transportation for a couple of days. Well worth it.

Easy to order online. Got the physical card over the digital version, as you don't have to worry about your phone battery. Used the app to find places to go visit. Only issue I had was the app saying locations being open, when in fact they were closed on the days I wanted to go.
Worth the cost, as I worked out if I had to pay for each location/attraction/museum I went to, I would have paid nearly double the cost of the iamsterdam pass for the 2 days.

I had the card for a 72 hour period and I thought think that I received really great value for that. I didn't use the bike rental but we went on a canal cruise one afternoon which was cool. It was nice to just have to scan the card and not worry about money or debit/credit transactions.

I booked a ticket by GetYourGuide. The communication with I amsterdam to use the tram and
bus did not work. The tram und bus, I paid with my creditcard, because it was impossible to use it.
In your service-station, they can not help us.
It was terrible. I cannot recommend this booking.

We loved being able to experience a lot of Amsterdam without paying for each museum. We definitely got our money's worth.
