I will always use house and Homesitters as they always come up with very good sitters and at short notice if necessary.Rita and Jon looked after our home and our 2 schnauzers for a week in september. We were very happy with them and would have no hesitation in requesting them again.

I was a little nervous to use a sitter at first as my neighbour had always looked after my birds but was unable to this time. I found House and Home Sitters through Facebook and gave Dave a call. He came back to me within a couple of days saying that he'd found a sitter for me. Peter was the perfect sitter and it suited him to stay as he was travelling to see different areas of the country so it worked out perfect for both of us. He kept me updated each day via whatsapp with photos of my ducks and chicken. I came home to a clean and tidy house and he'd even made my bed up for me so that it was all ready for me. I was worried about whether i'd find a sitter because i have a lodger but Peter was quite happy to live here for the week with my lodger and all was good. I would recommend this company to anyone needing peace of mind when going away.

I highly recommend House & Home!! Having been let down by another agency we turned to Dave who provided us with great reassurance that we would still be able to have our holiday!

Dave swiftly found someone near to us to sit our house and 2 babies (dogs). Sadly that sitter slipped and broke an ankle but Dave found us another sitter immediately.

Sarah was great! Very confident and comfortable and provided us with the reassurance we needed to entrust our home and dogs to her.

She also weeded our front flower garden as an added bonus which was a treat.

We will definitely be using their services again.

It was good to get back home, even though its much colder here than in Canada!
Dave and Rachel did a great job, and we returned to a happy cat and goldfish, a burgeoning garden and a clean and tidy house, so we are very happy with House and Home Sitters. Thanks for everything, and we will let you know as soon as we are in need of sitters again.

We found House and Home sitters online through Google and contacted Dave Price about a 15 day house sitter for our two Maine Coons (Roxie & Wesley) while we were away for our Honeymoon.

Dave was helpful and responded quickly to help find us a house sitter right away. Even though there were complications with the first house sitter, Dave made sure another sitter could stay and ensured we had an amazing Honeymoon.
We were assigned Rita and John and we had a telephone introduction with them first before we met them again on the day before we flew away. They were very friendly and were happy to keep in contact with us via WhatsApp so that we could see how they were getting along while we were away.
It was nice to see that Rita and John were both looking forward to caring for our two cats.

When we returned, the house was left clean and tidy, so we could get back into a normal routine straight away.

It was reassuring having someone at home caring for our cats and the house. Regular updates meant we could focus on enjoying our honeymoon without any worries.

If we do plan on having another holiday away, we'd certainly return to Dave Price for another home sitter.

Very Pleased! Our previous Dog Sitter had been with us for several years and we know her so well but due to ill health had to cancel three weeks before our 14 day trip. We considered cancelling our holiday, the thought of a stranger looking after our two Dogs, Chinchilla and Home filled us with dread!

I found House and Home Sitters online and contacted the Owner Dave at about 11pm that night, he replied straight away saying he could help. The reviews online are fantastic, they DBS check their Sitters and have full Insurance (your home insurance often won't cover a House-Sitter)

We were assigned Sandra, I agreed to a facetime/phone interview (we were very short on time but could have asked for a face to face meeting) and booked a slot to speak to her, Sandra is a very Professional and Personable Woman and I immediately felt at ease with her. Sandra moved dates around last minute to accommodate our holiday plans (there was no financial incentive for her to do so) she also drove nearer to our location the day before at her cost and stayed in a B&B just in case traffic was bad the day we were leaving. (I had offered a place at ours but she didn't want to get in the way of us getting ready for the holiday)

Our Dogs absolutely loved her, Sandra gave us regular updates throughout the holiday. Me and My Husband felt totally comfortable knowing Sandra was looking after everything. When we got back the house was immaculate, Dog bathed (she needs regular medicated baths as has a skin condition) the Chinchilla cleaned out and happy.

I am already arranging dates to for our next holiday and hopeful Sandra will cover it. My Dogs were actually grumpy for a day when we got home because they missed her!!

House and Home Sitters are a very professional company that take care in providing the right person to look after your home (and cats in our case). Jessica, in particular, was great and had no issues whilst staying at our property. Jessica was very friendly and took care of our home and cats as if they were her own.
David of House and Home Sitters was very efficient and quick with booking us a house sitter considering it was only 2 days away!
Very good service overall and would use again.

I found House and Home Sitters through a Google search and I’m very happy that I did. David has been very thorough, helpful and prompt with providing information and answering queries. It is great to know that all of the checks, insurance and other such matters have been dealt with by him so that all you have to do is book the dates. Elizabeth, the house and pet sitter was a total success - a very charming person with lots of animal experience who was at ease dealing with our dog. Previous dog sitters have not always found him easy! We appreciated the daily (amusing) updates and it was so relaxing to be away and know that both house and dog were in safe hands. We will definitely be using House and Home Sitters again and hope that we always get Elizabeth!

