The LED Flush Mount ceiling Light Fixture was easy to install. It's really bright, brightening my hallway nicely.

Looks great/chic & and was the perfect size for what i was looking for. Fits perfect with the rest of my home decor.

There's nothing I dislike about this product. Pretty simple and aesthetic design, it is dimmable and it covers more room on your ceiling than the average fixture.

Horrible company. Cheap products and takes WEEKS to arrive. Virtually no customer service and no one to resolve any issues.

Very cute handle. Got lost in the post but the owner very prompt in replying and resent it for me with tracking number.

The lamp is simply designed for an office or bedroom however, the rounded seeded glass provides a little character. This lamp was super easy to assemble.

This was my recent experience buying two ceiling lights from Homdiy. Knowing what I know now, I would not have bought these lights.

The good - the lights look as advertised. Good designs and reasonable prices. Some of their designs may be knockoffs of other designers. I had to communicate with their customer service a couple times, and they are responsive.

The bad:

1) These are shipped directly from China. This is fine except it takes about 4-6 weeks for the items to arrive. Also, good luck if you need to return an item.
2) There is no UL rating on the lights, meaning they have not been inspected to meet that US based standard.
3) The wiring is not typical for US fixtures. One fixture had the blue/brown (red) wiring with the yellow ground wire. It is a smaller gauge than on most fixtures. I *believe* it's still safe, but I don't like it and it took some research to figure it out. The other fixture had white/black, but no ground and so I had to create a ground.
4) True for most lights - these can be tricky to install. No directions. If you're pretty handy, you should be able to figure it out, but it's an added hassle.
5) I get the definite sense that all their "reviews" on their website are fake. I submitted an honest review, and it was never published. That's pretty sketchy.

In summary, the lights look okay, but if you can find something from another source that you like as much, go with that. I don't think this is necessarily a scam operation, but it is definitely an online company emphasizing social media presence and advertising over quality. I feel a little duped.

I ordered a light on January 5. It finally arrived on February 3 but it was completely smashed in the packaging. They initially offered to send me a replacement and then stopped replying to my emails.
I filed a claim with UPS as well because it arrived damaged, but UPS says that homdiy has still not replied to them to complete that process.
It was a beautiful looking lamp and I was excited to have it, but it seems like this is not a trustworthy company.

I used this in my small dining area. If you have a large dining room, it would be too small. For my area, it's perfect! Looks great and was easy to install.

Unfortunately, my pendant light arrived without a canopy or bracket. Useless. And consumer help is basically nonexistent. If I had known the delivery was going to be on a slow boat from China (for real) I would have passed. Waited for months; so disappointed.

Had my electrician install this light, so I don't know how easy it was. He also installed a dimmer switch, which was a good idea. At full power, the light is quite brite. The dimmer allows me to lower it for evening.

This was exactly the style I wanted for a vanity area with a high celling. Excellent price for a stylish pendant. My husband didn't have any issue installing it.

Do NOT Buy this under any circumstance. It's cheap Chinese product marked up 10x. Find the cheaper version on amazon for much less. They won't refund you. they will toss you around. Avoid.

Paid for express shipping. Still have not gotten it (going on a month). Had to contact them, they lied about shipping it, not thinking I could just look up the tracking.
Ughhh.

Scammy company. Reviews on their site are fake. Product is of poor quality and took 6 weeks to arrive. No real option for me to return because I would be responsible for shipping costs which are nearly the cost of the lights. Avoid this company!

I didn't realize until after I ordered a ceiling light, that this order would be coming from oversees. Several days after ordering, I reached out to "Helen" to ask when it was being shipped. The following day I received an e-mail that it had shipped and was provided a tracking number. The tracking number indicated I should expect the light in April - FOUR months after the order was placed. I e-mailed and said that this was insane and could it possibly be a mistake? Never heard back and when I checked the tracking number again, the order was not found. In an online chat with customer service they said they have no record of my order. When I provided proof of purchase and payment, they went radio silent. MAJOR SCAM

1/21//24 update - I heard from the company that the order has shipped and I should receive it in 2-3 weeks (coming from overseas). I will update this review when/if order arrives

2/21 - I received the order last week. I have not installed the light but the appearance is nice. I'll update the rating. Would not order again due to the long wait time and the poor communication

The pair of pendant lights we ordered arrived intact after a four week journey from China. The colors were slightly mismatched. We had a lot of problems trying to get them to work. Initially, it was difficult to work out which bulbs would fit them. No instructions or parts lists were included. There were other issues, mainly due to the poor quality of their various components. After a number of failures in the first few days my partner, who is an engineer, completely rebuilt them using standard US electrical components and bulbs. They look a little different but work fine now. We have received no response from HomDIY so, after two weeks, we decided to post this as a warning to prospective buyers.

Took my money and never shipped the lights. They claimed for over a month they had been shipped. Thankfully I purchased through PayPal and got my money back. SCAM COMPANY!

Do not purchase anything from this company. I’m a month out from making the order and the product still hasn’t shipped, just says shopping label created. In the site they said it was in stock. Don’t waste your time
