I purchased a $4,000+ Bodycraft U1000 Upright Bike from Gym Source, located on Railroad Avenue in Greenwich, CT. The purchase experience was wonderful, and then the bike was delivered. Within hours of delivery, I noticed the base of the bike was terribly scratched. I immediately contacted the sales representative, who then contacted his logistics team and then supervisor. His reply was, "Are the base scratches on the metal or top plastic portion? If on the plastic, I see my floor model has similar swirl-like scratches on it too. This might be from putting your sneaker on it while getting off / on. Instead of shiny plastic they should have a matte finish or metal steel." Really?! Accusing me of causing the damage? Who does that?! Net, net, they did absolutely nothing to repair the bike! Pass the word, I know I will.

Ordered dumbbells in late December with an original due date of early January. Not only did the dumbbells not arrive but they also didn’t communicate they would be delayed. The delivery date kept getting pushed back 1 month for several months until the end of April when they then told me it’d be May or June. Terrible experience, terrible customer service.

so far one of the worse customer base companies Ive dealt with, Id recommend dealing with another gym equipment company, several to choose from, id just stay away from them, some equipment I suspect was used and other weights and pieces have never been delivered as promised. customer service ghosts you and the "call you back" never happens.
BEWARE: 7 weeks now and I have not received my order
I placed my order on Jan 6, 2021 and I have still not received my order. It is going on 7 weeks and the website says 3-5 weeks. I have sent numerous emails and not one reply back. I also called the phone # just to a leave a voicemail and again no reply back. Today when I went to their site - it was unavailable. Now I am really worrried??? If there is a delay just let me know when I can expect it.
For those of you that ordered and the shipping was delayed - did you ever get your items or are you still waiting like I am?

BEWARE!!! I purchased my treadmill and in 6 months after install needed repair. I had a horrible time getting anyone on the phone and to respond. When I finally did get techs to come here they misdiagnosed the problem and it took forever to get parts. They then put it back together 3 different times improperly over 2 months! Missing nuts and bolts, the heavy machine installed on top of the power cord, wires left loosely unattached and improperly installed that I was later told was a fire hazard as it was near the motor. One phone call to the manufacturer of the machine and I got another repair team here ASAP, Gym Tech. Within a week I had all new parts, and repairs done efficiently and effectively that Gym Source could not seem to get, in fact made worse with each visit, over months!

We originally bought our universal gym from Gym Source. Fine. However, when we moved, we hired them to take down and set it up in our new home. Take down was $350. Set up was $425. VERY DIFFICULT to schedule them to set up. Took WEEKS. THEN, when it was set up, the cables had slack and rubbed against each other. Impossible to get FRANK to schedule them to fix the issue. Had to hire GYM SOLUTION (845-605-1210) to come fix it. Called FRANK at GYM SOURCE to ask for a refund of his work. He said he would call me back. Now he doesn't pick-up the phone. GYM SOURCE = RIP-OFF!!
Seek gym equipment elsewhere
I ordered a barbell with plates back in late march. I understand the reason for production delays due to COVID-19; however, their inability to communicate with their clientele is beyond frustrating. I had contacted them on multiple occasions seeking a potential time frame. Initially it was late May, then early June, then late June, and here I am in early July with no update. It’s as if the order made no progress since I had purchased it. I rather the company tell me that they have no idea when the order will be fulfilled then string me along to prevent me from cancelling my order. In bold lettering they mention they will get back to you in 5-7 business days regarding an update on your order. I did not receive any email on an update, I had to reach out to them multiple times.
Additionally, as most people have stated I do not like how they charge your card instantly. Especially if they were aware that the product would be on a 3 month back order. I stopped by the location near me and found that the store was replaced with another fitness store. If you are seeking gym equipment go elsewhere. You may have to pay more from private sellers but at least you won’t wait 3 months in radio silence.
Best Home Gym
There are many advantages of home gym, If you have your own home gym, you will pay more attention to your health and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and never have to share equipment or wait for a gym to open up.
Wow. This company doesn’t get it!
I’m disappointed in Gym Source but even more disappointed in myself for recently doing business with them again. In the past 2 years I’ve purchased from them commercial gyms and spent $50,000 with the company. I recently wanted a bike for my home. They screwed it up and really could care less about my lack of satisfaction. Here’s the big kicker - they know that I’m going to spend another $100,000 in the next year but it still doesn’t motivate them. Now just consider that you are a customer who does less business with them and imagine how poorly they will treat you!

Ordered a barbell over a month ago. Was told the product wasn't in stock and would take at least 3 weeks to be delivered.
No big deal. I requested a refund. Was assured it would be handled. This was a month ago. I've reached out three times via email. One time via phone where I was told no one can help me except for the email address I've been corresponding with.
Totally understanding of the whole covid19 situation, but processing a return is a digital task so this excuse holds no weight.
I would highly recommend NOT using this vendor for anything as they have not been able to handle a simple task. Will never buy from them again.
Unfortunately since they've done such a poor job refunding my money, I now have to be the crybaby who runs to the internet to leave bad reviews.
