Refund refused despite returned parcel…
In response I absolutely stand by my review, other customers have had trouble with this company’s customer service, they are very rude and can’t provide any evidence to suggest that they sent or didkt receive the one pair of boots in question, it seems their go to is to blame the customer. Air with caution and perhaps use a more reliable company with better customer service. The company requires me to send proof of sending the parcel despite saying that they have received the parcel. I have been more than gracious and accepted that human error happens. Despite my graciousness I was met with poor attitude and accusations. What they are requesting from me (proof of sending) is completely irrelevant given that they have accepted the parcel back and all items sent to me were returned. For some reason Griport think they are above the law that the sales of goods act, consumer rights act and consumer regulations. There is no provision in the consumer contracts regulation that allows a retailer to reject a valid return. They have tried to use their returns policy to reject a valid return but they have accepted the parcel and I used the company they supplied the postage label for in the package. Given that it is a pre paid label most Royal Mail Drop offs at the local shops do not have the facilities to weigh the parcel, they merely scan and put a parcel in the relevant bag to be collected by Royal Mail. I by providing the label you are putting your customers at a disadvantage despite using the company you advertise. It’s either that the company didn’t send out the item or they have misplaced part of the return. Your company have a lega responsibility to make sure your services are accessible to all inclusive of the disabled community, Royal Mail collected the parcel and it made its way back to your company safely. If your claiming that something is missing from the box and I am very clear that what you sent want returned then perhaps your issue is with your chosen shipping provider. I have had no choice but to complain to trading standards and will be doing a section 76.it truly is a shame the company can’t just accept their fault to save this having to be done.
Refund refused despite returned parcel being received - Future customer's please read the reviews as it seems a lot of other customers have had issues with the poor customer services.
I returned my full order using the prepaid Royal Mail return label provided by Grisport, and the parcel was collected from my door by a Royal Mail courier. Grisport have confirmed receipt of the returned parcel, yet refused to refund the full order, claiming one item was missing.
All items received were returned together in the same box. The parcel was handed directly to Royal Mail, and delivery to Grisport was completed. This is therefore not a case of non-return, but a discrepancy Grisport claim to have identified after the parcel was received.
Despite this, Grisport relied on internal stock records and their own returns policy to deny responsibility, attempting to place liability on the customer. They insisted that because I did not obtain a Post Office counter receipt showing the parcel weight — despite using their own return label and a Royal Mail collection service — the responsibility “passed back” to me.
I have a disability and used Royal Mail’s collection service as a reasonable adjustment. Grisport acknowledged this service does not affect return rights, yet still refused the refund.
The matter was handled inflexibly and without regard to consumer rights. I am now forced to pursue the issue through formal escalation rather than customer service.
I would strongly caution others to keep extensive proof when returning items, as Grisport appear willing to deny refunds even after confirming receipt of returned parcels.

Ladies Glide Walking Boot - comfortable from the start
My original choice of hiking boot was OOS so I changed to the Ladies Glide Hiking Boot.
The process was simple from start to finish with excellent communication and I am delighted with my purchase!
I have had trouble with plantar fasciitis and my Achilles and these are just the job providing comfort from the very first walk. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to take many more walks in them…
New Walking boots
Purchased a pair of Fuse Lowland Trekking Boots recently. Fit like a glove! Arrived quickly. Will go for shoes next time
Comfortable boots and great customer service
Comfortable, stylish and well made boots and great customer service! I own three pairs already and have just ordered a new pair.
After enquiring about wider toes almost immediately my latest ones appeared in an email!
The socks are great too and free accessory pack is a bonus. Ordering is easy and delivery by DPD is quick.
Not the best experience - avoid
Faulty product, worse customer service
I purchased waterproof walking shoes from Grisport. After a month, one shoe started leaking – a clear manufacturing defect.
What followed was a masterclass in how not to treat customers:
- Reported the fault. No response.
- Followed up three times. No response.
- Escalated, which resulted in a response.
- Returned the shoes next day with provided label. No acknowledgement of receipt.
- Replacement dispatched, without informing me.
- I only found out a week later – because I followed up by
- The parcel is currently stuck with the courier. Grisport's response? "This is causing the delay, not us."
It's been nearly a month since I reported the fault. I still don't have replacement shoes.
I chose Grisport because Which? recommended them. I won't be making that mistake again.
