Sgt Grit Marine Specialties Reviews 

I ordered a belt next day overnight air on Thursday, June 5th at 3:31pm CT.

I was aware the cut off was 2pm, and wrote them after ordering it on June 5th after cut off, and inquired about it coming by Monday.

No response June 5th during remaining Thursday business hours or Friday, June 6th, or over the weekend.

Today, Monday, June 8th, I checked the SHOP app tracking and it indicated the order was not fulfilled.

At this point there was no reason for it to be overnight and could have been 2 day, as it wouldn't make the uniform event.

So I wrote them again, and this time apologized for being angry at their not responding, but inquired why it wasn't fulfilled on Friday, but that if I didn't hear from them by end of day I would have my CitiBank CC to cancel the order.

They wrote back within 5 minutes of that note, but only responding to the first inquiry not the follow up that appeared to get them to respond, and said it takes 24 hours to fulfill and was going out today, Monday. This was at 12:09pm CT.

I had asked if they closed Friday, and should I then expect it Tuesday, and no answer. Attempted to call number it is was not working.

I am now reviewing their return policies and calling my CC company before end of day to discuss if I should just cancel the payment.

In this day and age of effective online retail, I found their policies unclear and their response containing a sense of dismissiveness without any sense of customer service concern or counter to change my perspective, or take accountability.

Find your Military Specialties elsewhere. Militarybest.com is one alternative I've used.

Very disgusted with the lack of support and communication from Sgt Grit. I ordered a shirt and paid extra for 2 day air. It has been over a week and my order has yet to be shipped. I have reached out many times and get no reply. However, I get plenty of promotional emails but not a single response to my requests. Don’t bother calling, as all of the numbers listed are no longer active. As a Marine Veteran, I am very disgusted and will never order from them again. Now to figure out how to get my money back…

Buyer Beware!!!! Ordered a hat and T-shirt, packed arrived with only t-shirt. Charged for both items...Tried 4 times to contact via email and web site but no response at all. Screwed out of $25.

Upon receiving final confirmation of my order I notice the order was incorrect. I called the number liste in their website and discovered it is a fake number with only a message they are busy. I tried calling several times leaving several massages. I attempted to reply to emails they sent to me and a notice popped up that you can not reply to their emails. Then I discovered that you must request assistance by filing a request on their website. I did this twice no response. It has been 9 days and no call, no email. no text NOTHING. If their customer service was as good as their accounting charging my credit card that would be great.
Since I have had this issue I have received 20 advertising emails. They are all about the money not customer service. This is not the same company from when the original owner operated it. As a Marine Master Sergeant we take care of our own has been the traditions we Marines live by. My fellow Marines I would be very careful about this company. I researched them and the new owners appear to foreign ownership.

Warning about purchasing from Sgt Grit.
I am a veteran who purchased a 3 x 5 USMC Veteran flag from this place.
Upon receiving it, I noticed that the logo on the flag was one-sided.
I was under the impression that the logo was on both sides. However, the website did not show it or mention it being one-sided.
I contacted Sgt Grit and informed them about the flag and that I wanted the logo on both sides.
They informed me that that’s the way the flag is. I could return it and be given a full refund.
Because they don’t have a return label, I had to write their address on an envelope and mail the flag to them.
They also asked me to let them know what the shipping charge would be so they would reimburse me for these charges.
Upon receiving the flag, they sent me an email stating the refund I was getting.
I don’t know how their math was done, but they shorted me a few dollars. Also, they did not include my shipping charges as promised.
I wrote back and mentioned the discrepancy, along with the missing shipping charges.
They wrote back, stating that because there was nothing wrong with the flag and it was me wanting to make a return, the shipping charges were on me.
Bottom line:
They never offered me an exchange with a flag with logos on both sides. I suppose they don’t have such a flag. Since they told me to go ahead and return it, they promised a full refund plus whatever shipping it cost me. The shipping cost is pocket change and not important, but it’s the principle of the matter.
I do not trust this company and I would not recommend anyone to buy from them, especially fellow Veterans. Customer service needs lots to be desired.

A few years ago ordered a T shirt and veteran Marine hat and was totally satisfied
9/3/24 ordered the same hat and was back ordered 3 weeks later
Still have not received my order and the hat is not on their website anymore
Will be finally requesting a refund

Just another company that doesn't care about customers service. If your a Veteran save your money. They don't help any veterans causes & a joke. The charge for shipping, they take there time to fill the order & send it out by dog sled. We keep them in business & we can shut them down.

