So disappointed in this service

So disappointed in this service. There was a period of time when things were getting better, but lately they have completely fallen apart again. At this point I am going to have to switch providers.
There have been times when the nurse/provider just doesn't show up for an appointment at all. Which is a total waste of time. Then the months where they forget to actually send out the medication and you can't reach anyone. They are putting people at risk by not providing good service. I appreciate it being free, but there has to be better companies out there. I am going to try Q Care or Freddie. If anyone has any suggestions let me know, b/c I am done with Mistr.

Absolute Clown Show

Absolute Clown Show, I wouldn't let these fools operate a coloring book. Their customer service is the worst. They don't have the competence to understand what is being communicated. From Sept to Jan received only (1) bottle of Prep and (1) Dox. Find your supplies somewhere else. I can only imagine the how furious I would be If I was paying for this service. Find another source.

Excellent experience

Excellent experience. The ease of access to doctors and clinical services as well as simple medical queries is amazing!! I wish I had this kind of care with Northwestern Medicine and my primary physician

MISTR has made it so easy!

MISTR has been so easy to work with! My medication is always on time, their customer service is fantastic, and not a single cent has had to come out of pocket. If you need PrEP this is the best service for sure!

The experience is awesome

TRASH

JUST NO. Mistr started out great and easy to work with. Latley there is no communication. Extremely difficult to get sceduled testing and meds on time. Its a fight every 3 months that takes days and days to get answers on. Reaching on in support chat is useless, as it seems they do not even read your message before replying. I have been without meds for over a month a now and still no help.

Top Notch and Secure

I’m not sure why the ratings aren’t higher! This service is great. I get my meds on time and early, testing at home is somewhat fun. I hate the blood drop chart 😂 but I get it done. I just hope I have blood in my fingers when it’s time to take the test. Keep those extra lances for that one finger that won’t give blood. I’m 4 months ahead on my supply so if I travel, I won’t worry that I’ll run out. They are a fantastic service. And fast. The medication does what it’s supposed to do and for that I am grateful. I’ve been with them for 2 years. I’m with someone who is HIV positive. Like I said, grateful to have this.

Great public service, but occasional communication issues

Mistr is offering a great service for free but there are communication issues. I had a bad kidney test result and they informed me in an email that went to my spam folder, and they proceeded to send another prescription. So in essence, I had a concerning bad test result, I did not acknowledge that I was not aware of it, and they continued sending prescriptions.

Left without medicine multiple times

I had ongoing delays with MISTR for prescription renewals, refills, and insurance updates. Each request often took several days, with back-and-forth between customer service and the pharmacy, and responses were inconsistent. I ran out of medication multiple times because refills were not processed on time. When I raised a complaint, the resolution offered was limited, and the issue was not resolved promptly. In contrast, switching to Freddie provided immediate access to my medication and more consistent support

Ease of access

Ease of access. On time, every time. Very responsive. Couldn't ask for more responsive and attentive care than that provided by Dr McCartney. Going on 5 years now and very pleased with Mistr.

Convenience with my busy schedule

My messages are responded in a timely manner. I also enjoy not having to deal with long lines with in-person testing (sometimes having to wait another day because of my busy schedule). The results take a little longer to receive due to mailing, but that’s expected.