Again used House and Home Sitters Ltd. They provided a great house and pet sitter, Andy Connolly, who clearly enjoyed his times walking my Spaniel, Jackson. Andy even involved himself in assisting my gardener during the assignment. Will gladly have any of sitters from House and Home Sitters back to my home in the future.

Once again we called on our lifesavers David and Mei when we decided to go abroad for a week away, and first ensure we have our six beloved pooches looked after in their own home.
Such a pleasure to have our home and dogs in their care as we always have such peace of mind to enjoy our holiday more. Daily pictures and updates reassure us all is well too.

After our designated sitters John and Rita from House and Home Sitters arrived to handle a second assignment for us, an unforeseen emergency meant they had to return home, so we had Dave and Mai step into the breach and look after our home and pets for a week while we were away working.

They were brilliant, kept us informed with daily messages and photos of how our two cats and three guinea pigs were doing.

When we got back the house was immaculate and they had even managed to keep my garden alive by daily watering in the very hot weather we had that week.

I was extremely pleased with their service and would definitely use them again.

Amazing! Another House and Home Sitters total success, this was the second time we have used them. We have three dogs, all lovely but two of them have very specific needs and the youngest (Eva) needs handling with kid gloves. David knew that our sitters would have to be experienced with dogs and soon put us in contact with their sitters, Rita and John.
We gave Rita and John lots of information prior to their arrival and explained that Eva would be anxious, barking and snappy when meeting them, but when they walked in there wasn’t one bark or any anxious behaviour. It was as if they knew they were in good hands from the outset.
Both my husband and I were amazed, we have honestly never seen the dogs behave around strangers in such a positive way; all three were totally relaxed
Rita and John were unfazed by the situation from the beginning and couldn’t have dealt with the dogs in a better way. They also took great care of the house and we couldn’t recommend them enough. Thanks for coming up trumps again David, it’s great to know we can rely on you to find the best.

It was a fantastic find when I found House and Home Sitters; I cannot recommend them more highly, the service is wonderful. David organised Becky a wonderful sitter for us, I had absolute and complete confidence in her ability to look after our dogs, and she made us feel that we could go away without any worries.
Previously our two elderly dogs had been to stay with a close friend when we went away, but lately this has not been possible due to their age and infirmity, which meant either my wife or I had to stay at home to look after them. But my daughter was running the London Marathon and we both needed to be there to support her. House and Home Sitters came to our aid, and having used them once now know we can enjoy some time away, without having to either take the dogs with us or one of us stay at home.
Becky was superb, I had absolute and complete trust and reliance on her and her abilities, the dogs were wonderfully cared for, and it was a delight to have her there.
If anyone is wondering, like we were, whether it was a sensible and safe thing to do, rest assured, I will do this again and recommend their service. David was efficient, and found us someone really professional and special. It has freed us to get away again in the future.

David and Mei arrived the evening before we went on our 18 day trip overseas . We enjoyed an instant relaxed rapport over a meal and going through the household with our busy 6 fur babies. Left the next morning with complete confidence our doggies were in good hands. Whilst away David updated us with plenty pics and information especially as our older dog had recent complications and was under vets instructions. Arrived home to a happy house , perfectly kept by the busy Mei , all dogs looking well groomed and our old doggies back to shining health. We now know we have found gems and can’t wait to go away again and to have David and Mei in our home. I have no hesitation in recommending this company. David and Mei were very professional and we came back to two happy dogs and a lovely clean house. Our older dog is a bit of a challenge as he has arthritis and frets when we are away but he soon settled with them and was well cared for and happy in their company. I was kept up to date on how the dogs were and would certainly use them again.

We used House and Home Sitters to look after our 2 Labrador puppies in February 2017. The director himself David Price undertook the assignment with his girlfriend Mei. Although we did not know at that time, Mei was not an official sitter and therefore not covered by insurance.
We were assured by the promises on the website as to the background checked professionals, various held competencies and adequately insured all for peace of mind.
The terms and conditions including the fact that the house would never be left for longer than 4 hours in the day also seemed appropriate.
However, unfortunately matters turned out most differently and for half the days Mr Price was 'sitting' the 4 hour period was breached. In fact the final time he left my dogs it was to go shopping 88 miles away. Hence that final day my puppies were left for over 6 hours. Mr Price admits they were not even walked let alone left with any chews to amuse them.
After returning exactly 6 hours 8 mins (never admitted to) and verified by our ADT alarm report my youngest puppy was dead on the floor.
How was this heartbreaking news conveyed to me? By text with accompanying explicit photographs whilst we were 4,000 miles away powerless!! He also knew my health was poor as I've got incurable cancer and how precious my fur babies are/were to me.
On that fatal day my youngest puppy died. He has never admitted liability and we then discovered that
his insurance does not cover him for breach of contract!
Did we get a refund or even a bunch of flowers? Er.... nothing!
If you choose to use this uncaring and deceitful service then as we found out the cost can break your heart.
