BEWARE: Raguel Welch Mesmerized wig, difficult to get refund from faulty product
I purchased Raquel Welch Mesmerized wig, color rl19/23ss shaded biscuit 3.10.2023, received it 17.10.2023, noticed immediately error in thickness, took photos and contacted the seller on the same day.
Hairweavon Tiffany answered next day, 18.10. and after frustrating conversation i returned the wig to given return address 19.10.2023 by my own expence.
Hairweavon refused to send me free return label, although i showed the lack of hair by photos.
Hairweavon said at first that because i fitted the wig, i could not return or get refund for it.
This is ready to wear out of box, straight hair including free parting wig, imbossible to alter it any way by fitting.
I fitted the wig once using the wig cap and took photos from the wig using a manneqin head.
After the discount 10 % the wig cost 314 euroes plus return 23,90 euroes.
However, i got return address and the seller told they will send the wig to the manufacturer. They told that my photos were not enough to explain error in thickness.
The crown of the wig was so thin in other side, that parting the hair looked like alopecia.
The back of the wig was also faulty, too little amount of hair, some movement and the base of the wig was easily seen.
I told to the seller, that it does not really matter what the manufacturer says, the wig is simply too thin to be weared with confidence.
My photos from the wig don't lie, nothing can not change the truth.
I am glad i took photos, they prove my point.
I realized i must contact to PayPal resolution center and i am now waiting for solution.
5.11.2023: PayPal refunded 314 euroes to me, but i am not fully satiesfied, because i had to pay returncost 23,90 euroes. This faulty wig purchase experience was only losing money and time.
Hairweavon denied all the time, that the wig was too thin, although "alopecia"-photos....

Per our return policy, we are unable to provide return labels for any purchased items. Our policy states that you are welcome to return an item to us if it doesn't suit using a courier of your choice at your own expense.
We are happy to send your wig along for quality inspection to the manufacturer, but we will need to receive the item in the store first before we can initiate your refund or any next steps.
Due to the highly sensitive and hygienic nature of our products, we are unable to accept a returned item once it has been worn in order to maintain our strict standards of health and safety.

Abusive charges when returning an item
We made a first purchase that went well.
However, the second time we returned the product because it was quite different from what it appeared to be in the photos. By doing so:
1. We had to do it quickly because it had to be delivered to them within 14 days, despite de Directive 2011/83 of the EU clearly states that "...the consumer shall have a period of 14 days to withdraw..."
2. HairWeavon withheld €25.00, as “compulsory restocking fee”, as well as €19.00 of delivery costs (despite having exempted them in the order). The same Directive states that "...the trader shall reimburse all payments received from the consumer, including, if applicable, the costs of delivery..." and "the consumer shall only bear the direct cost of returning the goods..."
Therefore, we can only conclude that this is not a trader that can be trusted.
