A great card to give rewards as you spend and so easy to use

Very useful app. Used to use splitwise to share costs but this way we can have an electronic "kitty" without the hassle of entering details after every event. Doddle to use by superlinking any of the pots as default contact less payment by phone.

I love how the card helps my daughter. Have a bit more freedom to go into a shop and pay herself. I have her account joined to my account on the phone app. So when she taps I get pinged. It's simple to move money around in the jars. I don't make full use of the money back bits. Just use it really to keep money back for my daughter. Also a good card to take out so I can leave my normal bank card safe at home. Costumer services are helpful. A link in the app.

Get little card/app
I’ve started sticking spare cash on it sometimes pennies sometimes pounds , I’ve got a few little pots marked out for hols , bdays and spoils .
Love being able to switch it about as needed or move it back for bills that pop up . Love the safety and handiness of it all

Easy to use and easy to see where kids are spending and saving in their own pots
Kids loved it as they felt grown up once they got one

I use it mainly for pocket money for my boys, I put in a set amount into my jar and then they both get it transferred automatically every week. They have their own cards and can pay contactless or with a pin. When they spend money I get notifications so I know how they’re spending their money. They’ve also set up savings jars so can keep some of their pocket money aside to save towards bigger items they want. Never had any issues with hyper jar, I’ve even added the card to my Apple pay wallet as a back up if needed.

Doesn't seem to keep up to date with what's in jar. Daughter struggles to pay for bus for school some days.

I opened a HyperJar account recently and completed all verification steps, including ID checks. After transferring funds into the account, the money was instantly locked and my account was suspended. This happened on Saturday afternoon.
On Saturday evening, I received an email requesting a bank statement showing the transaction leaving my original bank and going to HyperJar and a photo of me and my ID in order to verify my transaction to release. Because the transaction was so recent, I had to request an interim statement from my bank, which took until Tuesday morning to receive.
I sent the interim statement along with a photo of myself and my ID on Tuesday morning. Later that evening, I received another email saying the statement could not be accepted and that I needed to download it from my bank’s official website — which is exactly where the original document came from.
I have now downloaded the statement again and resent it, and I am still waiting for a response.
In the meantime, my funds have been locked since Saturday, leaving me unable to pay important bills and resulting in late fees. The constant excuse of “regulatory obligations” that they try to pull does not justify leaving customers without access to their own money for days. I have never experienced anything like this with any other financial service.
Extremely frustrating experience so far. I would strongly recommend to stay far away from HyperJar
