Honestly Grindr has to be one of the worst gay app I’ve ever used and been on

Grindr is so buggy Glitchy the app crashes doesn’t function properly the Location is wrong when I sent my Location to a guy it shows middle of the Pacific Ocean the app is now poorly designed how Grindr thinks people will pay their over priced membership is ridiculous

Grindr is nothing but a Greedy con app they have now put 95% behind a paywall and they force you to pay for it Albums are behind a paywall you can only see 5 for free then you gotta pay for it now basic features are behind a paywall you can’t even see who viewed your profile not without being forced to pay for it you can’t even select the age now it’s 3 year age gap

Honestly Grindr customer service is pitiful it’s nonexistent their is no help or support at Grindr

Honestly the way Grindr bans and treats people is Quite shocking banning people because someone complained about something if you politely rejected or don’t respond to someone or you let someone know you’re not interested they turn abusive and nasty they start abusing and harassing you then they complain to Grindr about you. You get banned for some made up reason and no actual investigation is done on your behalf by Grindr they don’t even bother to investigate or to check if it’s a valid reason or if what the person said its actually true their customer service will accuse you of stuff you haven’t even done and they will try to Guilt trip you into believing you did it so I’m supposed to believe some Radom stranger on the internet telling me I’ve done something wrong or said something it’s that’s why I’m banned but they won’t provide any evidence of wrongdoing and they won’t Listen to my side of the story Grindr and their support act like they know everything that happened

1, 70%, of the time won't load grid means either close down app or alot of the time reinstall

2, To many guys tapping you to promote onlyfans ect

3, Lots of people selling drugs or wanted to buy drugs you report nothing happens

4, Many males escorts saying available, never blocked or removed, why not have dedicated escort button and charge them a premium

5, If someone verbally abuses you then blocks you no way reporting this, unless chat still open

6, Why no finger print log in, instead email and and password

7, Stop moving quick links around gets confusing the favs one is tiny now, when you click on it takes ages to loads you favs

8, I can honestly say this worse app I every used, it's shocking bad and don't understand why it can't be sorted out

9, Done some feedback on app store in English and they replied in Spanish !!

10, I Reported someone four days ago for offering sex services and the report has not been been read

On the surface such a simple and good idea but Grindr is useless.
The Android application has to be rebooted 3-5 times just to establish my location. It has all the permissions needed and occasionally when they make an update it will work for a week or two, then the next update will wipe out the location functionality.
For a paid app it is beyond pathetic

Can't even write a message now without an advert popping up for 30 seconds. Slowly features are being removed to make it unusable. I used to be a paid subscriber but cancelled as they're costing is now astronomical my car insurance is less per year. Don't let them fool you by saying they're trying to keep it free with the adverts it's because they're trying to get more and more money out of this app as they can for their shareholders.

The app has been getting from bad to worse in recent months. The grid doesn't load, it has major problems in detecting the GPS position, the adds have killed the free version, on the other hand if you are a paying member you can enjoy visits from countless ghost profiles that push their websites (I can't believe Grindr can't do anything about it!), invitations to splashing even more mony on useless features like "Be noticed outside your area" or "load unlimited profiles" - as if...

The free version is very poor and useless. Same thing for the paying account: you can enjoy as many malfunctioning features as the free version.

All in all, a very very bad experience and I am talking technical. Don't get me started on the "social aspect" of it...

There is a general carelessness about the technical issues with apps at the moment, as if the guys behind these companies don't even care about the level of service they offer anymore. I am glad my subscription has just expired, I will not renew it, and so you should.

Ps: the technical guys will tell you to stop the app from the setting menu and clean the cache. Avoid getting in touch with them, save their time and yours.

Been using Grindr on & off for a number of years now since it first came out back then it was a brilliant app for Gay & bi men and men looking for men I was able to Talk connect & meet Gay & bi men and men looking for men but now it’s rubbish I went on Grindr tonight it’s now full of Women Couples married & straight men like what the F U C K i thought Grindr was supposed to be a Gay app for men to meet men

Honestly the way Grindr and their customers support Treat their users is shocking and disgusting banning people for no reason not providing a reason for the ban it’s insane the way Grindr bans their customers Grindr will ban you for no reason or for any reason if anyone reports or complains about you if you politely reject someone or you say Not interested people will falsely report you and make some pretend story up Grindr fails to investigate reports they don’t check the chat history or verify/validate a report to see if what that person says is True or not

Grindr claims to be the Largest app in the world with the most users but their reviews say a different story for a company with the largest customer yet their customer support is rubbish

Absolutely has become a trash app. Works give it a negative 500 stars if possible. Hope to see their stock price collapse to under 10 cents. The current management must be shit people. I hope karma gives them everything they deserve.

Extremely bad app. Always, always "Something went wrong..." or "Unable to determine your location". Restarting the phone is necessary for EVERY TRY to log in (which is not the case for other apps on my phone). Unbelievable that they still can make the lengthy, tedious commercials work every time.

Grindr is absolutely crap, you get bombarded with adverts in your messages, adverts when u click on anybody's profile,even when you open the app u get bloody ads, it's also expensive to upgrade etc, Profiles on there are not Verified, so u get guys/trans offering paid services etc, what used2 be a good dating app is ruined, the people who run grindr are only interested in making money, thats plan to see, no wonder it's getting negative reviews etc.

I am all for trans rights.But why are the trans community taking over what predominately was a gay man's app and has been 15 years. You don't see gay men on other trans apps, so why are you ruining an app that was made for gay men?

Totally disgusting. It doesn't work with vpn, profile cannot be hidden, it stays visible for 1 hour no matter what. It always shows your location, and we are not able to fake it, make it approximate or have some privacy whatsoever. If someone add you as favorite, he can always track your location and status without you even know they exist. Its a privacy nightmare. And also buggy, and without paying very restrictive.

I have been using Grindr for many years and subscribed to the Grindr plus app.
With that war in the Middle East french users have been very supportive of Palestinian cause and Hamas
I strongly believe that Grindr such be a non political site aimed for meeting gay men
The situation in France which has a huge Muslim population is harbouring the new pro Palestinian logo 🍉 and instead of doing the police against those profiles , Grindr sanctions user that are against the Palestinian cause and Hamas
Despite many attempts with Liv which seems to be pro Palestinian defending the Hamas cause I was not able to get my account back we all know what kind of treatment Hamas and Palestinian reserve to the LGBT community and I find Liv’s decision appalling

The app wasn't working properly so I removed it and installed it again but now I can't even access. It was shitty before but now....girls....please get your shit together

This app gets worse every time ! Now their abusive ads come out constantly and what's worse they limit each time how many people can be seen in the basic search .
You better improve considerably or many other platforms will take over and you will loose all your share. Act now or goodbye for ever !

After I raised my concerns about the attitude of Grindr, the support team surprisingly accused me of wanting money (at 59 years old) and banned me permanently. If you're frustrated, you might want to look for other alternate platforms. Elsewhere you don't have to pay exorbitant fees just to write with countless secretly "payboys" and you escape the data collection practices of the Chinese owner. There are better, more user-friendly options out there!

Dreadful capitalism of sexuality. An awful American voice invades using app. Whatever next? Grindr bosses will resort to it

Grindr is abusing its power!

Grindr has an outrageous attitude when it comes to blocking users without reason or transparency. They enforce unfair and inconsistent rules, leaving users powerless with no proper explanation. Privacy? That’s just an excuse to avoid accountability.

My account was blocked for no valid reason, and I demand it to be reinstated. How many others have faced the same unfair treatment? It’s time for Grindr to take responsibility and treat its users fairly!
