Honest and accountable

Unfortunately the property was not as described and not in a good condition when we arrived (it is no longer available to book). Hostthreesixty did what they could to remedy the situation during our stay but this was not enough. Subsequently they issued a fulsome apology and agreed a partial refund. It was refreshing to deal with a company that is prepared to be honest and accountable.

Nicely presented but no kitchen utensils

The flat we’d booked was nicely decorated and clean on arrival. But as a basement flat, it was quite cold and the bathroom constantly smelt damp, even with the extractor fan going and leaving the door open. Getting towels to dry seemed virtually impossible - the heated towel rail didn’t seem to come on, or only barely when the heating was on. The hot water ebbed and flowed - not ideal.
The kitchen had no utensils at all and only 2 sets of cutlery. A washing machine would’ve been much more useful than the dishwasher. We couldn’t out how to use either of the tvs - the one in the kitchen didn’t even seem to turn on. It would have been really useful to have information about which recycling bin was which as it wasn’t clear. There was also very minimal clothes storage - we were staying for nearly 3 weeks and all there was was a small hanging rail with 8 hangers. No drawers.
Additionally, the company had some sort of computer system issues while we were staying and I got sent a lot of welcome messages for properties I hadn’t booked and wasn’t staying in, including addresses and lock box codes.
When I contacted the office, they did reply promptly and helpfully.

Unprofessional management and costly mistakes

We trusted Host360 to manage our home while we were away for the summer, but the experience was extremely disappointing and stressful. From the beginning, the service was marked by repeated errors and a lack of oversight, which cost us both financially and emotionally.

Despite their promise to handle all aspects of rental management, we found ourselves constantly involved — frequently on the phone with neighbours and even considering police involvement due to the behaviour of guests. Host360 failed to properly vet guests, resulting in problematic stays, and the standard of cleaning between bookings was so poor that we had to return from our trip early to address it ourselves.

One of the most serious issues was significant damage to our front door, which went unnoticed and unreported by the company. By the time they attempted to follow up with the tenants, it was too late, and they refused to cover the cost. We received only £300 in compensation — £150 of which was the tenant's deposit — leaving us to fund the repair ourselves.

Host360 demonstrated little regard for our home, the local community, or their responsibility as a management company. They operate as part of a larger corporation based in Bristol, which may contribute to the impersonal and careless approach we experienced.

I would strongly advise anyone considering this company to look elsewhere. Our experience was a complete nightmare, and I hope this review helps others avoid a similar situation.

Host360 handled short-term lets of my…

Host360 handled short-term lets of my flat while I was abroad for 7 months. They did a great job! I handed over my keys and they did everything else. Great communication and service. My actual revenue was 102% of their estimate - impressively accurate.

Dreadful Experience

I could not believe the state of the property. The filth and the total disrepair. The property had clearly not been vetted in any way, nor was represented in the pictures used to market the property. The standard of the cleaning or lack off, was incredible, months of grime, which clearly contributed to the smell.

Pleasant and comfortable apartment

It was a very nice and comfortable little flat, but there was no TV and we could have done with a coffee table.
Our main complaint was it was very noisy at night, although we can hardly blame the owners for that. They do provide ear plugs, but they didn't help much. Corn Street seems to be a popular place with the young folk of the town, who never seem to sleep!

This home is lovely in a very quiet neighborhood

This home is lovely! Bright and comfortable. Decently equipped except for hand towels in the kitchen, there weren't any. It was a bit difficult for us to figure out the induction stove but as it turned out, the pan we were using wasn't a compatible pan, so I'm not sure why its in the pan supply. Once we figured that out, we switched pans and had no problems. The furniture is comfortable, but the beds are less so. The beds in both bedrooms you can feel the springs through the mattress. The area is VERY quiet.

A great house in a great location

A great house in a great location.
Some of the fixtures and fittings were a little worn or past their best, but given its probably only for large groups, it was adequate for what we needed.
Parking times/rules/permits were a tad confusing and could be made clearer prior to booking. A house that can sleep up to 14 yet only offers parking (at additional cost!) for only 2 cars! For the price point we paid, we feel this could have been accommodated or managed expectations better.
Kitchen was well equipped and spacious. Beds comfy and warm.

Ruined holiday

Lied to from day 1, no response to EMERGENCY calls for 10 hours,no instructions before being blamed for not following them ! Totally inept and 'not fit for purpose'

The apartment was advertised as being Ground Floor.

The apartment was advertised as being on the ground floor whereas it was situated in the basement. It was a bit of a struggle carrying my luggage as the steps were very steep.The oven did not work. There were bare wires in the ceiling wall socket and a loose light switch with screws missing.
