i have been with them almost 1 year now this is 3rd time my phone has gone down have sent a few emails they dont even answer will need rethink when contract is over never had any trouble with company was with before.

Matt from HB called to discuss the situation this morning.
Was professional, addressed my concerns, explained what had went wrong and why & was just all around very pleasant to talk to. A credit to HB and sets the bar for great customer service.
All my issues have now been resolved and I'm now delighted to renew with Highland Broadband.
I still hope more can be done to improve how we can communicate issues to HB. The current hours of telephony operations are limited and finding an email address or contact form is more difficult than it should be.
Can't fault the internet service itself as bar a couple of wider spread issues within the last 24 month(that all ISP's encounter)... it's been spot on and has changed our lives.

Possibly the worst renewal experience I've ever had... For anything.
I received a phone call from highland broadband last week to confirm that I was happy with my renewal offer that I had received.
I was a little confused as I had not received any offers or any emails from highland broadband. The person I spoke to claimed I must have, as I had already selected a package.
I reconfirmed I had not selected anything nor had I received a single email. The call handler could not confirm what email the offer had been sent to or any of the contents of the email as it had been closed of.
His response was a very short "Do you have another email that you check" - felt like it was being implied that I was just at it.
I confirmed I check my emails multiple times every day and I get all the emails about referring friends.. so my access isn't an issue. However I provided another email to be safe.
He then rhymed of the "offers" - which are not actually offers - it's just full price for the speeds they currently have available. I asked if what he had offered on the phone was the same as the email.. and i got a very diplomatic answer that the prices quoted on the call are what's available in my area. Not exactly a yes or a no and he moved the conversation on.
I was on my way to a very important appointment so I stated that I did not want to pay more. He confirmed he would pass my details on to the back office team who would email me. All in all I felt the call handler just sounded like he wanted off the call as quicky as possible.
I called back the next day as the whole thing seemed very odd... Particularly the bit where highland broadband have seemingly just renewed my contract on my behalf. Big time sketchy!!!!
The next agent confirmed there was notes on the system to say I spoke with his colleague yesterday and I would receive an email about my renewal later that day.
I questioned the renewal prices and he confirmed that "like other providers - offers are reserved for new customers only" but that they had "upgraded" me to a faster speed free of charge. When in reality they've removed the package I was on.
It's nice you can speak for other providers... I've always had retention offers from sky, Plusnet and talk talk. All highland broadband have offered is news that they've introduced mid contract price hikes.
Very much a company who knows they have no real competition and can charge and do whatever they feel like. However I do not appreciate being told I've done something when I haven't...
A week has passed and I've still not received any emails about my renewal.. I've tried calling but it's impossible for me to speak to someone as their contact centre is only open Monday to Friday / 9am-5pm... even though the recording says they are open til 6pm. What use is only opening when most people are at work!!! I've been told I'm fifth in the queue and it will take 10 minutes... But in reality I've been on hold for almost my entire lunch break (30 mins) and have to give up.
I have no idea if my package has actually been renewed or not.. or what I will be paying going forward. Even when I speak to someone it just feels like you will be fobbed off.

Really happy with the customer service from Jordan and Richie. They set it all up and Jordan patiently talked me through it all and helped me get the app setup on my phone.

Hi the two men that came to fit my broadband were really friendly very professional explained everything and connected my appliances as well both Richie and Jordan were very helpful and made sure everything was put back the way it was. Even showed me what they had done outside they deserve a pay rise

Internet worked fine with previous company. Now I cannot get more than 10minutes internet at a time with an ethernet cable. Tried to phone customer service, after waiting 2 hours and a half, still no answer. Will probably be cancelling for something else.
