It was just a blatant upsell, rather than an easy registering of applicance. Having commissioned based staff dealing with it, is not a good experience.. couldn’t say no thank you enough times.

Utterly disgusting poor customer…

Utterly disgusting poor customer service and experience from Hotpoint. My tumble dryer broke down 9 months after purchase. The engineer said he needs to order parts so rescheduled a week later then he shows up to my door and claimed I wasn’t at home but he didn’t see my cctv record him. Then 2 further appointments got cancelled and rescheduled because they told me that the part was missing. And customer service on the phone is a joke. Some bloke called Harun was soo rude and was clueless. To be honest non of them care. Will definitely not be buying a Hotpoint again and would not recommend it to friends and family.
