KC took my direct debit twice

KC took my direct debit twice. This has resulted in an unauthorised overdraft, bank charges and money gone that I desperatley need to keep my head above water. Despite being promised a refund in 2-3 working days it is now a week and nothing received. I presume this is because they are totally incompetent or just don't care.

Horrible experience..

I had changed to KC a month ago ever since installation it has been slow and dropping out occasionally.
Last Thursday night it went off I rang friday but to no avail eventually after multiple calls they sent an engineer. He slated the installation and got it going.
An hour later the faults returned.
I have no Internet for a week I've had 2 days off, one for installation , one for engineer, I still have no service.
I asked to speak to a manager, they would not let me or even give the name of a manager.
They demand I take more time of (this will be unpaid) next week.
I was informed that if I left they would charge me £197.00 to leave a service i am not receiving.
The people seem fine and I know its not their fault but they are working for a mafia style business and once you signed with them you are screwed.
Stay clear, save money, time and heartache by going elsewhere.
Absolutely abysmal service.

In any other business if you go to a breakdown and you get it going and it fails again, you sort it out without delay. Not these cowboys.
I reckon this whole episode will cost me over £500. + plus whatever they try to charge when or if I leave.
If it still off end of next week it will have been off almost as long as its been on.

Good fibre deal... And reliable!

After being led a merry dance by Open Fibre and the God awful Fusion Fibre, both of whom failed to show up on installation day, I rang KC about the local competition and comparatively high price I was paying KC for internet and landline. Wish I'd called them years ago... Negotiated new contract offering same speed for same price as the new fibre providers, and a new free router! I think they need to advertise more that they can compete in the fibre market, as there is misguided notion they are overpriced and outdated. Anyhoo, KC has what most fibre providers definitely don't have: infrastructure, local customer service, and responsive tech support. Try ringing Fusion Fibre when they don't turn up for install and see where you get...
Will update on delivered speeds with the new router ;)
Customer Service A1, Sammy and Tom responsive, efficient, knowledgeable and personable, :)

Constantly let down with service

Constantly let down with service. Once the so called full fibre WiFi goes, so does the landline. No caller display. Nobody there to help after 8pm. They say they will adjust the bill for loss of service, but still waiting. Wish I had stayed with the old copper system.

This is a monopoly in Hull that the people used to own.The labour council sold it off and in doing so handed the reins to a private company. This company makes it difficult to let competitor in by charging exorbitant fees to competitors, so that can keep charging exorbitant fee to the people that cannot go elsewhere. This should and is illegal but they get away with it. At least Dick Turpin wore a mask
