Spent too much time trying to figure out how to access applicants resumes.
Gave up.......
The system was terrible. The web portal is confusing and not easy to manage. The biggest issue was that they sent me 20 candidates that they "suggested" might be a good fit. It was not clear that these people did not apply. I contacted 8 of them and only 1 responded and had no idea about the job. I recommend Indeed.
Advertising with Monster for a medical assistant position for a small practice in St. Petersburg in Florida is ineffective and waste of money and time. We have not received a single candidate's resume that have the qualifications or the requirements of the position we advertised for. Also, we have not received candidates from a close by zip codes. We are very disappointed with the results and the promises that Monster give. We will not recommend using Monster for small businesses nor will we use hem for future adds.
All the resumes I'm receiving do not include what I'm requiring on the job listing. It's unfortunate!
Horrible service, rude people, no one answers you and the product is badly explained.
none of the candidates that applied (which were few) could speak Spanish, which was a requirement of the vacancy
Monster claims they match people not key words. The majority of applicants for a field position in excavating were applying for administrative employment.....Totally opposite ends of the spectrum..... All due to one word in the ad. (assistant). Be careful of your wording. I did call and have the wording changed the person who "assisted" me was professional and helpful. I wonder if she replied to an ad on Monster!!!
Monster had far fewer applicants for my position than other sites I used. It was expensive - and most, if not all of the applicants were not qualified for the position I advertised.
So . . . not many applicants and there wasn't one person who I would consider interviewing.
no matches sent to me but if i look at resumes there is several matches but they want me to pay again to view those
Was overcharged .Multiple attempts made to salesperson to return my call.He finally did with a promise of a return call and he did not follow through with that. Im still owed money and have contacted a lawyer.
This is the first time using the Monster platform and I am not a fan. It is not intuitive or user friendly as platform. There are much better and platforms that are free that do more and have greater access to qualified applicants.
All of the job offers were from people in other states. Total waste of money.
How many
Posted a job and received zero results. The free resume views that were included were not close to fitting qualifications for the job I was looking to fill. Very expensive recruiting tool.
It's not really help with recruiting I didn't even get any one .
I basically just paid a bunch of money to put an ad on a website. I got only one application. I have paid a lot less on other sites and got over 100 applicants for the same job listing.
