Really pleased with the service I got from Max and Damien today. They delivered, assembled and took away the rubbish from my new sofa. They were polite and friendly even asking if id like them to remove their shoes. It was a really hot day to be lugging a massive sofa about but they did it with a smile and are a credit to Humber Services

Received a phone call from Brad and Josh saying that they would be with us within half an hour as it was outside of the time slot.They asked me whether I wanted them to put the reclining chair and stool together as it came in pieces and I accepted their offer.They were brilliant and they placed it in my chosen room and took all packaging away with them.Excellent service.The only downside was DFS told us on day of purchase delivery would be 2 weeks but it took 12 which resulted in 2 cancelled delivery dates which was very disappointing.

Excellent service from Damien and Luke. Phoned to say they would be 30 minutes. Very friendly and polite unboxed chairs and foot stools fitted everything together and left with the rubbish. Fantastic.

Should have delivered by 20.10hrs on a thursday, called at 21.00 to say will be about another 40 minutes, i had to be up at 02.30hrs so i said no. Next day friday they called me to say could not deliver until monday, so we have 4 days with no settee to sit on, not a pleasant week end, and i got charged £129 for this appalling service. would not recommend

Would have given less than one star if it were possible! Will be writing to the company separately to this as have been appalled by the service with 2 days wasted when deliveries were cancelled on both mornings. Took several calls on my part before finally delivered today. On the plus side, the 2 lads Craig and Gary who installed the furniture cannot be faulted at all. Polite, professional and helpful

The one star is because the actual delivery guys were nice guys.
The first delivery was also a collection, wasn’t marked as such for the delivery guys by head office apparently. Delivery guys said they had no space to take away, then said the collection would be later that day. Well after having a massive bed broken into bits in my garden for more than a week, It was finally collected.
The second experience was for a delivery that was set and confirmed, only to be told the morning of, after I enquired why I didn’t receive the delivery window the night before, that they were no longer the delivery agent, contact the vendor.
Even if the vendor changed things, They have automated systems that confirm your choice of date, the delivery, and prepare you - but something gets cancelled an it doesn’t make it through to the customer ?
I’ve lost not less than four days of income due to their incompetence.
Disorganised mess of a delivery company, albeit with nice enough guys. Certainly extremely unreliable.

Awful service from day one.
Was contacted about my delivery from DFS and had a conversation with customer services about a specific delivery date.
Was then contacted again a couple of weeks later simply with a proposed delivery date. I emailed back explaining about the first phone call and the email back was blunt and came across as very rude. This happened twice more.
Had to settle for the new date so booked time off work for it.
Had a call the night before saying they basically had too many deliveries to make so wouldn't be delivering tomorrow. Phoned and spoke to someone to have a blunt and rude person on the other end of the phone.
3rd delivery date. Message from driver saying he was on route but i ly had half the order.
Phoned head office who told me to phone the driver myself to find out which half. I refused and said this is surely your responsibility. She did end up calling the driver, but couldn't answer the question and said she hadn't managed to speak to the driver at all due to signal issues.
The driver arrived and was very apologetic. First sincere apology I'd had. I said it wasn't his fault at the end of the day and he said the woman at head office had said to expect a telling off when he arrived. This shows the woman at head office obviously lied and had spoken to him at some point.
Phoned head office again asking when the rest would be delivered. I was told they had lost if and I would be contacted by the end of the day.
No call.
I called the next day and was told the same again.
No call.
Next day DFS call them and get a date.
Book another day off work and the delivery arrives. Wrong piece.
Phone head office. Yet again told they would contact me by the end of the day. Nothing.
Next day. Call DFS who tell me Humber promised to contact me by the end of the day.
Again nothing.
Same the next day.
Finally another delivery date the following date.
Book another day off work.
Finally I have a completed suite.
Drivers were the only polite people I spoke to and were the only positives of the company.
Head office/customer services: awful, rude, no customer service to speak off.
Would avoid where physically possible.
Lack of care and customer service is awful.
I've put March 1st aa date but this process took weeks as you've probably gathered...

if i could give 0 stars i would. I'm too tired and drained to even explain the whole story but basically I still have no bed or mattress after 2 no show deliveries due to broken down van and then all of a sudden a stock issue (after they have scanned in receipt of item). AVOID AVOID AVOID, worst experience ever.
UPDATE - 3RD DELIVERY CANCELLED TODAY, STILL DONT KNOW WHY AS THEY HAVE PROMISED TO CALL US BACK TWICE WITH A REASON AND HAVENT. HAVE NOW CANCELLED THE WHOLE ORDER WITH SIMBA AND WILL TAKE MY MONEY AND BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.

Ordered bed and mattress through Simba, no option of courier. Delivery experience was shocking. Bed frame was literally stuck in stairway which left me with significant hole in stair wall, chipped plaster in other places and multiple scruff marks. Despite assurances from Simba that Humber would ensure this was put right I have sent numerous emails , sent texts etc to their commercial director as I was told to by Simba customer service but no response. He is completely ignoring me. Simba have said they are pushing for help on this but nothing is happening. Result is that I am left with damage to my home caused by Humber and neither they or Simba are doing anything to resolve . Dreadful experience.

Failed to deliver a mattress, after confirming time and slot, to arrive without the item we had ordered. ( drivers were great) head office problem, spoke with a lady the same evening, who was going to sort it and call back 9am on Thursday, 20th, it’s now 5pm on the 21st no call back, no update and we have been without a mattress for 3 nights so far. Avoid Simba who are ultimately responsible and will be having 1 star review also and avoid this company if you ever want to get your items delivered.

Absolutely shocking experience. the first delivery that was arranged my partner took a days annual leave to get a txt message the morning of delivery to say they won't be coming. I found out that they damaged my bed in their warehouse and it had to be reordered from Simba. this was on the 18th February. my partner has now had to take another days annual leave for the delivery on 21st of March to not even be told the delivery's not coming. she had to call Humber to ask why it was past the delivery slot to be told there is an issue and it now cant be delivered until next week. bearing in mind they have requested that my bed is fully dismantled and now on the second time taking it apart it's broken and unable to be put back up. My heavily pregnant wife and i are now left with no bed and not sure where to go. after ordering a bed, mattress, pillow etc from Simba the whole experience of being excited is long gone and now it is just distressing.
