Management is a babysitter. These are presumably grown men on here.....?
Somebody gets upset about something, maybe it's political, maybe it's something else, whatever and then you get thrown off.
I need a man's app, we're grown men act like grown men.
Not men who go to the administration and complain about somebody hurting their feelings or somebody said something political that they didn't like..... Absurd idiocy.

When I think about them they are a bad app and I don't care about others all their people on there are rude to others and it's supposed to be a friendly app they 86 me because I did something wrong I didn't do anything wrong at all so I don't really care for that stupid app I like other ones because they're not rude to anyone else I like Growlr better the Scruff so yeah I'am done with them I will never go back on there again how they treated me because they the band my account

Deleted my account today. Lack of genuine guys & people asking for pics when they have none themselves.

What's the point in having profile text when guys just ignore it?

I reported being scammed and I was banned

Absolute waste of time. I signed up. Profiles on the site were NOT my type. I never messaged a single person or replied to one of the many messages. Some users were so persistent and kept messaging. Today I got an email from Scruff to say my profile had been suspended due to spam messaging. Really Scruff? Why do you not investigate these issues? Surely if you did, you may realise any spam would be from lack of security on YOUR side OR is it a situation where one of the persistent messages reported me for ignoring them? If so then you have made it too easy for nasty keyboard warriors to report people who do not respond to them. Sort your platform out because this kind of thing makes Scuff look bad.... NOT the user. To be honest, I dont give a @@ because Ive not even used your site for my personal gain.

I give it 5 stars and more because it is a gay hookup site like Grindr. What do gays expect. You get what you put out there. Yes I've met A LOT of not good people but look what country you live in. Quit complaining and build confidence and meet people at a store like me.

Very disappointed by Scruff. It use to be such a cool app. Now you get blocked for literally no reason. I have used no explicit pics or texts and have not contacted anyone. So I get blocked for no apparent reason, just general violation, which makes no sense as I have gone through their general guidelines and I am at a loss as to what is the issue.

I've been a member for 14 years and they just randomly suspended (banned) my profile for "SPAM". I barely use it. No one talks to anyone on there anymore. There are a ton of people like me with the same issue for suspension-for-no-reason. No one is on the app anymore and if they are, they log on, see that no one is on or responding, and then log off. What a joke Scruff has become.

My account was suspended without explanation, and after three emails over several days, I’ve received no response from Scruff’s support team.

I’ve reviewed the community guidelines and see no reason for the suspension. The lack of communication and transparency is incredibly frustrating for a platform that claims to value its users. I’m disappointed in the handling of this situation and hope Scruff improves its customer support processes.

Scruff could be the premium gay dating app but it's choked itself to death. Expect no users online in your grid. About 80% of users make a profile, see it's a dead and leave. Scruff have done nothing to fix this problem and they have years and years to beat the competition.

The international section made sense when it was a new app. To make it app look busier -- its just a waste of time now. No point in chatting to someone 11000km away.

Buying a membership is useless because the guys are not online. Most people you message will never return and the profile is abandoned.

The ones that actually use the app, you'll get 70-80% replying.

In 15 years I have had 2 meets from Scruff (thats how bad and abandoned it is). I had no meets with a paid membership.

The good thing is your messages are delivered and the app works. It's been crippled to uselessness.

For Scruff to have any chance of success these need to change:

- more profiles on the grid
- shorter time that the users remain on the grid
- allow blocks (another crippled feature)
- focus on close to you not 11000 km away

There must be enough active free users to make a membership worthwhile. Messaging abandoned profiles is a waste of time.

As long as they continue the formula of make people think they will meet someone, take their money and hope they forget to cancel; the app is doomed.
