I ordered climbing shoes from hardloop on October 15th, expecting delivery between October 20th-21st, as advertised on the website and in the confirmation email. My old shoes started splitting and I needed new ones on 23rd or worst case would use old ones on 23rd and most certainly needed new ones by 30th Oct. I chose hardloop over 4-5 shops that according to idealo/geizhals offered similar prices because their delivery times were slightly quicker and their return policy seemed better. I could choose home delivery or delivery to store and chose delivery to store, because I just had an experience a couple of months ago where I was working from home the whole day and a delivery person marked my delivery as "attempt failed" without ever ringing the bell, so I wanted to be sure this wouldn't happen here. According to the confirmation email the delivery was done by dpd, but the tracking number and website were from chronopost.
The shoes were supposed to be delivered to a Media Markt store, but chronopost marked the delivery as "failed" despite the store being open. I spoke with multiple employees and am 100% sure the store was open during the time that was marked as failed delivery attempt in the chronopost tracker. The tracking system was broken from that point on, chatbot was claiming first that it would still be delivered on 21st, then on 22nd it was claiming "will be delivered on " with no date, then it was claiming it will be delivered on 23rd. Only issue is that according to store employees they would be getting no deliveries on 23rd. I contacted hardloop’s customer service and got nothing, just unhelpful, canned responses. They never looked into the issue or offered any real help.
While I think most of the delivery problems were due to chronopost, it’s hardloop’s responsibility to choose a reliable delivery company and provide support when something goes wrong on their part. Instead, they offered no assistance, I am only getting my money back after more than a month to date. No apology, no acknowledging the failure on their part, no nothing.
In the end, if they at least informed me correctly in time that delivery failed on no further attempts will be made I could have still ordered something online at a similar price and received the order by 30th, they could've even sent the second package themselves. Instead I ended up having to pay more than 10 euros more at a store locally and even that only due to a first time discount, normal price would be another 10 euros higher. But given the experience with hardloop I would much rather pay the difference and avoid the level of service that hardloop decided to offer in my case.

Good Shop. In the First Place not really transparent about the delivery date. In my experience I had to wait over a week, while there was no status activity, and finally status changed to delivered. The deliver itself was very fast. but good products and fair prices. Can recommend!

The ordering part was with a small hiccup nicely handled by the customer support.
I had a discount code that got expired between adding the goods to my shopping cart and trying to finalize the order. The system was not providing the clear explanation of what was happening, but the customer support did explain it to me, and even issued a one-off discount code for me, for the identical amount.
It all went much less nicely when it came to delivery. The order was placed on Sept 15th, the expected delivery date was between Sepot 26th and 29th, and the goods were meant to be a gifr for my wife's birthday on Oct 2nd. I was constantly assured by the CS that the order was on track despite it not being shipped for weeks. It ended up being shipped Oct 1st, and arriving Oct 8th.

They didn't send out my order, and didn't respond to my emails /contact forms. They didn't pick up the phone, no matter how many times I called. I had to request refund via paypal.

Package was delivered with DPD. It was not delivered to door although I was home the whole time. This is ALWAYS the case with DPD.