When Grit came out, I was thinking this is really expensive. But Marines like their stuff. My last order and now final order was a joke. Wanted a custom Tshirt 0351 BAZOOKA (on one line) with ASSAULT MAN right below, on a black Tshirt. They said no problem. They sent BAZOOKAASSAULTMAN. So I contacted them and they said oops. Resent the order in a crappy color with crappy printing. Don't order from this chinese outfit. So much for Semper fi.

I placed an order on 12/21/24, they shipped a partial and l received it in a few weeks. Now it is almost the middle of March and I still have not received the balance of the order. I've called several times and I get a run around that stuff is on back order. It was duplicates of my ribbons and badges that l wanted to put on a U.S.M.C. coat. It is too late now even if l received them today because it is spring. A very condescending woman in their supposed customer service said l could cancel the balance of the order but l have already received half of my ribbons and it has been too long to return what they shipped in December. Terrible way to run a business. Never again!!!!!!!!!!!! I only gave them one star because it was the minimum. Semper freakin fi!!!!!!!

Wow!! I too wish I had read the reviews!!! How can they even be affiliated with the Marine Corps. I ordered a walking cane on Feb.11 ( not a novelty item I need it because I had surgery!!!) it is March 4. Do not order anything from them as much as you would like to have the item. Now I am trying to get a $40 refund and no one is responding to the emails!!

Wish I had read the reviews before I ordered. Don’t waste your money. Ordered December 29, 2024. Received one item out of a total of 4 items ordered. Last time I inquired, didn’t even get a response. Hard to believe that anyone associated with this company was ever associated with the Corps. Reminds me of a similar cadence. “I don’t know but I’ve been told …. Sgt. Grit is full of s—.”

This is a 0 rating!!! Took my money and I have received NOTHING!!! I have tried to contact them and they do NOT accept calls anymore. I feel like I have been scammed. I ordered Feb 3rd and have heard NOTHING! Semper Fi Marines and SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

I wish I read the reviews before ordering. Don’t make the same mistake. Two months has passed still waiting on my other half of my order. I even paid an extra 30$ to have it expedited. Asked if I can get that refunded was told no since I got part of my order.
Save yourself the headache.

placed an order in mid-November. shipping has taken a month - still shows my packages somewhere in Los Angeles where it's been for a week now. this was the bulk of my Christmas shopping and now I'm left without anything to give my son, stepson or husband. I will be filing charges and trying to get my money back from grunt clothing! what a rip off. Had I known this was a CHINA based company, I Neverrrr would have ordered from them. They won't answer emails either and I can't find any other way to contact them. Hopefully our new administration will end all of this mess and we will stop allowing the sell and purchase of china made products in our country.

I placed an order on 11.13.2024. I have not heard a thing about shipping of my order, I have sent three emails and so far have not received any replies. Tried calling, no good, no answer. This site is an obvious rip off site and I warn those to avoid Sgt Grit I cant find anything about cancelling this order and getting my refund. These people are rip offs and preying on Veterans. Sick SOB's!

I wish I would have checked the reviews before ordering. I didn’t because I have ordered over the years 100’s of dollars worth of quality merchandise. This time I ordered sweats and a puffy jacket, all with G&A along with Rank on the sweats for a retired Gunnery Sgt who was in the Marine Corps for more than 20 yrs. OMG what a disappointment. I won’t waste my time and aggravation on trying for a refund because they are ignoring all my emails. ALL the merchandise I ordered was made in 3rd world countries. Since when did this start. I’ve always had USA products. Live and Learn. I hope this Marine can over look GRIT’s unfaithfulness to his fellow Marine’s. No Semper Fi for Sgt Grit!!!!!

Ordered four T-shirts after three washes you couldn’t even see the emblems or what was supposed to be on there very very cheap Products I would not recommend ordering anything from Sergeant grit does not meet Marine Corps standards cheap junk

Order 2 tshirts and took close to a month to get.
Shirts are short and the same brand of cheap tshirt( GILDAN) you get from Hobby Lobby or a concert

I have ordered from. Grit a few times and the latest will be my last. Quality for price is not worth the experience.Sent a polo $80 which was surprise 100% polyester with a shotty sewn in patch. I am on the hook for return postage. Quality with the company is a problem. All my orders are foreign made. Semper Fi
