Hélity causes loud noise downtown Torremolinos
Really awful experience with the Hélity helicopters that somehow pass over downtown Torremolinos at a very low altitude. About ten times a day. We have seen the Helity helicopters pass over the densly populated city as low as 500 feet or 150 metres multiple times a day. It gives a tremendous amount of noise so bad the windows are shaking. The helicopters they fly are not suited to fly so low over a city for the incredible amount of vibrations they cause.
The official VFR route via point PW-1 lies much farther north along the A7 at an altitude between 1000 and 2000 ft (600 metres), where they are less likely to cause excessive noise. If they want to divert from that route they should maintain a minimum of 1300 feet (400 metres) above populated areas according to airlaw regulations (EASA). Unfortunately Hélity pilots never follow that route.
The pilots and the Hélity company should be more responsable for the environment and the nuisance they cause and choose a different route and avoid populated areas at such a low altitude. Hélity are putting their passengers and the people on the ground at risk and cause a tremendous amount of noise.
