Placed an order and it got cancelled, but my money was taken! I fear this is a scam!

Order number UK-HL#P001750268 Placed an order and it got cancelled “at my request” which is not the case as I never cancelled it!
The desk I purchased costs £503 and I am furious right now as I think this is a major scam. I wished I had read trustpilot reviews first!
I tried calling the number and obviously it rang to nothing! And the amount taken from my card was an international debit so not a UK company at all but an Indian one (possibly).
Will customer service contact me ASAP!

Happy with product but took 13 days to arrive

Product when it turned up was exactly as expected. Happy with the product. But it took 13 days to arrive and was supposed to be for a birthday present but arrived afterwards. Order placed 16 August 2024 and arrived 29 August.

Best all-rounder sharp knives

I am left-handed and find it very difficult to find a knife which are for left handers. I was given a set of 12 knives in 1991 and found that the knives were very very sharp and I could use it as well as the right-handers. I was down to my last two since using them from1991. And had been searching for the same since last five years. When I saw them online I immediately ordered them and then read the reviews which were not good about the company and was scared that I would not receive my order. But I did and cannot tell you how good the knives are.I had to wait a bit longer for it to arrive but I am very happy with my order. It was easy to order and am happywith the knives. Homeloft should advertise this product more widely.

Beware of this company. My bank must be suspicious of them as they blocked my card after I paid. They looked as if they are in the UK but I think they are not. They sent me an item (took ages to come) with a US plug instead of a UK plug. They are owing me about £155. I will be watching my bank account carefully and also sending a letter about them to the Observer newspaper complaints page. I am returning the item to the UK address they give on their page. I don't see why I should return to the US. I see they have misled others about their country too.

Buyer beware

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Homeloft. Initially, I chose to purchase from this company as they appeared to be based in New Zealand, which I later discovered was not the case.
The product I received was not what I ordered. Not only was it the wrong item, but it was also of very low quality. When I contacted Homeloft about the mistake, it took them weeks to agree to a refund.
Furthermore, they required me to return the incorrect item with track & trace. I complied with their request, but despite my efforts and additional expense, Homeloft refused to reimburse me for the shipping costs I incurred.
Overall, this has been a very frustrating and unsatisfactory experience. I would not recommend Homeloft to anyone based on their poor customer service and lack of accountability.

If I could give minus I would

If I could give minus I would. Waited ages for a heavy duty CAN CRUSHER, which cost £95.55. It broke after a few weeks of use and they refused to send a replacement for the broken item, and didn't offer a refund. Their website gives the impression it is a UK company when it is based in Mumbai..... UK consumer rights would mean they would have had to replace the item

Great product

Company could have let me know how long a wait I should have and re-assure me the item was on its way, not just being prepared for delivery. With that proviso I give them 5* owing to a spectacular product at a fair price.

Not recommended!

Be very careful when ordering from Homeloft. Whilst my order did arrive (albeit very slowly) my credit card details were stolen from what looked like a legitimate tracking link. It was silly of me to trust it I admit. Since the order has arrived I have been spammed with more emails claiming that my order has been despatched with further tracking links. As I have not made any further orders (and will never again) I can only assume these links are fake. I can not recommend ordering from Homeloft.

Whilst the email in question may not be from Homeloft I believe there IS a problem with data security at Homeloft which is the reason I can not recommend them.

Dodgy Seller

My item took 6 weeks to arrive. When it came I realised its a scam. Homeloft is shown having a European website. The product did not carry any brand name. Its label said Made in China. Item looks so shoddy for the price I paid. Untrustworthy
