The holiday Portal has not been correct for six months now, and now on the doorstep to Christmas the portal has decided to give everyone an extra days holiday!!! can you fix it well that was 24 hours ago and still waiting for it to be looked at by the technical department, but the fact that any employee is unable to book half a days holiday on the system because it does not recognise half days!! this has been with the technical department for six months and still no fix.. was offered half our money back, we said yest have chased 3 times still no refund...
just a response from someone by phone would be good instead of an email promising help that never comes.
the other services are good but the holiday portal is nothing more than a nightmare and so stressful with lack of response.

We had our onboarding training with Marc T who was extremely helpful and friendly. Usually these things are very dry but he did a great job of showing us how to navigate the system in a fun engaging way. So far the whole team have been brilliant and we've had a great experience. 1000% recommend!

An absolutely shocking service, and one to be wary of unless you're in the only industry that HS Direct properly serve. If you're in the business of Cleaning then you can forget it! We paid well in excess of £2k, and they promised us access to their extensive database. But that database contained almost nothing relevant to our industry and that was pointed out by us soon after we gained access. HS Direct accepted that our industry was poorly served and agreed to make the changes required. And after months of us chasing what have we received? Nothing! And is there anyone to complain to? Nope! We were given the details of one of their sales guy to state our case to, and that was done. And his response? Nothing again, and that's despite my many chasers.
HS Direct. I'm writing this review because I note that you bother to reply to them. So please get in touch with me so we can have a conversation about our totally pointless subscription. Mark, Optimus Plus.
Working along with Joanne grain to gain our accreditation was a pleasure, she was very professional and precise right from the start, would have no hesitation in using HS Direct in the future.

Total crap. Complete all forms, agree to all terms, send all required information, guess what? No free forms, nothing that was promised arrived and they want you to give more with a phone call. Don't do it gents. They are full of shit.

I needed a Method Statement and Risk Management for for a project…and I needed it fast. It was required for a grant application that was due in 5 hours. I was lucky enough to find HS Direct via a Google search. I found a form and had it downloaded in a few minutes. The form was perfect. A few changes to make it “our form”, and an hour or so later our Method Statement and Risk Analysis were ready to submit. Thanks HS Direct. Because of your form, our small, community volunteer group were able to secure several thousand £££ to fund construction of a picnic area and children’s skill event playground which otherwise might never have happened. I was contacted the next day by one of their experts, who detailed the other management services HS Direct can provide and offered to guide me through them.
As a chartered civil engineer, PMI and Prince2 certified construction manager, and ITIL Expert with 40+ years of experience, I know more than a bit about Method Statements and Risk Analyses, but I’ve always had staff members to complete them for me. I had no old examples to go by, but by using the HS Direct form, I was able to quickly develop an excellent document. Their form was thorough and easy to understand. I’m looking forward to doing repeat business with HS Direct and exploring their other services.