Avoid.

Best Dog Walking shoes
Bought a pair of the Grisport Exmoor II walking shoes about two weeks ago. First, they are true to size, the 45 is an English 10 1/2, they are nice leather with soft finishing round the ankle so no rubbing, blisters or need for breaking in. Second, the weather has been wet lately and I confirm they are 100% waterproof! Third, they are a light weight shoe and can be worn comfortably round town and so not limited to country walks, all in all a perfect dog walking shoes for the winter - and I’ll wear them to watch the rugby as well! Will definitely buy from Grisport again!
Fuse -great trekking boots
The Fuse boots were comfortable straight out of the box and used on a 17 day Himalayan trek to the north and south base camps of Kanchenjunga.
They endured everything from wet muddy tracks in the rain forest to ice and snow at 17,000ft. Perfectly comfortable and sure footed throughout.
(Note - the boots were provided by Grisport for evaluation)
Yet another pair of quality walking boots
Yet another pair of quality walking boots, both of us have had. several pairs over the decade and wouldn't shop anywhere else for our outdoor footwear. Always quality boots, fast delivery and value for money. Only reason we keep changing them is that the sole wears out and now this latest pair seem to have a different tread pattern and construction, looking forward to getting them on and trying them out, whatever the terrain :)
Really great walking boots
Really great walking boots, just bought a 2nd pair even though the 1st pair are still going strong.
Warm, comfortable and dry. I would highly recommend this boots.
Bought the Grisport Aztec Boots
Alberta Brown Long boots
The fur lined Alberta Brown Long boots are so comfortable, that I didn't need days to 'break them in'.
They are warm and have a good grip, although I am yet to use them in icy conditions.
Really pleased with my third purchase of Grisport footwear
This is my third pair of Grisport boots/trainers. This time I purchased on line the wolf trekking boots. Order came quickly and I’m sure the boots will be used for a long time as my previous two pairs have been comfortable and very hard wearing. Well made and good quality boots.
Excellent service and prompt delivery…
Excellent service and prompt delivery of very comfortable Quattro brown hiking boots.
Wellies
Bought wellies: They're not expensive and are good value for money, would recommend for general use.
Have just bought another pair of gents…
Have just bought another pair of gents walking boots, size 7 Matterhorn and they seem really well made and sturdy, the ordering process was easy and delivery was very quick too.
They are a perfect fit and comfortable straight out of the box so have high expectations from these, will use them for a while and report back in a while
Grisport walking shoes
Phoenix Walking shoe. Having slipped on wet rocks and leaves wearing my old boots, I wanted to find walking shoes that had a good grip. These were a top buy in Which for grip. I have used them on wet rocks, crags, leaves and they are the best shoes I have had for grip. Comfortable and good value.
Happy with purchase
I purchased Grisport Aztec walking boots as they are wide fitting and also Which recommended. I was not disappointed. The boots fit well and are slightly lighter than my previous walking boots making them easier to walk in.
Grisport quattro boot 5STAR product
This is a review for the grisport quattro walking boot. I am now on my second pair of these splendid walking boots. They are a sturdy supportive boot with good quality leather uppers. They are a little stiff initially but this only lasts a few walks before they become a really good walking boot. I have used them on all terrains and find they support the foot and ankle really well. The sole is sturdy and relatively slip resistant. I find them to be fully waterproof as well. After 3 years of wear the old pair were starting to feel a little thin on the sole so replaced them with a new pair. I also use the grisport dartmoor walking shoes in the summer which again are excellent shoes. The leather has remained supple on both pairs and has resisted cracking. Excellent footwear
Livingstone Repeats
Purchase of my second pair of Livingstone shoes was simple and had the incentive of a nice Black Friday reduction. Brown last time, Tan this time, both 45 which fitted well on my wide foot. First pair have been very comfortable from the start, but after 4 years have begun to wear inside. Only issue has been trying to keep the laces tight, rather than end up with loose shoes.
Easy purchase and delivery
Easy ordering process, quick delivery and great pair of new walking boots.
Smooth customer service
Smooth customer service. Order was dispatched within 24 hours and received 48 hours later. Website is intuitive to use and easy to do so. I have had the gatekeeper boots for about 6 years now and still going strong. Hopefully the new shoes will equally last as long. Best price/quality brand I know.
