We had the recommendation for HCB from a friend of ours and have not regretted our choice to use them.
Rupert at HCB Legal has been fantastic at all times, the communication has been brilliant. We have never felt out of the loop at any time- emails, phone calls etc. The correspondence and attention to our sale of property has really been second to none,the whole process felt so much easier than I anticipated so feeling very grateful! My acting solicitor, Chris Bowesman, managed to get the transactions completed very smoothly without any stress to myself, which is so important for me when you have work commitments and are short on time. I was really impressed by the fact that if I had any questions or queries, Chris would be available on the phone when I called, or would call me himself to explain matters rather than going back and forth via email chains. This is not service I’ve received previously with other firms so it was extremely appreciated.

HCB extended a lease on a flat for us. Despite our mortgage company being obstructive, HCB persisted and were able to extend the lease with little hassle to us. We have used HCB before for other services, and we would use them again without hesitation.

Being a first time buyer I was worried about finding the right solicitor, especially as I had heard so many horror stories and had no idea what I was doing! There was no need at all to worry though, Louise Trist from the Gatwick group talked me through every single step of the way and explained all the legal jargon in laymans terms, ensuring I was well informed all the way through the process. I am delighted to write this review for Chris Bowesman of HCB. Chris recently helped me with both the sale of my property and the purchase of my new one. There was a tight deadline, which had some challenges. Chris was very easy to work with, his direct no-nonsense approach meant I had complete confidence and stress levels were kept to a minimum. I thank him for his work as a solicitor and the added bonus of his humour to keep things in perspective.
