Grippy Tyres Reviews 

I usually use Hometyre but they no longer have a fitter in my area so after looking around on the internet and comparing prices and reviews I decided to try Grippy. The price of tyres for my BMW X5 seemed reasonable and I was pleased someone could come out on a Saturday.
I pay after fitting with Hometyre but they charge to pay by credit card. I had to pay Grippy on the internet straight away but no charge for a credit card.
I was informed that my fitter would contact me with a firm time on Saturday morning. Vytautas phoned around 10am saying he would be with me at 11.20 and he was spot on. He left my car on the drive to do the work. It was a very hot day but he worked hard and he was very polite and helpful. I had my wheels refurbished last month and I was a little worried they would be scratched or marked but I cannot find anything to complain about at all!
I will definitely use Grippy in future and I hope I'm lucky enough to get Vytautas too.
The work was done on 13th July but I've left my review for 2 weeks to see if I have any problems but it's all good and my car is still driving very smoothly.

On time, good communication fitter rang telling me enroute from previous fitting, polite, courteous and tidy. I was impressed that recommended company to son in law, who placed another order and received the same level of high service

Really good pricing and wide selection of tyres. The fitter was first class and really knew what he was doing. The job was perfect. Some issue with arranging the time but mostly due to outside problems and the M1 being blocked, stopping him getting to me on the first attempt. Rescheduled and all was fine.

VERY FRIENDLY VALUE FOR MONEY SERVICE EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION

Grippy was at my home on time in a clean modern van with all the equipment required to change and balance the tyres on the spot. I decided to have all my tyres filled with nitrogen for a small extra charge. The mechanic was professional as well as being friendly and helpful. All this without having to leave home as well as being competitively priced.

Had a problem with the initial booking for the tyres to be fitted to my Range Rover Sport, but it was easily rescheduled and at a time to suit me.
The fitter (Jay) was excellent and he came across really friendly and professional.
My wheels had rim protectors and he had not replaced tyres on wheels with these fitted before, but there was no "sharp intake of breath" as is so common these days when something out of the norm is encountered. He just got down and got on with the job of replacing the tyres.
As he said this was a first for him and he can now add this to his range of abilities.
I can't fault this system of having your tyres replaced. Everything was done on my drive and I was able to carry on my work while the tyres were changed. The prices charged were more than competitive with all the usual suppliers.
All in all why would you go to tyre garage and wait around, in not always the most clean and tidy environments, when you can have your new tyres delivered and fitted at a location and time of your own choice.

I ordered a tyre online to be fitted on Thursday 20th July between 1200-1700hrs. I received a confirmation email stating the driver would call to give a more exact time on the day which I thought would be great.
Well I waited in all afternoon on my day off and finally received a call at 16.55 advising that the driver had a had a day from hell and the earliest he could get to me would be 9pm ??
I'm a shift worker and thought a mobile tyre fitting service would be ideal but how wrong could I be .
The driver told me he would get the call centre to call me back to re-arrange another appointment. After 20 minutes I hadn't received a callback so I made the call myself. I explained my situation and was told that they couldn't fit me in til Monday as they were too busy over the weekend.
I advised that this was unacceptable and requested a full refund and was given a response of "sorry, what else can I say".
An absolutely shambolic service and complete lack of customer service - I will not be recommending this company to anyone.

Using Grippy is a convenient way to deal with many jobs over a busy weekend period. No waiting in a workshop with a poor cup of coffee from a vending machine, when the tyre fitter comes to you. This service frees up time to get everything else sorted, as you can get on with life at home.
The appointment time was missed due to an accident on the M25, but the fitter kept me fully informed as to when he was going to get to me, so it was not a problem.

I would certainly recommend this service to friends and family.

A excellent service from start to finish. After numerous sites Grippy.co.uk came up with the best tyre price along with a service to match.
A phone call early in the morning to let me know they were on the way and would be with me within the hour. Two tyres and tracking completed on my drive within 30 mins.

Good Service,polite but unfortunately forgot to change the valves only noticed it when I pumped the tyres up but got new valve caps.

I was looking for a hard-to-find tyre size. Grippy had them in stock and at a very good price. The fitter called twice to tell me he was on his way so I'd know exactly when to expect him. When he arrived and fitted the tyres, I couldn't fault the service in any way at all - friendly helpful and professional (I just felt a bitr sorry for him in the van as it was one of the hottest days of the year - didn't stop him being cheerful though) I will definitely use them again

I would really recommend grippy to everyone who needs their tyres changed as the gentleman they sent to me was very polite and helpful. As I don't know much about cars, he was willing to answer all my questions with ease and knowledge.

My road was too small to change my tyres so we had to drive to a bigger road which meant that when the process was complete, he had to wait for me to walk back to the car and he was very patient.

Another pro about grippy is that they call you before they come to let you know when they're coming which means you can plan your day around them instead of waiting around.

I was a little dubious about using Grippy until I read all the fantastic reviews, and what can I say? They were absolutely right. I received a phone call first thing to confirm my time slot, and another about half an hour beforehand to give me an exact time (and it was exact to the minute!). The fitter was friendly and polite, and checked all my tyres before fitting to make sure I was keeping the best ones. He even put the spare wheel back under the car for me without me having to ask. I can't recommend Grippy highly enough - fantastic value for money and some proper customer service!

Appointments cancelled on over three occasions, which wouldn't have been a problem if I was notified in good time, instead I was called towards the end of each scheduled appointment wasting a lot of time. They offered compensation, but told me they couldn't refund any of my payment as it was made online - this is a complete lie, as they had to do this further down the line.

When the service was finally delivered, the tracking couldn't be completed as the locking nut couldn't be released, apparently this happens a lot, so I question why they offer this service. This also would have been a lot easier at a garage where the car could have been raised to get better leverage or heat the nut. I was told I would be refunded the cost of the tracking, nearly three weeks later this hasn't been done. After chasing them up, they blamed this on the payment service.

The website and service seems so promising, yet is so so disappointing. Save your time and go to your local garage.

prompt friendly service, arrived exactly when they said they would, changed ALL FOUR TYRES while I was working, at my job site. Could not be more impressed with the service, the value and the friendliness.
