Happy to recommend HomeShred to everyone. The whole process was made simple and both sent the confidential waste bags and picked them up, promptly and on time. I also got the certificate of destruction the same day. Would definitely use this company again.

Very secure way of disposing of confidential waste - I had a lot of waste after clearing my mother’s home and this was by far the easiest and safest way to do so. Booking is easy after purchasing bags - kept informed of collection date and time and a call from the driver to confirm collection time. Highly recommended - email confirmation of destruction provided

Everything went according to plan - ie dates/timings and efficiency!
The only slight issue was that the bags were difficult to keep stuck down, so had to improvise with a stapler!

It is not that obvious from the advert that there is a collection fee in addition to buying the bags. For 5 bags they are £4 each. The bags come with poor quality adhesive and needed to be taped to avoid them opening.

Utterly useless. Have been trying to arrange a collection since May with no success but this company never answers their phone, never calls back if you leave a voicemail, and the email address bounces back as if they’ve gone out of business.

Excellent service. I ordered two sacks which were delivered by Royal Mail very quickly. The lady in the office was very helpful, and used to helping people like me who have never used a service like this before. Up until this point I'd got fed up with using the shredder I'd bought as I was almost over-whelmed by all the stuff I'd accumulated over some 30 odd years.

I was quite surprised at how much each of the sacks took with careful filling (keeping the documents flat), and still had some spare space when I'd finished. I was also pleased to find that they accept hardback notebooks, too, but only the ones with glued spines.

When full I phoned their office back and within a few days Dan arrived at the agreed time, and the sacks were gone.

A day or so later I got my certificate of destruction by email.

I will certainly use HomeShred again, if I ever find I have a pile of documents to get rid of safely.

Sacks delivered on time and if high quality but that’s about the best I can say about this company, since they ignore all email communications making it impossible to change the date of collection. Abysmal customer service.

Brilliant! I have a home office and generate a lot of confidential waste. I filled 10 bags, sealed them, had them collected on time and taken away for shredding. The bags stay sealed throughout the shredding process so I have no concerns about trusting confidential details will remain confidential. Easy as that. The communication from the company was clear throughout the process and I will definitely use them again.
