I don’t have anything negative to say about my experience. I received my Patio Gazebo Fromm Domi. Everything arrived in great shape. Once the installer was found the installer kept communication with me. Showed up, did an Excellent job and I couldn’t be happier. The installer was professional and a very hard worker!

Book the appointment then got an email from one of their installers saying that they could not do the appointment because "Handy buddy takes too long to pay"... FIXTMAN, is who u need to contact, reliable service, was $30 cheaper and it was on time.... Completely satisfied with FIXTMAN, u won't be disappointed

This company is contracted other companies to find technicians to complete home projects. They call it an "Expert Marketplace", but you are just being matched with another company who will send out a completely random person. You might as well get on CraigsList.
I was quoted a price of $595, to later find out that the price from the company I matched with was $440, to find out that the technician was keeping $220 of this payment.
Now, with all of this overhead money, I would at least expect absolute 5 star service from start to finish. There is almost zero communication from the company whatsoever. My appointment was not even confirmed until 2.5 hours AFTER the technician had shown up to my home. They failed to communicate to the technician that the job was a 2-3 person job.
The technician did manage to complete the job, despite needing a second person. Completely understandable that it took an entire 8 hour day of work for one person to do a 2-3 person job. Does HandyBuddy care? Absolutely not. The $155 upcharge I paid does not go to the company contracted (FixTMan) or the technician. And it certainly doesn't go towards customer service. The emails I received when inquiring about the cost discrepancy look like they were written by a elementary student.
They completely deny that there was any discrepancy in quotes, which is expected from a business utilizing such predatory techniques on consumers and contracted technicians alike.
Their phone just rolls to an automated message asking you to go online or email, so don't expect to be able to talk to a human for the premium price either.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. First, they claimed they wouldn't charge my card until after I was satisfied with the product. WRONG - they charged my card the day BEFORE the installation. When I cancelled a second installation due to lack of confidence, they again charged the card the day before the supposed installation - I'm waiting for a refund to this day. AND, they don't use certified installers. For our project, one installer showed up who had never done the assembly of our gazebo before. A second installed didn't show up but his boss asked if "he should look for someone on Craig's list" to help the sole installer. That is not a certified expert.
