Great service from both Brennan Goodwin and Leona Currie on quite a complicated expat BTL application. Dealt with very professionally even though my circumstances were quite complex.

I'm a very fussy customer when it comes to who I choose to help me with my financial affairs. Heron haven't put a foot wrong in the 10 years I've been dealing with them! Aidan & Neve work really hard to get me fabulous deals, and then process them with an absolute minimal amount of involvement from myself! I wouldn't go anywhere else for a mortgage. I was recommended by a friend to find out more information and as a first time buyer I don't think I could have asked for much more from Heron, especially Kane and Leona. From initial feasibility conversations with Kane, I quickly understood what I could borrow which helped me have a focused search when viewing properties armed with a mortgage in principle. I even had to pull out of a property due to structural concerns following offer acceptance and both reassured me about the process and next steps. Throughout the mortgage approval process, Leona kept me informed and advised on every step which just put me at ease.

Within 2 weeks of having an offer accepted on my new property I had the mortgage approved and was referred to both buildings insurance and income protection. All of this just helped speed up the conveyancing process. Will use again definitely and a big thanks to both!

From start to finish Heron were fantastic with us from the initial stages of us filling out our paperwork to then actually applying for our mortgage. Kane was there on the other end of the phone everytime we needed him. When he wasn’t available immediately he would always call back the next opportunity he could. As first time buyers who had no clue what was going on Kane put us at ease and no question was ever a stupid question he answered all promptly. Rachel took over during the underwriting stage and again was brilliant. Unfortunately we had difficulties with our initial potential lender (6 weeks at this stage into the application) but Kane’s quick thinking led us to apply with another lender. At this stage Zara took over and was equally as fantastic and 5 working days later we had our mortgage offer. The relief we had when Zara called me personally to congratulate us will always be a special moment. And to top it all off Heron are FREE!!! Amazing service that’s also free what more can you ask for. We were recommended to use Heron from family members and I will also be recommended them. Thank you Kane, Rachel and Zara.

Kane and Zara were very professional and on top their game. They took their time to explain everything to us in simple language to make sure we make the best choice. They were always available to answer all our questions.
