Just had a great holiday at the location which is ideally placed for exploring. The swimming pool was a massive hit, as was the games room and outdoor space. Alpacas were good entertainment too!

very comfterble!

We book through Holiday Cottages fairly often and the properties are usually of a high standard. We did have a question which their call centre wasn't very helpful for, but a direct call to the owner cleared it up.

This venerable house is light, airy and spacious. The large and comfortable living rooms are lovely areas to spend time relaxing. The kitchen is large and well equipped for big family gatherings. However, taller people need to watch their head space when both moving around the house (steps up into most rooms, with lower door clearance) and when rising from the kitchen table (with the ceiling lights). Please note that the "shower room next door" to the ground floor bedroom is difficult to access for people with mobility issues (you navigate steps up, uneven floorboards and a sloping corridor floor). There is a large space for parking. The huge back garden gives marvelous space for games and eating out. The house is situated in an excellent location for the short walk into Halesworth and enjoying the town's wonderful hospitality.

Poor customer service, we had to cancel our booking with a years notice but they still kept our deposit of £509! Cottage is now re advertised for same price so why do you keep families money?! Absolute rip off merchants, would not recommend this company.

Lovely to return again. With such good weather was able to sit in the garden. Great accommodation, spotless and equipped with everything you need. Will definitely return. Lovely welcome treats from Kate.

Greenwell Hill Barn is in an extremely beautiful position with views every direction. The cottage itself is clean and comfortable and has everything you need for your getaway. Lovely walks direct from your back door. Located in an excellent position - local villages have everything you need The whole area is clean and well kept 5*

Really wonderful stay can’t fault our accommodation or location. Thank you exceptional equipment in the holiday let, clean, comfortable bed, sofa and chairs. Owners are so welcoming it was nice to see. Fantastic wildlife and natural views. Especially at night with views of the galaxy, bats and owls. What a fantastic holiday. Thank you

This holiday accommodation is situated in a stunning location, offering beautiful, peaceful views and a large outdoor area to really enjoy them. The owners were very helpful, super patient, and kind to my kids. They explained the farm work and let us get to know their lovely ponies and cattle. I highly recommend this place. It is one of our best family holidays!

Another great holiday booked via Holidaycottages.co.uk - great properties. I particularly like the many filters so I can get straight to properties that suit my exact preferences without having to do endless searches. Any queries are dealt with promptly and professionally.

Lovely place, with just a few comments:
1. No salt/pepper in condiments containers - would be nice to have these basics, also olive oil?
2. You mention a nice coffee machine in the info but there was only Nescafe Instant coffee available - we're all coffee devotees so was a surprise not to see any.
But overall, a lovely place, with a great hot tub and nice views, safe for our dog and overall, just a lovely time.
Also, we left something in the cottage when we left and Lisa is kindly posting it on to me, thanks for that.

We loved our stay here. The lodge was quiet and private with beautiful surroundings, with lots of nature to observe. The lodge itself was decorated and furnished to a high standard and comfortable for 6 adults. The kitchen was well equipped and we were met with a welcome bottle of Prosecco and tea/coffee and treats for our dogs. The hot tub and sauna were well maintained and made our stay much more enjoyable. We would definitely book to stay here again and recommend to others.

We had a nice stay

It was Roy. Not only is he a consummate professional but he has kindness as his middle name. Not only is his property lovely, with absolutely everything provided to make your stay lovely, but he does not intrude. He quietly ingratiates himself into your week so you know when the bins need to go out, so you know when the gardener is coming to visit so she doesn't intrude. The property is lovely and clean, the bathroom is huge, and the area itself is lovely

Very enjoyable holiday. However as previous occupants have stated, it needs a deep clean.
