We decided on Alfred and his team to clear my father’s house after he downsized to a flat. They were brilliant and I can see why they get so many 5 star reviews. A good price, a personable approach with their clients, and an amazing result with a pristine house now ready for sale. In addition, despite me living many hundred of miles away, they kept me up to date with photos and videos via WhatsApp. Well done guys.

On the bereavement of an uncle in Lochwinnoch, Renfrewshire who could be described as a hoarder we were at a bit of a loss as where to turn regarding the clearance of his house and we chanced upon House Clearance Scotland whilst browsing online. Based on very favourable reviews we decided to contact them and came into contact with Alfred (the head man and go to person) for the first time. He arranged to meet us at the property in question the next day. He's a very down to earth friendly man and after a 30 minute assessment he was able to provide us with a quote. He was very open to our questions and explained how the household items would be recycled and donated to charities where possible. Due to the extent of clutter he gave us an estimate of 2 weeks for completion of the task. The work started on Wednesday 16th July 2025 and continued into Thursday 17th the first week and then Tues/ Wed the following week i.e only 4 full days to complete the formidable task. We had frequent phone calls, photos and videos with progress. We also met the lads at the heavy end doing the hard yards who were also amazing to the extent of if they came across items of sentimental value or small stashes of cash they would let us know. We could not recommend this company highly enough. Maybe other firms would be less expensive but for peace of mind alone these people are well worth hiring. Absolutely fantastic service and we would definitely use them again if / when the occasion arises.

I can't speak highly enough of Alfred and his team. From start to finish they were professional and deeply empathetic to our situation. Just knowing my late Mother's house was being cleared out by experts who clearly care about what they are doing was so reassuring. Alfred kept me updated at every step of the way and Damian and his team did an amazing job of clearing the house and leaving it utterly spotless. From start to finish Alfred and his company have been an absolute pleasure to deal with! Recently had re-acquired a property that we had tenants in and the mess they left was like something from tenants from hell! In my opinion the service House Clearance Scotland provides is second to none. I contacted Alfred and had a video call to go through our requirements and show him what the house looked like. Within 10 minutes I had a quote and 3 days later the team arrived to clear and clean house ready for estate agent photos. Communication during the day with Alfred was excellent and a series of videos were sent to me to show me the finished job. I would highly recommend House Clearance Scotland. They made this difficult task easy.

I recently made contact with Alf as I had been struggling to finish clearing my late dad's house. Alf informed me of his companies process were items are sent to be reused and upcycled with nothing going to landfill. Alf is lovely and friendly and he was very patient and understanding given the circumstances. The house was cleared in a day and Alf kept me updated throughout the day. Recently contacted House Clearance Scotland when we were struggling to make progress in clearing out my parents' house. Alfred was really helpful from the beginning, letting us know what the process is and how everything is recycled or repurposed, rather than just thrown out. We received a quote after having had a look around and set a date.

The guys - Damian, Dan and Bert - put in an absolute shift and cleared out the whole house, loft, garage and garden in 3 days. It would have taken us months, if not longer to do the same job! We were kept updated daily with progress photos/videos and the guys set aside anything that they thought we might want to keep.

Losing my sister in law was hard, we needed her home cleared. I found this company and read all the reviews, wow, I was satisfied this was the right company for us. Alfred is so sympathetic to our bereavement and explained everything to me. He worked with us before the clearance, and communicated at every stage. At the end of her life , my sister in law had dementia and refused assistance , she was not managing. Her hoarding was not her, she was a very house proud hard working lady. Needless to say there was a lot of clearing and Alfred assured us this would be done to selling condition. And it is. I would HIGHLY recommend this company. And we want to thank Alfred and his hard working staff for making our grief easier to handle. Flat is in Monifieth.
