It was just a blatant upsell, rather than an easy registering of applicance. Having commissioned based staff dealing with it, is not a good experience.. couldn’t say no thank you enough times.

Registered wrong date 8/6 is when they…

Registered wrong date 8/6 is when they started kitchen strip out. White goods not brought to my house until Tuesday 16/6 but that’s my error and I will sort. Rang to register and report top drawer in freezer not closing evenly. Otherwise the customer service team were professional and helpful.

Straightforward registration although ..,,

Straightforward registration although as a person-to-person call there was a sales pitch for a service agreement starting after ‘2 free months’. Since the electrical/mechanical guarantee covers the first 12 months, I declined.
I expect another offer after this period.

I only requested acrepair

I haven't got a clue what you are talking about. I haven't bought a new Hotpoint
appliance. All I have requested is a repair for my cooker.
Perhaps you could explain why I have received this request for a review.

repeated calls

Had to make repeated calls, being kept on hold: took a whole lot longer than should have done. Don’t even try customer services- they are permanently busy.

The 10 year parts guarantee and…

The 10 year parts guarantee and registering the dishwasher are 2 different things and I did both. 2 different companies were involved and I gave the same information to both regarding model and serial number. There was no way of doing any of this on line and it took me some time to do it all. Should be a lot simpler!Also - no handbook was included, not even a quick start guide - not too impressed with this service.
