UPDATE: HP ANZ Management Now "Radio Silent" Following Formal Government Escalation (NCAT: 2026/00113715 | Fair Trading: 11520797)

UPDATE: HP ANZ Management Now "Radio Silent" Following Formal Government Escalation (NCAT: 2026/00113715 | Fair Trading: 11520797)

The "Executive Silence" Phase:
As of Thursday, 26 March, HP Australia’s Senior Management (under MD Brad Pulford) has officially opted for total non-engagement. Despite receiving a formal Executive Risk Notification and forensic evidence of asset destruction, HP has failed to respond. This "procedural stalling" is now being documented as Evidence of Bad Faith for the upcoming Tribunal hearing.

A Systemic Repeat of 2013 Conduct:
This behavior—ignoring valid consumer guarantees and obstructing the resolution process—is a direct mirror of the systemic failures that led to the $3 Million Federal Court penalty against HP in 2013 (ACCC v HP Australia). It appears HP is choosing to risk modern penalties of up to $50 Million rather than resolve a clear-cut $1,553.25 negligence claim.

Documented Evidence of Failure:
75-Day Warranty Delay: A factory fault left unrepaired for over two months (Major Failure).

Physical Destruction: My brand-new laptop was returned structurally destroyed (chassis and ports) due to HP’s gross packing negligence.

Government Escalation: HP’s refusal to act has forced the activation of three separate government files:
NSW Fair Trading: File 11520797 (Active)
NCAT (Tribunal): Case 2026/00113715 (Pending Hearing)
ACCC: Report 4716968 (Lodged for Systemic Breach)

Warning to Consumers:
HP Support’s only response has been an attempt to move this dispute into "Private DMs" to hide the evidence. I have refused. Transparency is the only protection against this level of corporate negligence.

HP Management: Your silence is being recorded as an admission of liability.

Useless products and appalling customer service

Easily the worst product and customer experience I have had. And never sign up to the Ink plan it is an absolute rip off, I spent most of my pages getting it to work then when you dare unsubscribe they lock your cartridges and force you to buy new or third party ones. Absolute disgrace.

I recently purchased the HP OfficeJet…

I recently purchased the HP OfficeJet Pro 8120e from HP.com.au, and I couldn't be more satisfied! As a writer, I rely heavily on my printer for printing manuscripts and business documents, and this printer has exceeded my expectations.

At just $99, it was an absolute bargain! The print quality is exceptional, providing clear and professional results every time. Added bonus: it comes with 3 months of Instant Ink included! After that, you can choose a monthly plan where the printer senses when you need more ink and orders it for you—a brilliant feature that takes the hassle out of running out of supplies.

Moreover, there's the option to add a bonus copy paper subscription for just a few extra dollars. This is a fantastic deal, as it works out cheaper than most places that only offer ink subscriptions without paper included.

My printer arrived in just 2 days, which was fantastic and made setting up my home office a breeze.

I highly recommend the HP OfficeJet Pro 8120e for anyone in need of a reliable and efficient printer. The service from HP was top-notch, making my shopping experience even better. Thank you, HP!
