This is not a 5 star hotel I’m afraid, (it’s barely a three star) so consider that before parting with your money. They charge 5 star prices but don’t come anywhere close to it.

The stay my wife and I had was blighted by rude staff (although to be fair, it was just the one older gentleman - the rest of the staff were fine) and numerous issues with the room e.g. no WiFi (the signal was fine at reception but did not reach our room), several faulty plug sockets, very feeble shower, to name just a few. There was also an unearthly, repeating noise before 8am every morning.

There’s no parking at the hotel (see picture on Google which shows hotel entrance and on street parking) and the street outside is very narrow and can only accommodate 3 or so cars. The hotel may overlook the harbour but it is far from the town centre so its location is also bad.

All in all a very disappointing stay, one that I won’t be repeating at this hotel I’m afraid, especially considering there are better hotels in Newquay that are better located and better priced.
