I had an Aqua Stop hose connector that stopped gripping the gun despite the locking collar being home, only bought last year but didn’t keep the receipt (after all what can go wrong?).
I chatted to a bot about it and was then contacted by Tim, who requested photos even though he knew I didn’t have the receipt, so I sent some and a video of it not working. He responded saying he would pop one in the post!
3 days later I received 2!!
I don’t know if the video swayed him, as technically they don’t offer any warranty without proof of purchase, or my self diagnosis of the poor quality plastic spring in the pawls that was causing the problem, but regardless I cannot fault the customer service I received.
It was a proper breath of fresh air.

I had ordered an item well over a year ago, via a third party. When this item became defective, Hozelock's Warranty scheme supplied the replacement item with ease and expediency.

I bought hozelock auto reel hosepipe 2 years ago it stopped retracting it was almost out of warranty I contacted hozelock and was dealt with by Tim I was very impressed with quick responses and how helpful he was after trying what he suggested it didn’t work so he sent me a replacement auto reel hosepipe which came within 2 days very impressed and very happy service and communication

It was annoying that a second hose split, but the customer service was great, replacement hose on its way within 24 hours of sending the video.

I bought a Hozelock retractable hose in 2024 from B&Q. In 2025 I contacted customer services as it wasn’t fully rolling back up. Unfortunately, at that time I could not provide a receipt, I only could evidence the payment from my account. I was informed my warranty was not valid without the receipt. Fair enough. Jump forward to 2026, I found the receipt! I informed customer services, and within 5 days in received a replacement hose and reel. I’m very pleased.

I had bought a metal spray gun 18 months ago and it had developed a fault. I contacted Hozelock but didn't expect anything from them as it's over 12 months. Chloe on customer service was outstanding, she sorted out a replacement with no fuss, absolutely brilliant. Thanks Chloe. I recommend this company.

@I found hozelock pipe to be too un-pliable, it kinks far too easily and I'm constantly having to un-kink it.
In my opinion an expensive product whose quality certainly does not meet expectations.
I will not be buying their products again.

Our pond pump, still under guarantee failed and we requested a replacement. Tim made the process very easy. Photos sent on mobile phone as requested with photo of receipt. Replacement has been dispatched without argument. Using a mobile to send pictures via email so easy!
